Rob at used cars is the ultimate idiot. I went there to buy a used F150 and told mister know it all Rob, what I wanted. He pulled out his computer and tried to sell me cars from his seat. I reiterated let's go outside and I will show you what I want. It was raining and this idiot made every excuse not go out and kept showing me the same truck four times, after I told him I didn't want that car. He continued to ask me repeatedly... why don't I want this car. I explained to him repeatedly what I wanted and he kept playing his amateur tactics by saying this BS about their cars have a 180 inspection, so that's why I'm paying almost $5-6K more than cars on CarGurus that sell the same exact car. He continued to show me what he as wrong with other cars that were valued less than his top rated cars. That's not his business! I had to walk out after this idiot Rob continued his barrage of trying to sell me a truck that had been at his used lot for almost 3 months. My family has been buying our vehicles from Pat Milliken Ford for over 40 years. We haven't found a better dealership in the area. Once, I tried getting my vehicle serviced at another Ford dealership that was closer to home and was extremely disappointed with the service. The sales department at Pat Milliken is superior. Steve McGuire helped me with the sale of a vehicle, and he sold me my current Ford Fusion after my last Ford Fusion was totaled in a car accident. He was able to turn a tragic situation into a very pleasant experience. He found the exact car I was looking for and had it prepped and ready for me to pick up within a few days. Working with insurance companies can be difficult and frustrating, but Steve managed the process beautifully and seamlessly. When I picked up the pre-owned Fusion that he found for me (I trusted him enough to buy it sight unseen), it looked like it had just rolled off the assembly line. It was flawless. He had the paperwork ready for me to sign when I walked in, and I drove away from his office within about a half hour. Steve McGuire is not only an extremely experienced sales representative, but he was also extremely pleasant to work with. Everyone with whom my family has ever worked with at Pat Milliken Ford has been very knowledgeable and efficient. Sometimes, I've had to wait a very long time in the service department for simple things like oil changes or regular routine maintenance inspections. But their waiting room is comfortable, and I go prepared with work, reading material, or sometimes lunch. This is a great dealership with great employees. I purchased a vehicle from Rick Dawkins. He convinced me to pay $3000 for the premium warranty care package which covers 84 components. What he failed to mention was the additional costs for inspections. I made an appointment to have my car looked at today with a few different concerns from electrical to suspension. The lady over the phone did not mention anything about inspection charges. Today I went over my concerns with Samantha A. And she typed it all on her computer then tells me afterwards "oh did they mention it will be $155 per concern." She said they do not do car inspections, they can only inspect each item of concern individually at the $155 price point. Samantha said if there are no issues when inspecting the concerned items then I will be responsible for the full costs totaling almost $700. They also tried to charge me $82 to look at my brakes rotors and $80 to contact the key department for a replacement, which are both also included in my premium care package. Rick Dawkins Scammed me out of $3000. The service department is a scam, I never heard of a service department not being able to do a full inspection but instead charging for any concerns you may have. read more

They tried to play in my face multiple ways and insult my intelligence. Instead of admitting the demo model they sold me was a lemon in the making with brakes failing and panels missing. My paperwork with my insurance being wrong . Sarah volansky is thee worst human to buy a car from! No apology for this unsafe behavior! Worst car buying experience I've ever had. Came in with my own financing & knew what I wanted right off the bat. I let Mark Hollars talk me into their finance guy running my credit to beat the rate I had from my bank. Conversation started off pleasant enough until I didn't like the numbers & told Mike I 'm going to go with the financing I already have. He turned his chair around & stated, "If you love them so much go with them then." He proceeded to take care of other folders I assume were waiting. I said, "It's nothing personal it's just numbers & what you're showing me is not adding up to me. Never showed me the total price of the vehicle only interest rates, payment terms & monthly payment. Hit my credit four times only to not even come close to beating the rate I already had. I started to walk out & Mark Hollars caught me at the door to try to save the sale. Again, I had my own financing. He runs & prints off 2 or 3 retail purchase agreement sheets where I can see the cost breakdown of the car. That's when I notice all the tire & wheel packages that the finance guy is trying to push. I get it, dealerships love the up-sell & I know sales people have to make their money but if a customer tells you they don't want something that should be the end of you trying to sell them. I agree to buy the car & to come back the next day to have my wife take a look at it & to fill out all paperwork. On the way there the next morning I get a call from Mark asking if my bank had sent the payment. I was confused because the night before I had given my bank the info & nothing was sent. Clearly I was frustrated on the phone & didn't know what the holdup was. I had been given some bad info by my bank. That wasn't Mr. Hollars fault but he did snap at me because I was frustrated on how to complete the sell. Called my bank right in front of him & filled out paperwork only to be told that I couldn't drive the car off the lot until my bank sent payment so I left. At this point a plate had been pulled for the vehicle & all necessary title documents had been filled out & sent to the state of Michigan. I even had insurance on the car which I got the night before. I go home & call my bank again & they tell me that the dealership or salesmen needs to fill out a Dealer Funding Request. It's essentially a document with total cost of the vehicle & about 4 other things so they can send the payment for the vehicle to the dealership. I get a call from Mr. Hollars stating he got an email asking for him to fill this form out & he would send it right away. He never sent it. The deal got funding after I called my bank frustrated because I didn't know what the roadblock was. A rep at the bank told me if I had the dealerships account info I could fill the form out & upload to them & they would then fund the vehicle purchase. That's exactly what I did. Because of the New Year Holiday had to wait until the next Tuesday to pick up the car. Get to the lot only to be told the money is still not in. We leave the lot again frustrated. The next day I get a call from Mr Hollars stating the payment finally came & they could set up delivery, which I requested because I didn't want to have to go back to the dealership again & didn't have anyone to drive the car home due to my wife's work schedule. He sets dekiver for the next day @ 9:30 am. At 9:45 am I get a call from Mr. Hollars asking me if I have the license plate. I say no. After all this frustration he loses the plate & the vehicle can't be delivered. One solution offered was for me to do more leg work & got o the secretary of state...I said I'm not doing that. The other was to wait another week for someone to correct his screw up & issue the vehicle a different plate. At this point I decide I'm not waiting any longer. Just cancel the sale. This man actually got upset at me & told me I was hollering at him after all the nonsense I had to deal with. I then called the Assistant Sales Manager of pre-owned vehicles (Dave) & told him what was going on. I will never go back there again. What should've been a simple sale turned out to be the single most frustrating experience buying a car I've ever had. Oh, after I talked with Dave & told him we no longer wanted the vehicle & I wanted to initiate the paperwork to send the funds back to my bank I get a call from Mr. Hollars the next day from a number I didn't recognize. Upon answering the phone the first word out of his mouth was, "Jordan." Not Mr. Jordan just talking to me real familiar as if I'm not a customer. Says "they" found the plate & I can deliver the car right now if you want me to. I said I had to talk to my wife to calm myself down & get off the phone but I had no intention of accepting that vehicle after everything that happened. I called back & said NO. Send the money back. That man hung up in my face so fast he could hardly finish his last sentence. I work for Ford Motor Company. My experience will be shared with the Local 600 & employees. read more

If I could give them a higher rating than 5 stars, I would. We had a few problems with our 2015 Focus that we purchased elsewhere, which included a couple of recall issues. About 3 months ago, I attempted to make an appointment with another Ford dealer on Plymouth in Livonia. That appointment ended up in awful "customer service", and we never did have the repairs performed. Without going into all of the details, let's just say my experience at Pat Milliken Ford was the complete opposite. I finally had the time and energy to make a second attempt at gettiing our car fixed, so I decided to try Pat Milliken Ford this time. In all honesty, I mentally prepared myself for battle prior to calling, based on the aforementioned experience elsewhere. A gentleman named Jordan answered the phone and the call went so smoothly, I almost didn't know how to react. I made an appointment for early on 12/30 and still wasn't sure how the actual visit would go. When I arrived around 8am on 12/30, Jordan was waiting for me. I explained the issues we'd talked about on the phone and added one other issue on that had developed during the week prior. Jordan took care of all the paperwork and had me out the door with a loaner vehicle in about 15-20 minutes. In all honesty, I was stunned. Maybe this sounds normal to other people, but it certainly was not what I was expecting based on my experience at the dealership on Telegraph! Seeing as there was a holiday this week coupled with the fact that our car had 3 major issues, I wasn't expecting a quick turnaround at all. Jordan told me we'd problem have an update by Thursday, but I was ready to forgive them missing that due to the holiday. To my surprise, they called my wife late on Tuesday to let her know that 2 of the 3 issues had already been taken care of. They mentioned that Wednesday was a holiday and reminded us that they probably wouldn't be finished with the car until Thursday. Again, I was so surprised by this that it almost felt too good to be true. Like clockwork, they called my wife around mid-day on Thursday and said the car was ready for pick up. I stopped in soon after and the pick up went as smooth or smoother than the drop off did! I actually had a long drive to make right after pick up, so I was able to get about 2 hours behind the wheel when I pulled out. The main issue we had seems to be totally solved, along with the two minor issues. We are very thankful for this experience with Pat Milliken Ford. Jordan and everyone we interacted with treated us great through the whole process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

Not that I have had a ton of dealership encounters, but Pat Milliken is pretty decent: wifi, shuttle service, rental car service...the lobby area is a decent size and actually the dealership campus itself is pretty big. The service dept can behave a little unprofessionaly at times: bickering amongst each other in front of customers or being snippy on the phone, but they are usually efficient with the car repairs. Originally when I scheduled my car for service they told me that it would be ready for pick up early the next morning. After I dropped it off, I was told they would have it for 2 full days due to them being backed up. It was little annoying not having been informed ahead of time and the lack of consideration from the person who I spoke with. She tried to play down my inconvenience by pointing out that I have a rental car. Regardless, it an inconvenience to travel to the dealership and wait Considering that my car was there on behalf of Ford's recall I just feel that she could have been a little more courteous. I have purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership, primarily because I follow my salesperson, Ms. Richmond. I actually have followed her since about 2005 when I leased a vehicle when she was at another Ford dealership:-) Unfortunately, as a woman or someone who isn't particularly business savvy, the process of buying a car can be slightly intimidating. Ms Richmond is very personable, knowledgeable and experienced with not only Ford, but business in general. Of the 3 times I have done business with her I never felt rushed/pressured or as if she were trying to sway me. She will take the time to help you weigh the pros and cons of whatever vehicle you are considering on a personal level as well as from the standpoint of the vehicle itself. I went to this location because it had the best reviews of the Ford dealers near my house. I wasn't in a hurry to replace my lease, but wanted to make sure that I got something before the year end - because there were a couple vehicles I wanted that were going to end or change in 2020. Upon entry, Brandon asked me if I needed help and he proceeded to work with me throughout the duration of my experience. Overall, he was helpful and quick. I can't stand waiting around a dealership for old-school back room talk about what deal they can give me and whatnot. This happens even though I have A-plan at Varsity Ford, but does not happen here. And for that, I am very thankful to Brandon. However, he was a little pushier than I would have liked - like I said, I wasn't ready to buy right away (was about to head out on a 2-week trip).... but that's just what I ended up doing. While it is ultimately my fault for caving to this sales tactic, it just would have been nice had I not felt so forced. He's probably a top sales person because he is a go-getter... but I tend to prefer sales people that are a little bit more chill than that. I mean, I am GOING to buy a car... so just chill out a little. Other than that, I had a very nice experience at this dealership. Additionally, I REALLY like the software that they have implemented here for providing the lease price. It's fast and much more user-friendly than what I've seen at other dealerships. I would use this location again, I would use Brandon again, but I would make sure to be a bit more firm. read more

37 minutes ago NEW WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Mark Hollars was the worst salesman ever! He was non communicative, condescending, nonchalant and inefficient! He lost our registration and license plate. Here's story time..... My husband bought me my dream car for my Christmas gift. We looked online and found a Badlands model at Pat Milliken ford that I feel in love with. He went to test drive on Wednesday the 27th ias I work retail during the Holiday and couldn't go myself. He FaceTimed me and said let's do this! I was beyond excited. My husband had financing already secured through USAA so he wanted to just out right buy thy the car but in true salesman fashion the Finance manager started fast talking about a better interest rate and wasted 4 hours of his time offer him a lower rate BUT only if he added the warranties that we did not need or want. The finance manager then snapped at him to go with the other option in a condescending way. My husband told him it's not personal just money As he went to leave the salesman Mark chased down apologized and said he could use the USAA to buy the car. My husband was tired of being there and upset because of the financial manages attitude and told him we would be back the next day. We went back Thursday with all the necessary paper work to show our financing and the salesman even spoke to our bank to initiate the wire process. (He stated that was the only way to pay with USAA but later back tracked stating he had only worked with checks from USAA. We could have requested that) As we waited an hour he showed us our plates had all the paperwork completed and sat there. Finally I asked what we were waiting for and he said the wire transfer to come through.?!?!. We left and said just bring us the car tomorrow. He agreed. We never heard back from him. Then New years came. Tuesday morning went back to the dealership. My husband saw the new terms on USAA for our new Bronco and have proof of the financing including a trace number. He still would not release the car to us again with a condescending attitude like oh well! He then had to review the file again asking if we had insurance as if we were the reason the car was being held. So nonchalant and aloof. HE DID NOT CARE!! Mind you we have bought with USAA several times and simply drive of the lot the same day with no fight between us USAA or the financing team. Wednesday he called and stated everything cleared. Due to our work schedules my husband asked if he could deliver it to which he said yes and that he would Thursday morning. Thursday morning comes and he calls asking if we had the registration and plates !?!?? Why would you give the buyers the plates but not the damn car?!? 7 days later after attempting a beautiful gesture for his wife we are being told we would only had two options which were to wait several more day for him to mail SSOS to receive new plates or go ourselves to SSOS to get new plates. Are you serious!?! No apology just speaking at him about like well this is all you can do. No remorse no empathy for the fact that he had been putting us through the wringer for over a week during the Holidays. He then says well you can return the car with our 14 day policy to get your money back!WTF we never received the car and you list our registration. That's fraud and we will be reporting them to the better business bureau as well! THE WORST experience ever!!!!! Do not go to Pat Milliken and definitely don't use Mark Hollars!! read more

Absolutely worst customer service I my self am a car salesman with over 7000 deals in books and I would never treat my clients in this manor. I tried to order a truck that was supposed to be here in October Ford ended up canceling my order due to the chip shortage. Before finding that out from a different dealership I tried calling pat Millikan multiple times to find out what happened, I called and texted the salesman about 12-13 times in one week and 8 text messages and no reply. I was connected with John Blanchard, who helped me narrow down my choices and provided guidance on down payments and pricing for a new F-150. He was very knowledgeable, and shared pricing info in a non-pushy way, which I greatly appreciated. He was trying to educate me vs. sell me. He was there when I came in for a test drive, and was very flexible with my schedule. When it came time to take delivery of my truck, he drove it to my house! The process of filling out paperwork was great, and there was no up-selling on services I didn't want. I highly recommend him! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I tried buying a used vehicle from there, and called a sleazy sales guy out for lying about the prices (which are easily discoverable by anyone with internet, duh!). So they failed that test, and I bought my beautiful, top-trim, 2009 Ford vehicle (with very low miles) 3 years ago from another dealership. And will never buy a vehicle from them based on this crappy experience. However, giving them the benefit of a doubt, I have occasionally gone there to have my vehicle serviced, as I want to care well for this vehicle, and plan to take it to 200k miles (at least 5 more years). I have rationalized: Well, maybe I shouldn't judge this outfit by one bad sales experience. I WORK FOR FORD (no longer, but did for 5 years) and should use the nearest dealership to my home to service my vehicle out of loyalty to my employer. BUT - Every time I have taken my vehicle there I ask for some minor repair and they always tell me, oh don't bother. For instance, the seat in back is no longer able to fold as designed. "Oh, that's not worth fixing"...the cap-less gas lid was damaged. "Oh, no big deal. I wouldn't recommend going to the trouble and expense." Then I suspected transmission problems. Their diagnosis? "There's dark liquid in there. To replace the transmission is 4K" Did they see if there were parts inside that could be replaced? Nope. They throw a huge repair cost at me with very little detail. You see where this is going, right? They see I have an older car. They don't encourage me to keep it well maintained. They tell me a huge repair cost with no details or care into seeing if the transmission could possibly be rebuilt (much less expensively) with a few new transmission parts... Why? Because they are just hoping I'll give up and buy a new car. From their sleazeball sales guys. Nope. I don't recommend this place. There's a lot of options for Ford Dealers in this area. I've never had a bad experience with my sales person Frank Renko and I highly recommend him. The service department is another story. Long wait times. I've been told multiple times that they are "backed up" or "well it is right before a holiday." The managers offer lots of excuses but since buying/leasing 5 vehicles since 2010, between my wife and I, nothing has ever changed in the service department. I quit taking our cars there for any service due to how bad we were treated the last time. We took our car in at 9 in the morning for an oil change and when we arrived at 5:30pm we were told it wasn't finished. I'm sorry but it doesn't take that long for an oil change. The manager tried to blame the wait on a problem with Ford's scheduling program. Well that's a YP not an MP....your problem not my problem. Update 6/10/20. It's too bad things haven't improved IMO for their service department. Never and any issues with their sales department and I still have only had first class service from my sales person Frank Renko. He's a complete professional and really makes me wonder why the owner allows a service department to be run like it is. It's a total enigma as to why the service department isn't the same experience as the sales department. Could it be the owners are ok with making sales but not providing exceptional service? Judging by my conversation with the General Manager Brian I would like to say this isn't true but my experiences tell me different. It's too bad I'm having to take my business someplace else because of this but if nothing is going to change there isn't much else I can do. After buying/leasing as many vehicles as my wife and I do, we shouldn't be treated like this and we don't have to be treated like this. No one should be treated poorly at a dealership for any reason. I drive from Brighton just to get there service. Had collision work done on 2 vehicles and they did excellent work. I am retired Ford Quality manager so I am extreamly detailed in my expectations. Did have an issue with clear coat 2 years after the repair and they resolved it no questions asked and provided a rental car while it was being repaired. I leased a brand new Ford Edge SEL Thursday night, only to find (the next morning) that the interior lights are not functioning properly. I am a returning Pat Milliken customer, and have had an Edge SEL for the last two years; as a result, I know how to use the interior lights. I called the dealership to let them know I received a malfunctioning new car (I think it is an electrical problem), and was not helped as I should be. I am frustrated I received a malfunctioning new car, but since I can't return the broken merchandise, I just want it fixed at no cost to me. The dealership said to bring in the car, and they would look at it. Because this is a brand new lease vehicle, I have a mileage allowance for my lease. I do not live close to the dealership, so I requested the mileage I will have to put on the car to take it in to be fixed, be taken off my lease deal, which I just signed the night before. When I was told they couldn't do that because it was a corporate issue, I asked for them to tow my car in so it wouldn't accrue the mileage. I was told they would tow it in, but would not tow it home. How is it ok that I was given a malfunctioning car, but now I have to lose my miles because they gave it to me broken? I am so unhappy and disappointed with Ford and their customer service (I called the Ford customer service line, and was hung up on), and I now feel I am stuck with this malfunctioning car unless I waste my lease miles to hopefully have it fixed. I am generally not a review writer, but I feel helpless right now; as because Ford is a big company, they are able to push me aside and not care. Why and how is this ok? I do not think asking for the mileage back is a huge ask when given a broken new car. I hope this review helps others when considering buying a new car from Pat Milliken or any Ford dealership. Neither the dealership, nor corporate cared enough to simply return my mileage. Is this really such a big ask for a multimillion (billion) dollar company? Although also frustrated that I received a malfunctioning car in the first place (I will now have to go through a bunch of trouble to hopefully get my new car fixed), I just wanted a small amount of respect as a customer, to receive fair and appropriate customer service. The saleswoman that I had the absolute pleasure of working with was named Katie Jesulaitis. From the exact moment that I entered the showroom, her personality and face lit up as if she were genuinely happy to see me. Of course, I know sales people do and should be happy to see potential customers; however, my most recent experience at a Chevy dealership I was with for my past 3 vehicles turned me completely off from the entire company. Mind you, I have been in a Chevy for 20 years straight and I have never (until this day) driven a Ford. I merely went in not thinking I was going to choose a Ford nor would I be able to get a new vehicle in my price range knowing I had negative equity. I was really just going to peek at a few cars and see if anything could happen; again, I had no high hopes based on my situation. I really was feeling defeated after the salesperson at Chevy basically blew me off and made me feel like I was not worthy to be in there. I cannot make this stuff up. So there I was, feeling like my upside-down Chevy created financial turmoil and there was nothing I could do about it. I was thinking I would have to go to a used car lot and just deal with the setback. Then, as I said, I walked into Pat Milliken Ford and met the most amazing young lady that turned my horrible prior experience into one of the most amazing outcomes. She cared, she listened, she actually heard what I had to say, and she took the time to hear me out. She was able to get all of my negative equity rolled into my new 2019 Ecosport. The vehicle is small, cute, perfect for me and my lifestyle and the most important part - I was able to stay within my budget and get out of the vehicle I was in. I have been in customer service my entire life and people are always quick to do reviews when things are negative or not up to par, but do not always take the time to praise the huge success stories. I had to ensure that I gave Ms.Katie kudos for a job well done! I have NEVER received such stellar service all while really feeling like she was being genuine and honest with me. I did not feel like she was going through the motions and just faking it to make a sale. John Blanchard is an A++++ salesman. I've walked into and out of more dealerships than I care to admit in Metro Detroit where most of the salesman were to involved in their game of Candy Crush on their phone than to get up and try and sell me a car. I was the only customer in the showroom and not one salesman could help me... Co-worker recommended John. John was great. Spent less than 2 hours at the dealership between making the deposit on one trip and then returning a week later to get the car. All other communication was done via phone or email. Every other dealer I contacted said come in and we will get you something nice when I emailed them the VIN of the car I wanted and asked for best deal...No more will I go through that. I brought my car in at 7:30am to get a passenger headlight replaced. The big fella sitting in the chair, never stood up to professionally engage with me, and said I would have to park my car and leave for a day to change a damn head light . This is ridiculous every-time I come here for the smallest things they want to keep my car for days . It's not our fault you guys are short staffed. Expand your service hours and open on Saturday to be more efficient. I took my car to village ford not only did they replace my light but both my filters and new wipers after also inspecting it. Brought my car to village at 8am I was out at 9:15am doing all of what pat said they would need a day to they did in an hour. Was trying to lease a demo they had on the lot, sent all proper documents, got approved, and priced out. Then they told me I would have to wait because the truck has a safety recall on it and they cannot release the truck to me. I waited 3 weeks with high hopes that the truck was mine, got frustrated and tried to reach management they would not answer, salesman said they will give me a call and no management called me in regards to what was really going on. Come to find out the VIN of the vehicle did not have any recalls on it, got lied to, got my credit ran for no reason, and the truck is still being driven around by owners or management. No management called me or bothered to get involved, and I still don't know why this truck was not leased to me. Waited for nothing, and the management at this dealership is very poor. If they cannot be clear to their own salesmen, why would they be clear to customers... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. read more
