With that being said, we were more than satisfied with our stay here. It is a most unique and inviting lodge. While the room not exceptionally large, it was roomy enough with plenty of space in bath and dressing area. Our window looked out over the rushing creek/river(?) behind the lodge. They have a large swing right at the river which was wonderful. They also had a large fire pit area to enjoy, and we did! A wonderful light breakfast is offered in the lovely common area. We were more than pleased and if ever in the area again, will definitely stay here.

We had things like pancakes, eggs benedict, bagels, baked goods, and fruit. On one of the nights we were here it snowed, and we were able to light a fire in the fireplace. It was so cozy! I would say the only drawback was that there is not air conditioning. While this was not an issue for us because the weather was cooler (it was in June) and we could open our windows, I could see it being a problem if there was a heat wave or later in the summer.

Asked for a refund and was told no refunds not their fault the tv broken. I left and said I would dispute charge with credit card, they said go ahead won't do any good. It's not my fault the TV's broken either, there web sites says they have TV in common room to watch. It was one heck of a game.

It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.
