You can really tell the owners love what they do and providing excellent service to everyone who stays here. If you're looking to explore the grand Tetons and Yellowstone, but don't want to stay too close to the parks, i definitely recommend staying here. The grand Tetons are about an hour drive and Yellowstone is about 2.5 hours from the lodge.

On our first full day at the lodge we saw a moose with her two calves. Later, two juvenile red-tailed hawks frequently rested on the rocks by the creek that runs next to the house. A fox and deer visited as well. The manager of the property, Meg, was very accessible, and tended to all our needs. She is a warm, friendly person, as is Chef Renee. Breakfasts were quite a treat, and the evening meals were akin to fine dining. We planned our vacation for over a year, as this was our first extended family trip in quite a while. We came from Washington, Oregon, Georgia, and North Carolina. Wyoming and The Wildflower Lodge did not disappoint. None of us were ready to leave when our week was up. An epic vacation!

We played cards at night, drank coffee in the morning, and had great fellowship with our family, whom we rarely see. It was far better than getting hotel rooms in town. The space was perfect for relaxing and enjoying each other. The B&B itself was clean, well-decorated, and very accommodating. The only thing I didn't realize was that we wouldn't have access to the kitchen, which I should have suspected. We were told we could use the grill; however, without a kitchen, it made the idea of grilling out as a family difficult. In my head, I thought it would be more like an Airbnb in the sense that we would access the kitchen, but that was the only thing I was unaware of as we had rented the entire space. The hosts, however, prepared terrific breakfasts for us each morning, and we just ate out each night. The river was fast, so we didn't do any fishing; however, the view right out the back door was priceless. A few of our family members used the hot tub, which they greatly enjoyed - sitting under the stars in a hot tub with the snake river and mountains in the background... Perfection!

It was really nice. We would stay there again. We stayed in the new building, which I think they call Broadway. Breakfast is not included. They charge $20/per person which I first through was high until I got used to the town. Jackson is very expensive. Other than getting a breakfast burrito to go from D.O.G. (which is awesome, by the way) you will find $20 to be on par, or cheaper, than any other breakfast you can get in town. Plus, this one is cooked to order and served in the relaxed atmosphere of the Inn. If you need breakfast included there is one other hotel in town in the same price range that offers a buffet, but having stayed at Huff House, Since breakfast may be a sticking point for some, it shouldn't be. Here's why; there are a lot of food options in town. We stayed at Huff House for 4 nights. Had breakfast there once. It was superb. No complaints, but it was also nice to try some of the other places right next door (Cafe Genevieve, Persophone, and D.O.G.). I think you will like the variety PLUS you have a fridge and microwave in your room so you may just have leftovers from last night's dinner you'll want to heat up instead. Options! I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It's great.

Had we not had his helped, we would have ended up somewhere else. We stayed in both the Cody suite and Snake River cabin. LOVED both. The beds were soooo comfortable. Whoever makes their beds, it was like heaven - tucked in nice and neat and super comfy! The rooms were spacious and the Cody suite (our fav!), had a small table/chairs and couch, made it so we could relax and regroup without having to always sit on the bed - perfect! Claire was also an absolute gem! She was always so kind and helpful, very sweet accommodating times and giving great info for the area, places to eat, etc. She made it so we wanted to return! PS - I hope your foot heals soon. Lastly, the cookies. OMG, what a wonderful touch. It was the culinary highlight of our Jackson visit, lol. Something so small that left a great lasting impression. Thanks to both John and Claire, we'd return to Huff House in a heartbeat!
