We spent 2 nights here in July. It was hot in Jackson but the Inn's location on the creek made for a cool oasis after our wandering about town. We had the Harlequin room upstairs facing the creek. We sat on our balcony at dusk watching geese in the water and a variety of birds. Another guest played her violin on the lawn below us. It was perfect. You will love staying here! From the homemade breakfasts to the afternoon fresh baked cookies that are left by the front door. And if that's not enough they offer an evening happy hour of beer and wine with cheese and crackers. We saw a beautiful buck right outside our balcony resting on the lawn. The grounds are small but are so beautiful. I will definitely stay at this property the next time we visit the area over another place. The location is perfect as well for walking into town to the rodeo and to all the restaurants in town. What an exceptional experience it was to stay at the Inn By the Creek!! We have never stayed in a B&B before, but the reviews were so outstanding we had to try it. The family who run it have been in the industry for 40 years and are passionate about every aspect of the Inn. The feeling when you enter the lobby and dining area is so welcoming and charming! Everyone was so friendly with outstanding service. We stayed in the Harlequin room which the owner told us that Cosmopolitan magazine declared in 2005 that the view from the balcony was the most romantic in the nation. I'd have to agree. We sat out there every night with a glass of wine. The trees rustled slightly in the soft wind, birds chirped happily and the soothing sound of the creek makes for a very enchanting place. Add the incredible view and you don't want to leave. The room was very large, nicely decorated with every amenitie we could ever think of. The owners are remodeling the rooms, so it could be even nicer when you book. The outside of the Inn is so charming and inviting. The entire staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I extended my trip by three days as I didn't want to go elsewhere. My room with fireplace suite (first night) and Creekside (remaining stay) were spacious and provided a good evening relaxation and rest. The convenience of awaking to breakfast was welcomed and diverse in its offering daily. The desserts (cookies, ricotta cake, etc) had the dining area smelling so good. Other guests on the property were nice and as far away as Australia. Many of the guests were previous guests who returned. That tells you how much they enjoy(ed) themselves. Hands-down the best place we stayed on our entire trip. We booked the Swan Studio to share between four people in early June. It's a stunning location, right on flat creek, with families of geese right outside your door. Both the main and pull-out bed were quite comfortable. The room is spacious, with a full kitchen and simple furnishings. Large bathroom with a shower, and ample heating that kept us toasty. The price was wildly affordable when split among our party, and the value is endless. Nate and Hailey are wonderful owners, they and the rest of the staff were so courteous and kind. There are complimentary cookies and baked goods by the front door, a wine and beer happy hour in the afternoon, and delightful breakfast selections every morning. Fresh egg and protein entrees, fresh OJ and coffee, and a fresh-baked dessert made every morning a joy. The location is perfect - just out of the main downtown area, but within walking distance of everything you need. Parking is easy in their private lot. This is a GEM! Got in 2 hrs early .. NO PROBLEM! Room keys ready! Adorable, clean & quiet room! Gave us great suggestions for food in town. Morning breakfast was AMAZING! Treated to a wonderful greeting and coffee. We had homemade crepes with fresh fruit and the BEST was scones (grandmas recipe) that were to die for! This was a highlight on our cross country trip! We literally spent 41/2 hours researching the hotels in Jackson Hole before we reserved our spot. It was our first time. We HAD to get it right. We almost booked a hotel for $1,500/night until we came across Inn On the Creek. We loved the social breakfast in the morning (yes, they are covid safe) and the present they gave us on Christmas morning. They didn't have to do that but they really cared. But our FAVORITE part was the wine and cheese happy hour every night. Ages ranging from mid twenty couples to older couples kept us laughing all into the night and gave us all great insight on activities we could do if we had missed one. Everybody that worked there was nicer than any hotel employee I have ever met. I travel a lot too. The prices we pay at fancy places didn't compare to the service and experience we had here. I'm ruined for life now with bed and breakfasts! This won't be topped. Thank you everyone! My one complaint: Your fresh squeezed, frosty-glassed, 10 star orange juice should be available in quantities similar to Costco sized portions at breakfast. As an adult, I should be able to choose how sick I get from drinking too much of it. I loved it. read more

We cannot imagine a more comfortable Jackson place to gear up with included homemade breakfast each morning, snack on warm cookies in the afternoon, and unwind creekside with complimentary wine and cheese each evening. We booked 3 clean and cozy rooms for a multigenerational reunion. Whether we wanted some peace to watch wildlife (goslings, magpies, chickadees, mallards, beaver and flopping fish on Flat Creek) or to exchange daily adventures with fellow inn guests (from as far away as UK!), there was adequate space and seating on the serene creek bank and deck area. The daily whiteboards got your mouth watering for upcoming breakfasts (beyond standard eggs and bacon) and highlighted notable attractions (from gondolas to huckleberry ice cream) and events (art festivals and rodeo) happening in Jackson. Staff advice on a Teton hike, Yellowstone tour, and fly fishing school tailored to our family's needs was spot on. From the moment we checked in we were in love with the Inn. The inn was super homey, neat, and very cozy. There was a beautiful creek a few yards from their backyard. We called 2 months before our trip and asked if we can get a room facing the creek. They reserved us a room on the second floor with a cute patio facing the creek. There were a family of deers and ducks enjoying the creek in the morning. The room that we stayed at is called Harlequin. The room and bathroom were squeaky clean, it had a comfortable bed, small couch, and mini fridge. Breakfast was served between 8 - 10 am. They provided a wide ranging selection of breakfast itemd including gluten sensitive options like oatmeals and fresh fruits. Hailey and Nate are the owners of the Inn. They were very friendly and helpful. Nate made the world's best quiche! They also gave us pro tips for things to do around the area including where to see trumpet swans! This place is absolutely amazing! Comfortable bed, spotless room, our room even had a twin shower! Nice independent owner who made sure we we're taken care of. We came back one afternoon to find that a outlaw band of Canadian geese had pooped all over the yard by the creek and the sidewalk. The owner himself cleaned it up very quickly. Finding the Inn on the Creek was like finding a precious gem, a one of a kind, and the best home away from home we have ever stayed in! A family operated bed and breakfast whose owners have been in the hospitality business for 40 years and have definitely perfected it beyond any other! The fabulous homemade hot breakfast, the warm afternoon cookies, and a 5 to 7 p.m. get together with other guests, were among a few luxuries we enjoyed. Both Casey and Amy Morton, the owners, as well as their daughter Hailey and husband Nate, took extra steps to listen to exactly what we were looking for as far as recommending any adventures and/or pointing us in the right direction. The rooms were comfortable, clean, with so many nice touches to make it feel like home. Rent a movie from their library or pick up a book to read. Sit along the creek and relax after a long hike! After saying our good-byes, I received a phone call from Casey saying, "I just wanted to personally say good-bye since I missed you when you checked out" along with wishing us the best. When I saw the number on caller ID, I just figured I must have left something in the room. From the welcome to the good bye, this charming bed and breakfast, nestled next to Flat Creek with the surrounding picturesque mountains, beats any high end luxury hotel I have ever stayed in! We were looking for a white Christmas, winter wonderland and boy did we find it! The staff went above and beyond and made our Christmas vacation extra special! They were always polite, looking to help, and always called us by our names. Happy hour, warm cookies, daily breakfast, and a lovely family feel. Every morning from our room, we saw duck, swans, and other animals at the creek. They provided us bus passes to get to the mountain and the stop was only a quick walk with our ski equipment. Also a great location just a short walk to lots of restaurants and shops. We only stayed one night because we were camping in Teton but can't wait to come back during ski season for a longer stay. We had a lovely suite (I think) had a nice kitchen a couch fireplace and it opened upto a table and chairs by the creek! If you are looking for romance this is the place! This review is overdue. My husband and I stayed here in June of 2017 and it was one of the best Bed and Breakfast experiences we have ever had. We thought that then and even more now that we have been to a few other ones in California to compare to since we've been back. The room was lovely. We stayed in a room with a Jacuzzi and fireplace, very spacious and comfortable. The location of the Inn was ideal! Next to a Creek, at the end of a quiet street, and an easy walk to a lot of great restaurants. What makes this place so special is the ambiance that the family sets for their guests. As soon as they see you, without you introducing yourself, they greet you by name. They show a very genuine interest in you, making you feel like you are part of their family and you are a long time friend visiting their family home. This atmosphere then trickles down to the guests and before you know it, you feel like you have known everyone there for years and you can't wait to see them in the evening or mornings to see how everyone is doing. I'm a very shy person so at B&Bs sometimes it even feels awkward having breakfast with strangers. Not here, it felt like home. It was so nice how the owners were so sweet and caring that they made it such a warm and welcoming atmosphere becoming part of our unforgettable trip. read more

My wife and I stayed here for a night away during July this year. It was a nice quiet place. The beds were very comfortable. The location is nice. It's near everywhere you might want to walk but it is a little off the beaten path. We walked to our favorite local restaurant (Blue Lion) which is only a few blocks away. My family stayed last summer at the Inn, wanting a cozy and nice bed and breakfast to stay for the week. This Inn exceeded all of our highest expectations. My father, who usually prefers newer luxury hotels, was enthralled with this amazing stay. He equally agreed he would never stay anywhere else. To put it simply, the Inn immediately makes you feel at home, which, in my view, is one of the highest, most favorable complements of any stay. This winter, my two friends from college and I stayed at the Inn for two weeks. I wanted to stay here again because I wanted to feel at home somewhere for our extended stay, and because this Inn is again, the ONLY place I would ever stay in Jackson- its the perfect place. The location is fabulous as well, since it is situated a 5 minute walk from the center square, yet is on the edge of quiet street (where there are little tourists in high seasons) near a beautiful creek. During my first stay, we opening the windows so we could hear the creek at night. The staff are the kindest people I have ever met, who know you by name when you walk in. Every morning, the staff cooks up true, HOMEMADE and gourmet breakfast which changes every day. If you do not like what's on the day's menu, they will whip you up something different. They will also run by the grocery store for anything you might want in particular by "adding it to the grocery list." I might also mention their famous granola- It's to die for. During my two weeks at the Inn this winter, I broke my collarbone and had to get surgery in Jackson. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable, sending up three silver buckets of ice when I got home, and serving me breakfast in bed. There are so, so many reasons why this Inn is truly the best inn Jackson that I cannot truly hit on them all. It is also hard to portray how amazing it is until YOU stay there! read more

This place is a gem among the hustle of the city of Jackson, and a peaceful place along the creek backing up to the Teton's (though they are out of view). Waking up to the sound of the creek outside the window with a full panoramic view was fantastic. The owners are authentic and welcoming. They made a glorious breakfast, built to fuel us for a busy day hiking. It was complete with fresh ground coffee, casserole, fresh squeezed OJ, local jams, as well as organic oats and yogurt! What! They also hosted social hours with other guests. They supplied wine and cheeses as well as could remember every guests name for introductions on the first try. Impressive! My girlfriend and I were driving cross-country and this is where we stayed on our night in Jackson Hole. This was easily our favorite stop of the whole trip. Inn On the Creek has friendly staff, very comfortable rooms and beds, and a fantastic location. We hadn't initially planned to spend this much on a room, but even the motels in Jackson Hole are pricey, and my girlfriend and I both agreed the next day that paying more to stay here was worth every penny. There's a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room, they have movies you can borrow for the night, there was a wine and cheese hour with the other guests that we enjoyed, and breakfast was delicious (breakfast burritos and Elk sausage). We ended up liking it so much, that we decided we're going to come back for more than one night the next time we have the time and the money! read more

We can't possibly say enough kind things about this inn and the staff who run it. They were the friendliest people my girlfriend and I have ever met, and they were wildly excited to host us. The whole staff knew our names from the moment we checked in, and they did everything they could to make our stay outstanding. Fresh breakfast every morning included granola, yogurt, cereal, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, some form of breads or pastries, and usually eggs and meats - absolutely top notch and super healthy. On top of knowing everything there was to know about the town and the park, they had recommendations for things to do and places to eat every day of the week at all hours of the day. We were within walking distance of everything around Jackson Hole, and they provided us with a map at check in in case we got lost or wanted to find our way to specific locations. In the winter there is plenty of incredible skiing and sight-seeing tours to take advantage of, with dog sledding under an hour away and Eco-Tours giving us an unforgettable time spotting everything from bald Eagles to Bison. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and if you're going in the winter we'd recommend going for the room with a hot tub since it was the absolute best ending to the day - besides the fresh cookies waiting by the door, and the social hour with drinks and hors d'oeuvres each evening. The price we paid was very fair, and we got far more than we could have hoped for out of the five days we spent with them. We can not wait to come back in the summer, when there's even more to do! Located in the heart of Jackson but off the main drag, this was a scenic & quiet location. A variety of room choices. Where do I begin, every aspect of our stay was awesome. From the moment we walked in to the morning we left the staff was friendly & attentive. They were always on top of making sure our stay was comfortable. My husband and I stayed in the Heron room, even though it may have been the smallest, we felt very cozy. The bed was excellent, fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. The room was exceptionally clean and staff made sure it was everyday. The view from our balcony was quaint with the view of the creek. There were either deer, moose and/or ducks that visited the creek regularly. Having a homemade breakfast made each morning was a treat. Everything from coffee, juice, fruit, homemade baked goods, also if you wanted the special hot meal of the day it was made with care by Haley. There was always a treat at the front door when we came in from our outings and also there were drinks for us to sit and relax during social hour or take to our room to unwind. This Inn has such a warm feeling and I really feel it's because of the wonderful people that run it. It felt like you were visiting family or friends.
