Did our first escape room here and had a great time! Friendly, helpful staff (Joanna was a particular delight!) and challenging but very fair room. If you like escape rooms, this is a great one! We did the Bunker and hope to come back ASAP for the others.

Super dig these cool cats. Have done all 3 rooms now at this point. {Redid the prison break one with more people since me and my partner barely made it out of the cell on our first try}. Very well thought out, and awesome small detail design work. Staff was very lovely. One of my top 3 escape room places in Seattle along with Locurio and Cognition escape rooms.

My sister and I stumbled upon this gem while looking for something to do at night in Seattle that wasn't a bar. We walked in and asked to play whatever room they had available. We played Mission Bunker and I must say that it was impeccably themed. You really felt like you could be fighting a secret war! The experience however felt average to me. Nothing stood out to me as unique or exceptional. Although we overthought some puzzles, we still had a good time. I would recommend it as a solid escape room adventure.

Wow! What a great experience! I love escape rooms. Every new state I visit, I have to book an escape room! I've gone to different escape rooms in North Carolina, New York, Utah, Nevada, Georgia, etc... Definitely one to try out! Goodluck!

I'll keep this simple. We spent the rest of our day saying "THAT WAS SO FUN" ...over and over again! First time experience with doing an escape room for 3/4 of us and it was just the best time! We didn't even solve it in time and yet we absolutely loved it and kept talking about doing another one! I CAN'T WAIT for our next escape room!

This was a fun, intense escape room experience that had some pretty good puzzles and friendly game masters. We did the night stalker themed room, which involved being let into the room blindfolded and handcuffed to the floor or desk to start things off! The room was eerie and creepy, but not too over the top, especially since there were no live actors in the room (thank goodness!). This was a fun experience and I'd definitely recommend it to those looking for some intense fun in the Seattle area.

This was one of the best escapes we have been. It was very creative, challenging and manageable for a group of 2. We did the prison escape and that was different than other prison escapes we have been. The staff was very friendly! I recommend for sure!

I did the Zodiac themed escape room and it was such a blast! My team and I completed it in 50 minutes. Whoo hoo!! Just for those who might be wondering if it's too scary - it's not. Without giving anything away, there are certainly a bit of horror elements to it and there's one really loud jump scare, but other than that, it's your straightforward escape room. There aren't any actors or anything that will pop out at you. As for the difficulty level, this is probably a medium. In total, my team only asked for 3 hints. You do have to decode some puzzles and find items to use for something within the room. The game is nonlinear, so you will need to keep some items with you throughout the game. I really want to try the other two rooms (The Mission Bunker and Prison Break).

We can't wait to do our first escape.

We absolutely loved our time at Fox in a box. We did the teen one, the first time for the kids, and it was amazing. The guy running the front counter was so friendly and so awesome, and totally helpful because we needed lots. We will definitely be back.

Two very satisfied costumers!!!!

First experience at an escape room. Amazing! I didn't realize a room actually has several rooms inside.

The questions weren't very "puzzling" - they weren't very clever and brainy which was a little disappointing. It was a little tricky clicking through the app and when to click because they give you some time to walk to places. Most of the answers were really easy once you get to the spot, but occasionally it was tricky trying to figure out exactly what answer they wanted. We actually tried this in another city as well, and it was roughly the same experience - just mediocre.

Original post: Thanks for ruining my birthday, Puzzling Adventures! I purchased the Puzzles by the Glass (21 and over) adventure for my birthday party as it seemed like it would be a fun time. What I wound up with instead is some sort of walking tour of the sculptures at the Seattle Center. It was a total snooze fest and definitely not what I wanted to do for my birthday. Basically, it has you walk from one sculpture to the next, read the plaques, and then answer a reading comprehension question for each one. Freaking ridiculous. I thought I was purchasing basically a pub crawl and thought it would be a fun way for my friends and I to go on an adventure and check out some places we might not otherwise go to. After 30 minutes of walking from sculpture to sculpture, our group finally decided it was clear they weren't leading us to a bar so I tried to call but (surprise) nobody works at Puzzling Adventures on the weekends when folks might actually be using their products so there was no way to get support to get us on the correct adventure so we chose our own adventure instead. What a waste of money (not just the cost of the "adventure", but also the $22 parking at the lot it has you start at).

The theming was top notch. Our large group was paired with 2 strangers which seemed odd but the…read more"private group" price was much more expensive than the already pricy per person price. There are multiple rooms, and we solved almost all of the puzzles even though there wasn't any sort of feedback for someone other than the guide telling us we'd done it. This was the most disappointing part since we expected the parts and pieces to have functionality. If you're looking for an experience that feels more Disney than other escape rooms you might enjoy this one but we felt it was lacking.

The good and the bad: The good is that there is some fun…read morecool tech in the first and last rooms in particular (no spoilers) and all the tech worked. There are a few rooms to go through and that was fun. They have a lot of lockers (with free locks!) Foe heavy coats/bags, etc. Some of the puzzles are different takes than what you might expect. You have "Alex" with you at all times. Sometimes it is helpful. The bad: The rooms are time gated because the group in the room in front of you has to finish or fail before you can move on. That means sometimes you wait or they give you the equivalent of busywork until the next room opens. It would be better to have optional video filler at that time. They have a lot of video sequences that don't give clues and are too long. If I am trying to figure out a puzzle next to a screen, I don't want to be randomized by a video unrelated to the activity. The rooms are pretty noisy. If you have a listening puzzle it is hard to hear. Parking nearby is spendy. The worst IMO? YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR YOUR PICS AT THE END. That really irritated me. It's not a cheap ticket and having an electronic copy of a photo should be part of the package IMO. You can also choose to tip your "Alex" at the end. They aren't the most complicated puzzles especially if you are an experienced puzzler. All of them involve tech which was interesting... The only physical locks were ones on the lockers outside. I think it may be the only escape room we've done where there wasn't a single lock to solve! We solved all the puzzles and made it out.
