My previous dentist had prescribed prescription painkillers THREE TIMES over the course of one root canal- they did nothing to stop the pain. After Dr. Ricks completed the procedure in ONE visit, I did not need anything other than Tylenol and Advil. That's it! Do not get a root canal from a dentist. See an endodontist.
