On a whim we decided to have pizza delivered while watching the Padres game. We'd had Fox giant Pizza once before, so we decided to try them again. I ordered through the Slice app. One 16" Meat Lovers: Pepperoni, Canadian bacon, Italian sausage, beef. One 14" Hawaiian BBQ: BBQ sauce, Canadian bacon, pineapple, bacon. I ordered right around 6:00, the ETA was 6:28. The delivery person was handing my pizzas to me at exactly 6:28. No joke! Both pizzas were really good. Better than expected even. The Meat Lovers was absolutely loaded with toppings. The cheese and sauce were both great. The Hawaiian BBQ was great too! I love the sweet/savory of the pineapple vs. Canadian bacon. The chopped bacon was a great addition. The BBQ sauce was tangy and not too sweet. We loved that the crust was a bit well done. Perfectly well done actually. Also, a plus, they were both double cut resulting in more slices that are easier to eat. After tax, tip and service, the bill was just shy of $50. Yes, I love pineapple on pizza. I wanted to try a new pizza joint and stumbled upon Fox's Giant Pizza. Located 8011 Mission Gorge Rd; I'm super happy that I gave them a try and loved it! I ordered the fish & chips, chocolate Mousse cake, lasagnas and margareta pizza. Margareta pizza had olive oil, ricotta, mozzarella, feta, basil, tomato and garlic. Fish & chips - 10/10! Crispy and delicious! I was quite surprise. Margareta pizza - 10/10! Crispy, flavorful, sooooo good! Lasagna- 6 out of 10. Mid lasagna, great portion but no flavor. Had to add Italian seasoning and garlic to mines. Chocolate mousse- did not try because it did not look that great. Overall: I will def be back to try different pizza. They have a great menu with lots of options and priced very reasonably. They also do delivery and arrive fast! The giant pizza was incredible and plenty for a party. The supreme pizza is outstanding with tons of fresh ingredients spread evenly all over. We always order our pizza well done at other places but we don't need to here because they always make the pizza perfectly crispy! Everyone is always very friendly as well! I would've given a 5 star just because the pizza that they make is so good however the reason I'm giving a 1 star is because of communication and unprofessional service I don't know the name of the person but honestly I felt disrespected of the way I wasn't able to understand the worker of the words that he was saying when I asked about the sizing of the pizza and I didn't mean to make it sound like I couldn't hear or understand and honestly I couldn't hear him because of the noises that the shop was making , anyway I asked him only 2 times to repeat and the next thing you know is that he eventually tells me are you deaf can you understand English , Like What??? I haven't been here for years. This used to be a part of a chain but I believe it changed owners years ago. I fondly remember their taco pizza and lunch slice specials. They don't seem to have either these days. Also, their lunch specials are only good Monday- Thursday and of course I was there on a Friday. Why not keep the lunch specials all week?? Are they that popular on Fridays that they need to justify no specials?! It's small, with a couple of tables but I remember it was small from before. I decided to get a gyro pita and fries and a 20 ounce bottle of soda. The total came to $17.50, almost $19 with tax! Now for the food: the gyro sandwich was pretty bland and tasteless. The spice I'm used to and the tzatziki flavor was just not there. The portion size was a little small as well. The fries were okay. They have better fries IMHO than the new Greek place down the street, but they are not outstanding or anything. For the price, I wasn't thrilled, and I probably won't be coming back here. My girlfriend loves this place. We ordered the Greek Pizza. It is pretty FIRE in taste. I like the gyros here too. I have come here in the past for some good food. There's a bunch of us in the house while we're there, so we order 2 or 3 large pies and pick 'em up. We have always found the pizza to be top-notch, with fresh, tasty ingredients. I feel like there are a lot of mixed reviews but I'm just going to erase this based on my experience. I had ordered a pretty basic pepperoni pizza with extra sauce because I like simple pizzas. My husband went to go pick it up and he said that the establishment was clean and the guy was super friendly. The pizza was made pretty quick and was probably ready within 15 minutes of me ordering it. I actually really enjoyed the pizza because it reminded me of this pizza place on University avenue and I used to go to as a kid. They were really generous on the pizza sauce on the pizza. We've lived in Santee for going on 20 years now and have tried pizza from a half dozen places. Somehow, Fox's Giant Pizza alluded us... until today. Last night, we were going for a ride, as one does, and drove by Fox's. My wife said, oh, Fox's pizza, we should try it sometime. So today, I looked them up on the internet and ordered a couple 12" pies and an antipasto salad for later. I know that pineapple on pizza is triggering to some and this is not an argument for or against, just that it is one of the types my wife and I enjoy. We ordered a spicy Hawai'ian and a Veggie pizza, both with extra cheese. The spicy Hawai'ian had jalapenos which gave a pleasant heat to the sweet and savory pie. The crust is tender and a tasty but could be a bit crisper (which may have been due to us arriving about 15 minutes after they were ready, and another 10 minutes to get it home to eat). The sauce is among the best red sauces I have had, not to sweet, not overly herbaceous, just well balanced. The quality of the ingredients shines through in every bite. Nothing tasted thawed, expired, or cheap. If there was one minor critique, there could have been more pineapple on the Hawai'ian. The veggie pizza had freshly sliced tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers along with good California olives and mushrooms. We are saving the antipasto salad for dinner, but I am sure that it will be delicious as well. Service: Ordering, customizing, and paying was fast and easy through the website. We were greeted with a pleasant smile and they were genuinely appreciative of our business. We were in and out in about a minute! In close, pluses: Close, delicious, quality. Minuses: I didn't discover them 20 years ago (have they even been around that long?). We will be back for all of our pizza needs and next time, I think I will try the Philly cheesesteak pizza! read more

This has easily become our favorite pizza place. I want to order all the time and it is totally worth it. I had them for the first time at a birthday party and I needed to know immediately where it came from so I could also order it. It was within a week I ordered for the first time and now I have been ordering a couple times a month. I have called to order and I never have trouble getting through and placing my order and I have also placed my order online which is also easy. We always do pick up since this isn't too far from us and its easy to do so. Our kids also love to go to pick it up. Our normal order is pizza and mozzarella sticks but we have also ordered salads and pasta meals. Everything is always delicious and even my picky eater destroys pizza from here and that means it's a keeper. What makes them so good to me? They have a great ratio of sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and sausage. The meats are also not salty which is something that I experience a lot. The thing that gets me the most is the garlic crust. So well cooked and flavorful. I am from NY and I have high standards for my pizza and it took me 6 years to find somewhere I would order again from and its here. The inside is very simple. Has a couple of tables and set of chairs so you can eat there or sit while you wait. The staff has always been great on the phone and in person and they are super kind to my toddlers and acknowledge them and their excitement. Overall, I am highly impressed and happy with it here and they will have me as a customer for life. read more

The workers are very friendly and the pizza and wings are very good but very disappointed in their sandwiches, the sandwiches are 90% bread and nothing special, you could easily make a better sandwich at home. Summary: DO NOT RECOMMEND. Probably the worst customer service I've ever encountered. My delivery order was supposed to take 30-40 minutes to arrive... fine, maybe they're having a busy Wednesday... when it doesn't show up in an hour, and then an hour twenty, I get concerned. I'm thinking my food will be cold if it ever arrives. I call the shop and they tell me the driver couldn't find my house (GPS?? I went here to order take out for lunch. The guy working behind the counter was so soft spoken it was hard to understand what he was saying. I ordered spaghetti with meatballs. It came with 4 meatballs & 2 slices of garlic toast. The bread was ok, not the best. The spaghetti was good but the meatballs had a strange flavor tasted frozen & not like beef, but turkey or chicken. I really didn't like them. The menu advertises a drink with the meal & I asked if the drink was included but was told "no." I also ordered a torpedo sandwich. The bread was thick & soft.
