I placed an order on door dash and 30 mins later my dasher was picking up my order and then my order was cancelled by the merchant. Doordash called me to tell me my order was cancelled but they didnt know why. So i called thhis place and was told by an extremely rude man that they are busy, so they are cancelling all the online and app orders because they are too busy. Door dash says it will 3 to 4 business days for me to get a refund for this. So you can order from them but you may just be out money and have no food. HORRIBLE BUSINESS. HORRIBLY RUDE STAFF. This place was fine. I saw the photo of their wall and when I called asked about the $7.99 pizza special and he said it was an $8.99 special. I said ok, got two, showed up and it still said $7.99 on the wall but a little paper taped up said "lunch only in-store". It was lunchtime and all their chairs and tables were up because of the COVID so... Also asked for a side of marinara for my Philly cheesesteak and he charged me extra for a little taco-shop-to-go-salsa, jello-shot-sized sauce. Also, didn't offer me the posted $8.99 cheesesteak, fries, can of soda lunch deal when I ordered my cheesesteak. I didn't take my receipt so idk what I was charged for just the sandwich. I'm from Philly and was hoping to get lucky with the cheesesteak; I didn't, it wasn't good. Closer to a roast beef sandwich than a cheesesteak. The pizza was about on par with any other in the area; just go to Costco, tbh (or Giant NY Pizza, if you want NY/Jersey/Philly style). I'm not gonna yell at the guy over $2.50, I get times are tough so I'm giving a benefit-of-the-doubt 4th Star, but this definitely was my first and last time there. read more

OK, the last four times I have ordered pizza from this place it has been on time and you get a free soda, Great, but.... expensive to begin with, no taste, no sauce...etc, everything is a add on. I can never go wrong with Fox's pizza. It's amazing each time. Today I dared to try something new on their menu besides their pizza and mozzarella sticks (which I toddler and I can't get enough of) I ordered my other personal favorite meal... a gyro sandwich! I was not disappointed! I'm going to modest and say it did have a lot of meat for my preference but some people prefer that. I guess to much meat makes the pita heavier which cause it to split but that's no biggie! I will definitely be ordering a gyro from Fox's again when I need my fix! read more

My husband and I are new to the area and we're looking up pizza shops in Santee. We almost didn't come here based off of the few bad reviews but we went ahead and gave it a shot and I'm so glad we did. We got a pizza and Jalapeño poppers and it was soo good! We get poppers almost everywhere we go that has it on the menu and I'd have to say these were the best yet. Brian helped my husband out today he was friendly. Great food and customer service. Completely unsanitary conditions. I would like to give zero stars. 4 days ago the woman preparing my sandwiches had no mask on, so I asked her to please put one on. She said it was too hot to wear a mask. I told her that I was uncomfortable with her preparing my food without one. Then I got the "eye roll" and attitude as I watched her grab a used mask from a shelf above the food prep area. She made a big deal of putting it on, touching the dirty mask, her hair, her nose, and her ears. Then without washing her hands, she went straight to where they keep the bread and pulled new bread out with those dirty hands. At that point, I was completely disgusted and cancelled my order. As I was leaving, I watched her put that contaminated bread right back with their fresh bread. So later on, I called and asked to speak to the owner. I figured I'd give him a chance to correct the situation first. I was not allowed to speak to the owner, but a man who identified himself as the manager came on the line. He was extremely hostile to me and said, "You have no reason to make any complaints because you cancelled your order!" Seriously? I cancelled my order because of unsanitary conditions! Even without Covid, her actions violated normal health codes regarding hand washing. If they do that right in front of customers, who knows how unsanitary they are with nobody watching. I had left my number for the owner to call me back. He never did. So I called the store again today and asked for the owner. I got the same "manager" who started yelling at me again, saying that since I cancelled the order, I had no right to complain, and that the owner is too busy to call me back. The thing is, I really liked their food, and was trying to give the new owner a chance to make things right. I guess that's not going to happen. Sad. read more

Was excited to try this place based on good reviews but was very disappointed. I ordered it for delivery and it arrived almost an hour later. It had a burnt taste and the bottom of the crust was almost black and very ashy tasting in certain spots. It seemed like the pizza had potential but was just overcooked too long. Outstanding pizza! I'm a chef, and pretty damn picky. Notches above the previous owners. The secret is in the red sauce and cheese blend they must be using. They got the oven temperature right, which the previous owners had it set too high. Highly recommend if you're hankering for a really good pizza. Figured I'd give it another try and attempted to call in an order for a sandwich special which according to their page comes with a drink and fries.
