I love Filippi's. I don't get to this location too often but today was fantastic. It was not busy and we were seated right away. Our waitress was so friendly and warm. I felt completely comfortable. Of course you'll always have the Chianti bottles hanging everywhere at a Filippi's, along with the red and white tablecloths. I always get lasagna and this time I got it with meat ravioli and a meatball on the side. All of it was delicious, but the lasagna steals the show for me every time. Best lasagna on the planet. I love ricotta lol. And their meat sauce is so good. The meatball was giant and perfect. Exactly what I've come to expect from this establishment. The chicken parm was immense. I could not believe the size of this thing. AND it was amazing. Just enormous. Thank you. Leftovers! Yessss!

This place is great food, and it is worth a drive if you're looking for a place to eat, and you'll like Italian. I really enjoyed the anti pasta salad that I had tonight, I'm sure I'll try something else the next time, some of their meatballs, pasta, and some other goodies that I'm sure as good as a salad.

Real side in a Walmart bowl

Love the pizza don't get the antipasto salad 16.00 won't order again. Not worth it!!!!!

Here's the dressing they charged 2 bucks

This place has got pizza but pricey food it's been expensive since Covid I haven't been here in a while usually the staff is mehh. When I go to this location I always hope they have new waitresses but that's never the case. Every time I order a salad they never give me enough salad dressing. By the way this is the only filippis who doesn't give enough salad dressing for an anti pasta. Now from my understanding the ani pasta feeds 2 right? So why you pull shyst on the dressing? The other Filippi's gives you more dressing . Anyways when I get charged for extra salad dressing don't be surprised it comes out of your tip. Also the sodas are 4 bucks over here.

    Half order lasagna and meatball.

Our family went here for dinner and then joined the Karoake singing in the bar area afterwards. Service was awesome, food is delicious as always, portions are (omg) huge! All in all, we've been to the other locations and this one was our first time. Well worth it! Will return again. Thank you Filippi's staff for making our visit so enjoyable!

What an excellent surprise today. We were getting our car fixed and walked to Filippi's. I'm used to walking by the Little Italy location and forgot they have other locations. One word: old school. From the red gingham tablecloths to the bright Color bread baskets, and why mess w a good thing. We enjoyed a torpedo, soup, and salad lunch special. Everything was spot on and very fresh, as was our server, Cheryl. Please stop by and say hello; she's been there for 14 years With 50s music playing and tasty lunch specials, what else is there? Oh, and they have a full bar, so my next trip will include a cocktail to go with my slice.

Tucked away off the main road, this place feels quiet, intimate, and incredibly charming, with dark walls, candlelight, and wine bottles lining the walls. We arrived at an off hour around 5 PM, so it was especially peaceful. The menu is simple and straightforward, with a generously curated wine list to match. We ordered the Lemon Ricotta Crab Dip with a delicious house baguette ($19) and the Pepperoni Focaccia Slab ($17), and everything was fantastic. The ambiance, the food, the wine--it all came together perfectly. The gray sky at sunset somehow made the whole experience feel even more atmospheric and intimate. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list, and happy to talk about the surrounding area. I will absolutely make a point to stop by again if I am ever back in Temecula.

We happened to be there when it started raining, and honestly, it made the experience even more fabulous. Sitting surrounded by the trees with the rain coming down felt so cozy and romantic. I'm usually a Sauvignon Blanc girl, but they didn't have it on the menu. Our server was so nice and attentive and recommended a wine that was similar to what I normally enjoy. I really appreciated that she took the time to understand what I liked instead of simply choosing something for us and her recommendation was lovely. The food is more about beautiful little bites designed to pair with the wine, rather than large portions. The toast was crispy golden bread served with a creamy, herby spread and bright orange salmon roe.The colors, textures, and presentation were absolutely beautiful. The combination of wine, small bites, attentive service, trees, and the rain falling around us created such a memorable experience. It's a small space, but it has so much character and charm. Definitely a place for slowing down, enjoying good wine, sharing beautiful bites, and taking in the atmosphere.

On the wine front, Gata absolutely delivers. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, and it's the kind of place where one glass quickly turns into two because there are simply too many interesting options to pass up. Unfortunately, the food didn't come close to matching either the quality of the wine program or the price point. We ordered the deviled eggs, which turned out to be hard-boiled eggs sliced in half with a piece of ham placed on top. When you order deviled eggs, you generally expect, well... the eggs to actually be deviled. We mentioned our disappointment to the bartender, who was wonderful, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable to talk with. The explanation was that this is simply their interpretation of deviled eggs. Fair enough, but it wasn't an interpretation that worked for us. Ironically, the standout dish of the evening was the pigs in blankets, which is not a sentence I ever expected to write about an upscale wine bar. They were delicious, but they also raised the question of why the rest of the menu wasn't reaching the same level. Looking back, we realized we were the only people actually eating while everyone else was there for the wine. In hindsight, that should have been the clue. I only wish someone had mentioned that before we made the trip over expecting a tapas experience. Gata has so much potential. The atmosphere is lovely, the wine selection is excellent, and the staff were fantastic. If the small plates eventually rise to the level of the wine program, this place could be truly special. Until then, I'd absolutely recommend it for drinks, but probably not for dinner.
