And Aaron was extremely responsive and prompt in coming to fix a few issues we noticed once we moved in and saw them in action.

Paragon Insulation has done an excellent job for me twice this year. The first time in January, I…read morehad Randy come out to quote attic sealing and insulation. While he was there to provide the quote, he noticed the kitchen floor was really cold (he took off his shoes when he entered the house). He pulled out his thermal camera and we saw the floor was 30-40F! I had noticed that area of the kitchen was cold in winter, but didn't realize it was coming from the floor, where kitchen is cantilevered out past the foundation wall. He proposed insulating the cantilevered area with spray foam, and then said he could insulate all the rim joists in the basement for the same price. A week or so later, while he was onsite doing the insulating, I mentioned I was going to finish the basement later in the year, and expected to use 3 inch foam panels. He suggested using spray foam instead since that would give me a few inches more space in the room. He gave me a price and I said I'd think about it. As I thought about it, I realized getting a few more inches in the room, and also getting a better sealing product would be worth it, and would save me many hours of labor and a lot of material costs. In summer, I started work on the basement project, and once I had the framing up and electrical roughed in, I called (now July) to schedule the spray foam. Randy honored the price from January, scheduled the job quickly, and it looks great! Something I especially appreciate about Randy and Paragon is that the guy who quotes the job actually does the job; it's not some sales guy, it's the owner who quotes AND does the work! Because of that, any questions get answered and you know exactly who is accountable for quality and completion. I did get other quotes for the attic, and Paragon was very competitive. I really appreciated Randy's suggestions, and they did not feel like a sales pitch; it felt like I was getting good options to consider that would solve a problem I had.

Nobody enjoys pouring money into the parts of their home they never see -- attics, crawl spaces,…read moreand the like. But when those areas need attention, it's essential that the work is done right and by someone you can trust. Randy and the team at Paragon Insulation & Services delivered an experience I'd recommend to anyone. My attic was poorly ventilated -- damp, musty, and overdue for attention. After deciding to bring in a professional, Randy came out to my home, thoroughly assessed the problem areas, and put together a detailed quote on the spot. The scope of work included removal of the existing insulation, air sealing around all attic entry points, sanitizing, air baffle installation, and installation of new Weather Blanket cellulose insulation. The new cellulose achieves an R-value that meets or exceeds Illinois code requirements. Paragon's pricing was competitive, though admittedly a bit higher than some of the larger corporate outfits. What made the difference was Randy's willingness to walk me through the entire plan and clearly explain what justified the investment. That transparency, combined with the comfort of working with a local, owner-operated business, made the decision easy. The crew came in and completed the job in about half a day -- fast, efficient, and clean. The entire process was documented with photos and videos, all of which were included with the final invoice. While up in the attic, they even took the time to correct some substandard work a prior contractor had left behind on my bathroom exhaust fans. I couldn't be happier with the results. I've already noticed a meaningful improvement in temperature consistency and overall comfort throughout my home. If you're looking for a trustworthy, professional insulation contractor, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Paragon Insulation & Services.

He took my money, had a couple guys do some pounding on my roof, put on some vent covers, didn't complete half of what was to be done, and never returned as he said he would. I'm not sure what his basis is for who he treats properly and who he doesn't but I absolutely would not recommend his services. Every piece of my gutter he replaced, still leaks and the gutters overflow worse than they did before he touched them. I reached out to him and received an excuse about him having health issues. He said he'd be back out to resolve the issues. That was March 2nd, 2026. I haven't seen Bob, but I do see posts stating he's been working on other homes. The disrespect is amazing. It's a good thing I have all of our text messages saved because this guy robbed me. Don't believe these reviews. I don't know who's writing them but I can't imagine receiving topnotch service from a guy who didn't resolve any issues and ran away with a woman's money. There's also an animal still living in my attic. The BBB and court is next. I want my money back. If he thinks I'm going to keep reminding him to do his job, he has another thing coming. Oh, and to this day - there's still a trap on the top of my house. It's been there for 6 months. I'll upload pictures and text messages when I get time.

That is poor business acumen, therefore I would be hesitant to hire this company. The least you can do is let inquiring party know that you're either too busy or don't want to take on the job for whatever reason. You're wasting people's time otherwise.

The…read morework took place in June and we were very pleased with the appearance and functioning of our new shower. However, as we headed into colder months, the water lines to a lavatory in an adjacent room froze-up on two occasions. This had never happened in the 45 years we lived here. To the credit of the shower installer, he got in contact with an insulation contractor that could remedy the freezing problem. The shower installer and I discussed a few ways we thought the problem could be solved. When RevFoam Insulation arrived at our house, at the scheduled time, Julian reviewed our suggested solutions and diplomatically dismissed these as not being the proper way to solve the problem. As Julian put it, he would not be able to sleep at night knowing our suggested solution would not guarantee the insulation was installed in the right location to protect the water piping. Based on his thirty-two years experience in the insulation business, I wisely stood back and watched while he and Omar proceeded to solve the freezing problem the right way. First, they removed a few sections of the existing vinyl soffit panels. They then cut an opening in the original plywood soffit and removed and disposed of the existing fiberglass insulation. After this was accomplished, they set-up a sheet vinyl screen for protection from the wind and to protect adjacent surfaces. The actual insulation installation involved spraying expansive foam material into the void areas above the soffit, under the shower receptor in the bathroom. After the insulation was completed, they put back the plywood soffit and the vinyl panels. Finally, they cleaned-up and removed all debris, leaving the area exactly as it was before the work began. The work performed by RevFoam solved the water line freeze problem, as temperatures dropped below zero degrees a few nights in a row since the work was completed. If you have a project requiring expert knowledge and state-of-the-art insulation, I strongly recommend contacting RevFoam.
