Falling behind on this, I was pushing late Nov to get new insulation installed and panicking as temps dropped daily. Robert / Attic Air were booked through the end of the year but they found time to fit me in for 800 sq ft (I think by working an unscheduled vacation Sat morning). They did a great job! They use the Owens Corning fiberglass, non-toxic and clean! Did not try to push or upsell me. Didn't push the toxic cellulose (don't want toxic pesticide saturated paper in my attic, we breadth that air!). They are pros and they do insulation very well!

Like I was initially set on getting cellulose for my attic, but Jim pointed out some limitations given the age and construction of my home (condo built in the 1970s). He mentioned examples of older places with cellulose developing issues like sagging ceilings. No other assessor mentioned this, so deciding to work with Jim was an easy choice. He was honest and only recommended what worked best for my situation. As of writing this review, it's been over 2 weeks since his crew came and completed both air sealing and insulation. Before, my second floor would always had a 4 to 5 degree temperature difference from my main floor. Since their work, there is no significant difference.
