    Dog friendly patio

What a great find! We had excellent service here and the food was fantastic. There's also a dog park located in the parking lot and a dog-friendly patio, so you can wear out your pup and then bring him over for lunch. It's also right along a walking trail, so it's great for people watching. My sole complaint is that they allow smoking on the patio. This is a bummer for two reasons. First, ew, smoking. And second, because they allow smoking, children cannot be on the patio. We were traveling with a dog, so I had to sit on the patio with the dog while my husband sat inside with our kiddo.

Cute local spot with great food! Great dinner spot downtown Kokomo with easy parking and friendly servers. They offer several seating types and a bar only area for 21+. Drinks are all reasonably priced (cocktails for under $6!) though we didn't try any this visit. We split a prime rib and the grouper between 3 adults (4 sides total) and it was MORE than enough food (leftovers for sure). The prime rib was medium rare and tender and juicy! It came with green beans which we weren't expecting but were delicious (doctored up with bacon and all). The grouper was light and flaky and a huge portion! Overall a great dinner spot that's worth checking out!

Very good breaded tenderloin and grouper sandwich. Neat ambience. Nice outside seating and view of park.

We came here on a Wednesday afternoon and we're pleasantly surprised as soon as we walked in the door. It is one of the coolest bars I've ever seen. It is totally circular and made out of gorgeous wood surrounded by high rock walls. I'm guessing that building used to be an old factory or something, it was just beautiful inside. For lunchtime, the lighting was quite dim which I didn't care for but I was at least able to read the menu. We settled on hot pepper cheese balls for an appetizer and my husband got their breaded tenderloin and I got their roast beef sandwich with au jus. The cheese balls tasted like a denser cheddar cheese/ jalapeno cheese, not just a hot pepper cheese curd. The coating was rather dense and tough though, which if it had been lighter it would be more pleasant to eat. It came with their homemade ranch dressing for dipping and it was awesome! The breaded tenderloin was so big, for the first time ever, my husband had to take part of it home to eat later. It came with circular "fries" that were just the right combo of crunch and pillowly softness inside. I got a side salad with my sandwich and it was huge for a side salad. Came with tomatoes, onion and shredded cheese. I got the blue cheese dressing and it was so good! My sandwich was super flavorful and the bun was nice and soft, the au jus is was delicious! I took half of it home for lunch the next day and it was just as good warmed up. Our server was sweet and helpful and despite the fact she was super busy, we never felt neglected. Next time we pass through Kokomo, we are definitely coming here again! (By the way, they had drunk menu's at the table and I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably they were priced, even though I never ordered one).

The establishment is old and has dark wood from top to bottom, covered in Irish decor. We sat in a secluded area that honestly felt like we were on a boat. I got a Guiness on draft (because you HAVE to when you're at an Irish bar, right?). It was smooth and frothy. We got the pretzel bites and beer cheese (really good) and fried pickles. I got a french dip sandwich - which was on soft toast which made it really hard to dip in the au juis with fries (which were really cripsy and flavorful). Honestly, I've had better dip sandwiches so I wouldn't get it again however they have a very large menu and lots of Irish favorites. Will go back to the establishment for something else. Street parking- didn't see any private flat lot however there is a parking garage about a block away available. Service was good, no complaints.

The bartender Brenda was awesome super friendly and was busting her butt. I got an old fashioned which was very good. I ordered the Shepherds Pie (half order) and it was very good. On the side I got McDoogal balls which were unique but they were good as well. I end the night with an excellent Irish Coffee. Greta value and good food. Definitely would go back and recommend you try it as well.

Quaint place, seemed to be a favorite of senior locals, and ultimately I found it pretty good. I'd need another menu test runner two to bump it to five stars but worth a try if you're visiting Kokomo.

I have to wonder if it had been sitting for a bit after it was made. When my nachos got to my table, it was actually cold. The "melted" cheese had solidified. When I had brought this to the attention of our server she did say that her manager had mentioned something about that before the nachos were served. Okay. So if a MANAGER had noticed then why serve it at all? I just don't understand... but they did rectify the situation. Once I did get my nachos the way they should've been to begin with, they were delicious. We also ordered Fried Green Tomatoes. I LOVE FRIED GREEN TOMATOES and theirs is super good. Jalapeño Corn Chowder also yummy. (The chowder was the only item served hot.) The Voodoo Pasta and the Drunken Chicken also good. I would totally stop again if needs be. The server was sweet and kind. The bathrooms were clean and there is a lot for parking.

I counted five booths and five counter stools that stayed full during our visit. The staff (a couple) are salt-of-the-earth sweet and hustle to keep orders coming. They know the regulars by name and cajole about family. The menu offers breakfast or lunch, with tenderloins as the featured items. Prices are inexpensive. Food comes out quickly. The tenderloins are premade and frozen. They are thin and the breading is flavorful. I had the daily special, a Tenderloin Manhattan which came with green beans and mashed potatoes. This was pure comfort food. The potatoes and tenderloin were good, but the gravy was over salty for me. My husband had the tenderloin sandwich with fries. The tenderloin was ok and the fries were really hot and good. An article on the wall indicated that Artie, the original owner, passed away in an auto accident in 1954. A local business award plaque hung above our table. I'm not sure that the shop is A.D.A. compliant as there are steps at the front door and the aisle is very narrow. There may be a ramp at a rear entrance, I couldn't tell. We found free street parking on an adjacent street. I give the place high marks on character and I love the service. The food is ok.

It was very tasty with the tenderloin you can taste that it's pork not a fried cracker. I will certainly get one next time. It's honestly the way to go..
