I've lived here for over 5 years. Yes I am going to tell you the bad. Yes I know I live here and I'm complaining. Its a roof right. So here we go. Cockroaches twice, the first time there was a note and they checked all the apartments after i called. The second time i found out that they already sprayed someone elses place on my floor but didnt tell anyone that there was Cockroaches. There is mold in the walls, and they just cover it up with sheetrock. They dont put much effort into fixing things for the long run. Its a temporary fix. Atleast once a month they turn off the water without telli g anyone. You cant tell me there is an emergency that often. People from other buildings park where it is made for the other buildings parking. The laundry room machines never work. People's dogs shit everywhere outside, one dog that's deaf runs around not on a leash and almost gets hit by cars. Someone did work on their car in parking lot and I reported it they did nothing and they ended up getting spray paint splatter on side of my car. They are trying to update and make things look nicer I give them that. But I think they should definitely make some changes. Assign parking spots, actually fixing the issues. read more

PLEASE READ REVIEWS OF KEYSTONE BEFORE YOU RENT! My family lived in a Keystone apartment for 3 years and it was the WORST decision of our lives. We wish we had read these reviews or someone had given us the heads up to not rent from them. Every maintenance issue was a battle and then if we needed something done more then once they threatened to charge us. Our neighbor next to us was smoking pot and we sent 2 years of complaints and evidence to management. FINALLY got told the problem was going to be handled and it wasn't. He's still living here and still smoking pot. We then tried to resolve the issue by moving to the open unit above us where there is a family of 5 on the other side of one of our walls. All I hear all day is her screaming, threatening and using harsh/inappropriate language on her young kids. We had an issue of bugs appearing on our carpet ALL the time- they did nothing. An animal got in our wall somehow and again they did nothing! It always smells of cigarette smoke. There was a huge bee issue in the apartment and our newborn almost got stung- again, they did nothing. You will not always have a place to park as tenants allow their guests to park in residents spots. There are motorcycles and loud cars of current tenants that will wake you up in the middle of the night. A tree fell into our building! yes-you read that correctly. There is always trash all around the complex. Cops have been to the complex countless number of times. The apartments are cheap and mold grows behind surfaces. Keystone will make your life a living disaster if you have ANY issues. They are lazy, full of excuses and if you're lucky if they do the bare minimum. They do not follow their own lease and do not hold tenants accountable for their end either. I know the price is a little lower, utilities are included and it "looks nice" but dont be fooled, it's definitely NOT WORTH IT!!! You will never have a quiet living space and peace of mind when you're here. read more

I've been renting from Keystone for close to three years. My rent is currently $840/month for a two bedroom, single bathroom apartment. I'm not necessarily pleased with my experience at this apartment complex ("The Pines"), located right next to their office. Let me tell you about my home. This building appears to have been constructed in 1985, and they don't seem to update anything until a new replacement is absolutely necessary. My AC unit dramatically increased my electric bill (250% increase one month), so I gave up on that pretty quickly. The year on it? 1985. It's certainly not an efficient machine. My refrigerator was manufactured in November of 2002. Dishwasher model # is Kenmore 363.14038001. I can't find much information online about this, but it's rusty, slow, and loud. Certainly old and very inefficient. The bathroom counter and medicine cabinet look to be original. There is a small amount of rust, chips missing out of particle board, and it's very yellowy overall. The medicine cabinet is also small, and sits low enough that I have to bend down a little bit in order to see my face while shaving (I'm 5'11", slightly tall but no giant). The carpet seems worn. Even the heater vents have seen better days. The sliding screen door for the balcony doesn't slide well and constantly falls off the tracks. My bedroom closet doors have come off the tracks and won't go back in (although I prefer them off, so I just set them aside)... It just feels dingy in here. This truly is a bare-bones apartment. The hallways are depressing. Doors slam everywhere because they do not have door closers. Lights go out and take forever to get fixed. One window has been missing a screen the entire time I've lived here, so that area of hallway is buggy during the summer. The walls really need to be repainted, as the white paint is very dirty and worn. The floors are rarely vacuumed/mopped. Sections of hallway regularly smell like whatever people are smoking. It's also very hot all the time, as there is no circulation. It's just a miserable walk to my third floor apartment. I occasionally hear critters running around above me in the ceiling. Maybe it's time to set up some traps? Find out where they're getting in? Outside, nobody knows how to park. I wish we had assigned spots of some sort, because I never know where I'll be stuck squeezing into when I get home at night. I'm sometimes far away from my building. Certain areas could use some fresh lines, because the old ones are completely gone. It's a free-for-all over there. I will be moving out when my lease runs up just after Thanksgiving. read more

Horrible. Roaches, mold, outdated, nothing is ever fixed. The staff, especially one named Carrie is a nasty fat little piece of work. Horrible attitude, very rude, thinks she's all that. I wouldn't live here again ever. They couldn't pay me enough. They make promises and never follow through. The head chick just laughs if you make a complaint. At the beginning of the summer, our trash collector accidentally cracked our trash bin in half. Since then we've been reaching out to Keystone Management to for a replacement. We've reached out at least 4 times, every time they told us they have ordered one but hasn't been delivered yet. On the 29th, my boyfriend went over to the office in Orono to get an ETA on the new bin and was told they recently switched trash companies and "it's hard to get around this time of year". I'm not sure what that even means because we started asking at the beginning of the summer....She then told my boyfriend she will get to it as soon as possible - that was Monday...it's now Wednesday and we still do not have a trash bin and trash is just accumulating in the house. Keystone Management do not care for their tenants and their employees are not friendly nor helpful. I do not recommend them at all. read more

Love this place in Hillsborough NH ! Chris the property manager is the Best , always there when needed , kind , courteous and able to fix anything ! This guy is the Best at his job . I moved into one of their units in Wilmington Nc. back in 2015 Signed a one year lease, and at the end of that year hadn't been issues a renewal, when it did arrive it was 3 months late (Changing the end date of the new lease, and not accounting for the 3 months we were already in on the new year.) That is their scam.. After a second late renewal a year later we were behind 6 months on our lease dates when 3 years were up.. They will extend your rental or force you to pay $360 more per year to go monthly, your last option is to move out when the lease ends, but I've heard that they will charge you fees for that 3 months they were late renewing you since you were staying outside of a lease. They are crooked, when they take over a decent complex they immediately switch it to section 8. We had decent neighbors when we moved in in 2015, by 2018 there had been 4 neighborhood shooting incidents. (Fortunately no fatalities). And there was prostitution and drug deals taking place in the parking lots. In the 3 years we were there they replaced their office staff 4 times. they can't keep people employed with them. Do not rent from this company.. We were there 36 months, signed 3 leases, and paid our rent on time., because of their paperwork lateness at the end of the 36 months we agreed to pay them for we still owed them 6 months on lease because of them being late on renewal twice.. Since I bought a house and moved at the end of my 3rd year.. and because of their crooked term extension they charged a 2 month rent termination fee. read more

I am looking into renting an apt and a lot of real estate is owned by Keystone, so I asked around about them and multiple people had negative things to say. My friend left her trash outside her door before work, and came home 8 hours later to an eviction notice on her door because of the trash bag. Trying to get ahold of Keystone is like pulling teeth. You're either playing phone tag with them, or they don't call you back at all. I've been told they scam you to get more money out of you. I wish I could give this management company 0 stars to be quite honest because that is what it deserves. The management is extremely rude and unprofessional. The floors are EXTREMELY thin, so whenever my 2 year walks or runs it goes right through the floors and the downstairs neighbors can hear it. Well, the managements solution when they called to make a noise complaint was to tell them to call the COPS on my 2 year old running. We were told by management that my 2 year old making noise was unacceptable and wouldn't be tolerated. My neighbors were constantly banging on their ceiling whenever they thought my 2 year was being too loud and the management was completely fine with them doing that. I would also like to add 5 months before this we were living elsewhere on second floor apartment for two years and never got ONE noise complaint. We are extremely quiet people and these people are treating my 2 year old like he is a criminal for walking around his own house because they can't afford to put better floors in their old ass apartments. I do NOT recommend renting from Keystone Management, especially the complex at 77 Rush Road.The people there are rude and it is NOT kid friendly. On 02/18/2016 at approximately 7:00 PM while leaving for work, I noticed a piece of paper fall out of my door. Upon reading the paper I was surprised to see that it was an eviction notice. This notice claims that a demand to rent was served upon me on February 17 2015. This is untrue as the only demand for rent I have received was attached to said eviction notice. The following day I went to see the property manager. I was informed that he could not do anything about it and I would have to call the concord office. I called the office on Monday 02/22/2106, and left a message and have yet to receive a response. On 02/21/2016 while returning home from work, I noticed a piece of mail in my box from Keystone. It was the ledger stating all my rent charges and payments. I noticed that on 01/01/2015 there was a Corrected Rent charge of $25.00. I assume based on the remaining Rent Charges being $675 that my rent was raised by $25. The issue I have with this is, I was never informed and I continued to pay the $650 I thought was my rent for over a year before being informed that my rent had been raised. I have also been charged Seven (7) late fee charges of $33.75. I feel that the eviction notice was not necessary or fair given the severe lack of communication about the issue for over a year. According to RSA 540:2 the landlord must provide the tenant with written notice of the amount and effective date of a rent increase 30 days prior to the increase. As I have never been in possession of any such notice, I currently owe nothing for rent. read more

Awful company. Don't feel protected with a lease. This company marches to the beat of their own drum and will break the legal contract whenever they see fit. We moved out, never signed another lease after having enough of the apartment. Keystone continued to charge us rent when we didn't live there, no lease and it clearly states in their lease that when lease is up occupancy is terminated unless a new one is signed. They just keep tacking on rent and late fees now and I've been out for months. Straight up crooks. Pursuing legal action. While Keystone is a monopoly landlord around the NH area, avoid at all costs. You will save yourself a lot of money in the long run. Oh and be careful they will come in your apartment and throw out your belongings too. Can't make that one up! read more
