I had the catfish platter. There was more breading than catfish. I also ordered a top shelf margarita. There was a lot of mix in the drink. My husband said his food was soso. I ventured in for a weekday afternoon burger. The atmosphere is best described as clinical. A lot of grey and white. And some uniquely photoshopped sports art work. I ordered a garden salad and cheeseburger with fries. You need to specify if you want the salad first. It came out with the burger and fries. It's a pricey salad too - $8.95. It's not a small side-salad, but bot substantial enough for the price. All I really wanted was a side salad but didn't see it on the menu. The burger was decent, nothing exceptional, though the bun was a little dry. The waitress didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. It arrived between medium and medium-well. Food - We had the Black Bean Nachos and the chips and dip. Loved both very much and we consumed it all. Wish the homemade chips were warm. Cold chips just don't do it. But the dips were fantastic minus the guacamole. Atmosphere - something is not right. We couldn't put our finger on it. It's sterile. And Purple. Sort of a modern diner feel. I love diners however this is a sports bar.?.? The bar stools are an awful choice. Very uncomfortable. We left because we couldn't take sitting anymore. Get chairs with backs on them if you want people to linger and drink. Outdoor seating - we were afraid to try it as the chairs look like they would collapse under any amount of weight. We do love outdoor seating at a bar though. Beer - VERY COLD and this is a big deal for me. I hate bars that do not have beer properly chilled. Service - VERY GOOD. Waitress was wonderful and always right there when we needed her. We'll probably go back now and then but it won't replace our regular place down the street. The only reason I gave one star is because Yelp won't accept a review with zero stars. Not sure how anyone has given this place a good review unless they didn't order anything to eat. Honestly the worst food we have eaten in a long time. We ordered it to go and starting eating within 10 minutes of pick up. We also waited 15 minutes to receive the food so it wasn't that it sat awhile before we picked it up. The shrimp tacos had three tiny cocktail shrimps that were covered in hard, crusted breading with some old cabbage thrown in. The wings were tough, over cooked, and so spicy you could hardly eat them (and we like spicy)the other food we ordered was all just as bad. 5 people, 5 different entrees and all was disgusting. We've never been so compelled to go straight to Yelp after throwing away dinner. Beyond gross. read more

The restaurant was empty - just a few people at the bar watching football and dropping f bombs at the TV. The food was awful - none of our six meals (all different) were any good. Owner is attentive and welcoming. The food is WAY beyond what you would expect 'bar food' to be. Very delicious! The atmosphere is confusing, and a little stark but could be worked with. I tend to agree that the seating is not too comfortable if you want to stay for the game, but it's no worse than other similarly themed bars. As for the staff: I am writing from a perspective that I enjoy the upbeat friendly attitudes of this type of bar. I think the confidence of the girls plays a very strong role in the success or failure of this kind of establishment. In the beginning, the girls were fresh faced and all adorable, but seemed uncomfortable in the environment. Now lately, the girls are VERY confident and have improved their service to be very efficient and just near PERfect, but they don't have the sports bar girl theme going on any longer. In other words, they are not in the uniforms that they started out with. :( In summary: The food is VERY good! The staff is very efficient and will not disappoint you! The owner is professional and does a really nice job! The atmosphere needs work and I think keeps people away. The pricing is good on drinks, and a tiny bit pricy on entrees (for a bar), but by the same token, the meals far exceed bar quality. The decision needs to be made if this is going to be a sports bar with the sexy girl theme, or a family type restaurant because as a customer I am becoming confused. read more

We LOVE Foxiis! Been going here since day one, and it's only gotten better. If you're from around here, and Boomerjacks is your regular place...trust me...Foxiis blows it out of the water! The entire restaurant has just been remodeled and it looks great. The food is delicious, and always cheap drinks!! The owner and waitresses are very attentive and friendly. A great place for the family, or for a girls/guys night out! All the food is made from scratch and they only use fresh ingredients. I went to Foxiis on a Thursday night during an NFL game. The place had plenty of great seats located within a lot of tv's to watch all the sporting events. They didn't play the audio of any of the tv screens just normal jukebox favorite music. The food was Okay hence the 2 Star review. The chicken wings that everyone raves about were ok on size. I liked the fact they are serve naked and sauced vs. battered and sauced. Flavors of the wings were as described and as I expected. I however was disappointed in the ranch and blue cheese dips that they came with. Very bland and very runny. If your gonna charge me $8 bucks for 8 drummies or flappers please at least give me some things that are supposed to make it worth while. The main dish I had was the Patty Melt. And yes it came out as the pictures as the other users posted. The taste however was very underseasoned. I specifically asked to the fries to be not burnt and not soggy, unfortunately they were both.? I really wanted this place to be a 4 star type place, especially since it's so close to my home. Paying my $28 bill with 8 wings,burger and 1 beer just wasn't worth it to me for the quality of food that was served. read more

Well run sports bar/restaurant with young female staff wearing tight outfits ;) Food is tasty and good portions; beer is reasonably priced. Good place to watch a game. Fancy cocktails ordered by female clientele are prepared and served by the young male managers/owners(?), who usually dress somewhat elegantly (nice touch). It is currently my favorite hang-out in Murphy. Interior is modern and light, which is a nice and welcome change. I would give it 5-stars if the staff were just a little sexier. That said, at least some of the bartenders are really outgoing and friendly. I will definitely be comming here regularly. Last Friday there were LOTS of people, but other days have been a little dead...just depends on when you go. I hope as word gets out about this place, it obtains more clientele...it definitely DESERVES to 'make it' as a long term business IMO. read more
