I have ordered this at multiple restaurants and have never been disappointed until now. Why did they mince the corned beef?? They turned it into dog food. Not only did it look unappetizing as a gooey blob off meat and tiny soft potatoes but it tased bad too. Don't order this. Everything else was fine, a little bland, but no complaints. This is nice little breakfast place perfect for families nearby. The atmosphere is that of an upscale diner. We arrived with a party of 5 around 9:30 on a Sunday. I understand that it can get crowded, but we were able to get seated right away. The menu is vast with a lot of options. There were lots of great egg and hash brown options on the menu which sounded wonderful. I was happy to see some healthier options as well. I ended up choosing the smoked salmon avocado toast. I thought the colors were nice and bright, especially with he fruit on the side. The portion was perfect, though I was unable to eat the full meal as it came with a side of two eggs. Coffee was good and service was great. My water and coffee were refilled regularly throughout the meal, which is one of my favorite things about going out for breakfast. Oh my goodness!! This was the absolute best decision for breakfast this morning! Everything was so delicious. The service was great and we were seated very quickly. Around 10am it started to get busier and there was a small wait but they are very quick to clean the tables and get you seated. Prices are also very fair for the amount of food you get. We had a party of 7, so the wait was about 30 minutes. Not too bad, considering. The food was sub-par. The corned beef has was weirdly greasy and dry - quite an accomplishment. The coffee was really watered down and my partner had a sweet tea that smelled like dirty dishwater. The saving grace was the cinnamon toast - it is literally so good! They have great biscuits and eggs, my brother in law had an amazing looking chicken fried steak. Stay away from the hash, coffee, and sweet tea and you'll be golden. The hash stack looked amazing, but the meats were a little chewy. The scrambled eggs were undercooked. I like runny eggs, but not scrambled, runny eggs. The buffalo chicken wrap was huge! The chicken in it was juicy and fresh out the oven. Our waitress was friendly. Service was very, very slow. It didn't help that we came straight from church and were very hangry. My family and I are regular customers and have generally had positive experiences here. However, during our most recent visit, we were seated and never received service. When a server eventually came by, her attitude was rude and unwelcoming when we mentioned possibly ordering takeout due to our schedule. We ultimately chose to leave. Went on Tuesday at 11am and zero wait time. I ordered the Very Berry French toast. It was really good and huge portion, may want to split this with someone. My friend ordered the traditional breakfast and her eggs were ordered 'soft scrambled' and they got it right ! My only downer for this visit was the cappuccino, I'm a cappuccino seasoned veteran. This cappuccino was bitter and I ended up adding half/half to cut down the bitter. Our waiter was very nice and attentive. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. We were seated pretty much as soon as we arrived (party of 4), but the service was far from good. I ordered the All Star Combo, and a side of hash browns; my siblings orders were the cinnamon pancakes, with a side of turkey bacon and breakfast sausage; the French combo, with a side of hash browns and fresh fruit; and finally, the Scrambler Scrambler, with a side of fresh fruit and hash browns. Our drinks were 2 coffees, 2 apple juices, 1 grapefruit juice, 1 Sprite, and 1 sweet tea; I'll explain why there are so many drinks for only 4 people soon. First off, our server was very uncoordinated, he brought us a water that we did not order and said "I don't know why I brought a water, oh well, someone is going to drink it anyway"-- no one drank the darn water. When it came time to order, we were not ready so we asked for a minute, they took 10. However, I'm not too upset about that one because the cafe was full. At one point, he took my utensils, but he forgot to replace them, so when all of my siblings were eating, I was waiting for a server to pass by so that I could ask for some utensils. Yea, that was not fun. So the main reason for such a low rating is that I found a spider in my coffee!! They took the drink away and I ordered an apple juice instead. I'm not sure who the manager is, but someone came out to apologize about the spider and gave us another menu item on the house. I was not all that impressed because I did not want more food, I wanted compensation for almost eating a freaking spider! Also, the food was very mediocre and overpriced, I could make all of the dishes better myself. The hash browns and meats were salty, and the eggs were bland, not to mention that the apple juice that costs $2.99 came in a small glass and tasted like it was store bought. I thought the meal was gonna be free or something; how could you let a customer come so close to eating a spider, and only offer a free entree that we did not ask for?? . Came through this place during a busy brunch time. While it was extremely full, the line seemed to move pretty fast, especially since it was just two people. The wait staff was very professional and efficient; they got people in and out but was still able to maintain good rapport with us. I got the chorizo skillet w/ scrambled eggs and pancakes. I don't know if I was just really hungry but everything was delicious. The chorizo provided a good salty punch to the dish, and the eggs, which were well-seasoned, provided a nice slightly creamy aspect to the dish (although I wished they were more lightly scrambled). I do wish the chorizo would've been more spicy but I guess you can just ask for hot sauce on the side. The hash itself was pretty tasty, although I do wish they would've gotten more of a crust on the potatoes. To me, there was not really a textural contrast in the dish, and the homogenity can be pretty boring if you're not into it. The pancakes were pretty middle of the road, but even middle of the the road pancakes are still really good to scarf down if you are hungry. Overall, a solid experience at a quick and casual brunch place! 4/5 stars! read more

We are a regular at Scrambler's Cafe in Murphy. The owners are friendly as well as the staff. My daughter LOVES their eggs benedict and often gets the smoked salmon one. My son is obsessed with their nutella and banana crepes. They come out so tasty. My husband is a meat fan and will get anything that has a ton of meat. His latest is the Meat Lovers Skillet. My favorite is the Avocado Lox Toast. They are not shy with the capers! The restaurant itself is clean and you can usually find parking (sometimes around the building).
