No hostess to seat us, we were told to find a place to sit, then everyone else got their drinks ordered and orders taken before we were even acknowledged. Waited 10 minutes and finally got our drink orders in then instead of getting our drinks the waitress took another tables order and then proceeded to put their order in even before getting our drinks. I went into Foxiis shortly after they opened, and to be plain... I wasn't impressed. The food wasn't bad, ok even (minus the fact that my chicken sandwich came with sliced chicken which caused it to keep falling apart), but the atmosphere was just bleh. It looked like they were trying to do an up-scale "chic" sports bar... but it just looked cheap. White, plasticky walls and bar, with big purple accents and a strip of mirror going all the way around... huh? You're in Murphy, Tx... The waitress was friendly, but the (assuming owners) were reserved and... awkward? There was a bus boy dressed in regular clothes that would sit on the customer side of the bar at the front and just play on his phone and get up and do something every once in a while... kind of odd (sit at a back table or something). The place also isn't very big, and they didn't have their umbrellas up on the patio for shade, which is where I would have liked to sit. Maybe they didn't want to serve out there. Just overall not a great feeling, which is unfortunate, because there are only 2 real local bars. Maybe I will give it another shot and see if they have improved the feel or the place, but not super confident. read more

What a disappointment... The atmosphere is extremely trendy and cold feeling, but not in a luxurious, modern kind of way - just feels cheap. The seating is uncomfortable and awkward. It is extremely loud from the 27 blaring HdTVs that are all on the same channel - whats the point? The food was mediocre at best - we had the chips & dips, wings, and 'wedge' salad (first mistake was the name - no iceberg and served with ranch dressing - um, that's not a wedge). I had a Patron margarita which was strong but made with a bar mix, not fresh. Prices weren't bad for the drinks, but all of the food was over-priced. We won't be back - too bad too - we could use a good go-to in Murphy! Oh, the only saving grace was the very sweet attentive server we had (Kendell) but it was clear that all the other servers were bored as they crowded together chatting with nothing else to do. read more

Have been here a couple of times before. Went here today and the place was empty. The decor is seriously uninviting and needs work. Doesn't really feel like a sports bar. Although there are a lot of TV's and there isn't a bad seat if your watching a game. Food was actually good. Chicken fried chicken gravy was really good and the mashed potatoes were real. Wife had the salmon and really enjoyed it along with the Mac & cheese. Service is ok. What they lack is some personality and conversation skills. Make a connection and you can win patrons for life. My wife and I were headed to Which Wich but closed at 9pm. So we ended up at Foxiis it was close and open. There were several people in the restaurant mainly the waiters from the nearby mexican restaurant. There was only one waitress and maybe the manager working that night. Service was good but since we didn't sit at the bar we were some what neglected. I had the boneless bites and my wife had mac and cheese with the bacon wrapped trio appetizer. All the food was good, not great, but not horrible. We also had queso to start it had great flavor but was way to thin. If you had a straw you would have been able to sip it. All in all the food was decent for a sports bar type atmosphere. The prices on the other hand were very high. I was shocked at the bill, especially for the quality and quantity. We would go back but it would be a last resort and definitely not a first pick. read more

Went on a Saturday evening - no wait- about 50% full. Staff was pleasant, but they were more concerned with standing outside smoking or chatting on their phones than is called for at 7 pm (not our waitress) - the hostesses were outside texting & smoking the majority of the time we were there. Chipotle raspberry Wings were good. Satay appetizer was HORRIBLE -tasted like it sat out for 3 days. Cost of alcohol/beer was very reasonable. Will give them the benefit of the doubt that they are just working out the new opening kinks, and will probably try again in a few months. Net/net : over priced food, undertrained staff; good value for "bar" aspect (Beer / alcohol) ~ they seem to have that backwards-- I'd rate higher if they charged a little more for the beer and less for the food. read more

This was our forth time at Foxies. Service is always good. This time the servers were attentive but not as friendly as usual. Not that big of deal to me, just a notable change. Drinks were good, food was very average. Had the burger. Ordered it medium rare. It was burnt on the outside, but the inside was pink as I expected. No seasoning or flavor in the meat. Somewhat disappointing. We'll be back. Hopefully the next thing we try in the menu will be a little more flavorful. read more

We had our first visit to Foxii's tonight and we were impressed! Service was great from when we first walked in the door. They quickly put together tables to accommodate our family of 6 and our waiter took very good care of us with the manager checking on us from time to time. We had the stuffed jalopenos to start that were wonderful and huge. The kids enjoyed the sliders and the bacon cheese fries while my wife said the rebuen was one of the best she's ever had. I had the fire cracker shrimp tacos and they were amazing. The menu says everything is cooked to order and the high quality of the food definitely reflects that. We will be making Foxii's a regular stop to eat and while we weren't in the bar area it looks like a great place to just grab a drink as well. read more

Decided to give Foxii's a try since they are dog friendly. I went during happy hour. I will start off by saying the customer service was really good. I decided to try a couple of happy hour appetizers today. The calimari breading was not quite cooked enough and we soft and not crunchy, this could be fixed. The marinara sauce didn't go too well with it but the spicy sweet Asian sauce was excellent. I would hesitate to order again because it wasn't fried long enough. I also had the Sliders, which were very dry and the bread was not soft, felt like I was eating more bread than anything else. The iced tea was one of the best I've had. Overall, I probably would not go back but I'm sure some of their entrees would be better. I spent 19.00 for this meal at happy hour prices, so compared to other restaurants in the area like Boomer Jacks or Chili's it was way over priced. When people go out to happy hour they are looking for better deals. read more

I get home, and it is not even what I had ordered! I call and they ask me to drive back (no way!). I asked for a refund, they provided lip service but never received it on my card. Let me start this off by stating this review is for the Firewheel Mall in Garland location. Today was your "grand opening" and everything was good until your own manger Luis gave me champagne glass... Then the 5 minute speech started. "Raise your glass, blah blah blah" then another five minutes later after the staff disappeared and had their toast. I'm sure if it wasn't for my smart ass comment after the bartender came back to apologise for taking a staff shot "well at least you got one, because I'm still sitting here with an empty glass" he asked who gave me the glass? Who the fucks cares? I told him the tall bald one. Anyways, don't forget the customers you have present over your Murphy regulars. After Luis came to fill up my glass, he filled up two wine glasses for the guy to my right and then left, my husband. Then to be followed by completely ignoring us and walking away. Let me completely bash you by telling you that you need to keep an eye on your restrooms. Keep your 12 pack of Charmin toilet paper stored away from our (customers) eye and keep your toilet dispenser stocked. This was your grand opening, you should have been kissing ass, greeting EVERYONE, talking to everyone. It was obvious that your favorites were there...grow from them and meet new customers we are the ones that matters. Your regulars can't go to both locations and keep both of your locations open. McKinney doesn't have a chance if this keeps up. read more

I would recommend the Texas Queso so anyone who has not found good queso yet, it was so good I wanted to take some home!
