This is one of the shops I travel well out of my way to visit, and I've never been disappointed. Also, he was friendly to me and two other people in there. The packaging on some things shows unnecessary wear, like, he's had it awhile and it's been stacked a lot. The sales team is very shady with their tactics. I wanted to buy a certain item. I asked them how…read moremany they had and they said 1 only. I bought the item and a day or two later they list another one at a higher price and won't honor the old price. Then I buy the item and a day or two later list another raising the price again. They claimed to only have 1 yet in the past 30 days I've ordered 7 of them and there's currently another one listed on their website. Of course they raised the price 10% after waiting 25 hours to post it on the site. And of course they can't price match it because it's not within 24 hours. (The fact that they took more than 24 hours to post it on their site doesn't matter) My account rep said they'd price match a price within the last 24 hours. They take 25-26 hours to post another item in stock to get around that price matching. Very sketchy and slimy sales team. Reflects poorly on the owners and the company as a whole. I gave them 2 stars simply because the shipping has been quick.

There is an ice cream and chocolate shop downstairs. Most comic books are $5. And then there a bins with special ones, saw ones in those bins $8-150. No AC as it's a super old building I think from the 1800s one of the last commercial storefronts. Has such charm. Very close to glen park. Can get ice cream then walk in the park to see the waterfall.

I've only been in here once (when I was checking out the awesome expo of local boutiques in this building), but will be back again. The comic book landscape is one which hasn't completely been taken over by Corporations so you can still get little family businesses like this one around the 585 and other regions, which is pretty delightful if you ask me.
