At entry was a small one-page sign showing featured Mother's Day "Specials" along with a festive bouquet of helium filled Mother's Day balloons greeting us on this special holiday. Everybody ordered with ease and I typed my phone number in at end of transaction at counter (the counter cashier/Barnstable is where one orders and pays) to earn my Loyalty Points on the transaction. Downtown Espresso still has the Unsweetened plant milk- Unsweet Almond Milk- I adore so I ordered it to be poured into my Iced Cortado FOR HERE. Yes, the order taker asks whether you want the order ToGo or For Here. We had it FOR HERE! Tasted so good and, as a Mother's Day surprise, an individually wrapped Peruvian Alfajore dulce de Leche (gourmet caramel sandwich cookie) was passed out to each lady. So tasty and elegant on Mother's Day. For anyone in the community unaware, the Peruvian restaurant two (2) doors away in this plaza is owned by same owner as Downtown Espresso café.
