Annie does a great job on all of dry cleaning but she outdid herself on a pair of pants my daughter spilled chocolate on. These were brand new light colored pants that looked like she sprayed them in chocolate. I wasn't there so I don't know exactly what happened ;-) I couldn't believe how good they looked when I picked them up. Annie said it took a lot of extra work and I believe her. When searing for a dry cleaner to clean my wedding dress for BEFORE my wedding (it was a sample so needed a pre clean) A stylist/ seamstress friend of mine recommended Annie and Foxy's cleaners. when I dropped the dress off, The bottom half of my dress (which is entirely laced) was a different color to the top half altogether. It was a big job and a tricky one, Annie took so much care when cleaning my dress and i was blown away by the results, it looked brand new and in perfect condition. "We ruined your pants because you are cheap". I went to Foxy's Cleaner with a blazer that I have previously been charged $12 elsewhere just to try them as they are closer to me and Foxy wanted $25 because they said I am tall. I am 5'9" same size as any guy and it is illegal to charge a woman more. I said, thank you and started to leave so the the woman said $18 and I agreed. I also had a pair of dress pants to be hemmed. I asked her if they could drop the hem low and use the hemming ribbon and she agreed. I arrived & paid $36 to have one blazer cleaned and one pair of pants hemmed .I noticed they had destroyed the hem line by 1) using a thick uneven sewing machine stitch like you might use on jeans not dress pants and they did not drop the hem sufficiently,(without ribbon). I asked what happened, the woman did not reply. Finally, I said, "Would you ever hem a man's pant this way?" She said, "No". I asked , "Why?" and she started loudly saying, "YOU CHEAP. YOU CHEAP!" I asked her what she was speaking about. Her reply, " You didn't want to pay $25 for jacket, you only paid $18 so we did the pants cheap way because you are cheap!" I said, "I paid you $36 for two items and you destroyed my pants to get even" . read more

I, too, am surprised at the negative ratings. These customers must have been very demanding or difficult to incite the proprietors to respond in a negative way. Folks - sometimes a dirty/stained garment cant be saved. But if that happens, I know that Foxy's Cleaners has given it their best try! And it has happened. I got a lot of blood on a blazer and Tommy worked on it a couple of weeks and couldn't get the stain out. And of course, I paid for the effort made! Also, to you people who want a price quote over the phone....you could get a price for simple, cotton blouse on the phone but you bring in a velvet, embroidered blouse with fabric buttons and the cost goes up! A horrible horrible experience, if you want have your clothes to be cleaned and be treated nicely by the owner, NEVER go to this cleaning store. When I pick up my cloth, there are still lots of obvious stains on it. I just said it's should be fully cleaned, because it's your job to make the cloth clean. And the owner was being so pissed and angry, she literally pointed my nose and yelling at me, said "nobody can get this dirty cloth again, we don't do perfect job, nobody can do!" And I was so shocked because this was the first time I have been treated like this. And I have never met anyone being so hateful and angry like this lady before. I've only been once, but my clothes came back looking expertly cleaned. The staff is incredibly nice and even took extra time to remove - by hand- the pilling on my jacket, and didn't charge extra since I was a new customer. They are conveniently located next to my neighborhood Ralph's and seem to have been in business for years. $36 for 4 items, including the aforementioned jacket and a partially sequined dress. Not sure if that's the cheapest out there, but I'll be going back to them for their high quality work and friendly service. read more

Every other place i took it told me the material was not the kind that can remove the stuff and they always made the stains worse. The owners of this place are what keeps me coming back. OF COURSE their service is EXCELLENT, but I'm always a fan of friendly, courteous and helpful businesses. I only tried this place because it was conveniently located next to my regular market, and I'm so glad I ventured in. I initially brought in two jackets that had some pretty rough wear (stains/markings, creases on the collar) that I thought wouldn't really come out. They told me what they were going to try and even said that when I come in to pick up the one jacket, if the collar wasn't pressed to my liking, she would repress it while I waited until it was right. They worked their magic on those jackets and they were returned bright and beautiful. I have been back several times and they always remember me. read more

My second time reviewing Foxy's, and still have good things to say. This time I brought in some old couch cushion covers that were covered in dog and/or cat stains and odors... instructions said to dry clean only and that shrinkage is a very real problem. This is a big deal because if the covers shrank at all, I'd have to get a totally new set of cushions ($$$$$$...). I brought them in to Foxy's and they were also very concerned. To get the smell/stains out they'd have to wet clean which would shrink them. They said they'd do their best to stretch out the material as it shrank and were very forthcoming with the risks involved. Given my past experiences with them, I trusted their ability and gave them the go-ahead. This was a very technical and tricky job, but I had confidence in them. A few days later the job was done, and Annie was cautiously optimistic. "If they don't fit, bring them back and we'll try stretching again." Disappointed in the quality of the abaya I brought in for a simple alteration and seem line reinforcement. I could understand if I had dropped the garment off without trying it on and agreeing to the hem length, but I made a point to do that hoping we had an understanding of what I was looking for. In the end Foxy, or whatever the lady's name is gave me a $20 discount and said she wanted to make me happy but she had a bunch of excuses as to why she really wasn't able to do what I was looking for. I wish she would have just been honest with her constraints when I came in the first time so I could have decided then whether or not to proceed.
