I am blown away by the talent and kindness that the owner of Vallee Cleaners has! I took my bridesmaid dress in for some alterations more concerned about the extra fabric that was on the sleeves of the dress (making it look bunched up on my arms), along with the length of the dress being too long. She noticed when I tried the dress on the back of the dress was drooping where the zipper is. Without her pointing that out I wouldn't have even noticed! Was so happy to discover this gem of a dry cleaners when I moved to Sherman Oaks. The owner is a delight and so skilled at knowing best way to do alterations. Cleaning is always ready when they say it will be. I brought a new-to-me vintage dress in to be altered and cleaned and she even told me I could machine wash on gentle. That's service! Last minute trips, weddings, events, dogs pee on the rug, need to make a jacket a whole size bigger, anything...she makes any alteration or cleaning service happen. If my husband has a tough stain (which is every shirt) she manages to get it out. If something is missed, she will redo for no additional charge. If she doesn't think she can do the job, she will let you know and provide recommendations. She is honest, has integrity and cares about her clients. Vallee Cleaners is the best! When I first walked into this cleaners, I felt how homey it was. There are the cutest posters and signs hung, which on its own, creates such an experience. Not to mention, there's a fighting room, which is so convenient for alterations! Jackie, the store owner, greeted me with such warmth, that I felt like I had known her for years.
