He's dragged in medical books to show me illustrations and drawn things out so I have a visual when applicable. He also has this awesome Palm Pilot-esque device that he carries that holds a wealth of information about prescriptions and what brand is best covered by your insurance, what it interacts with and side effects- very handy! He also consistently checks me on my posture - I'm a big time sloucher. On the rare occasion that Dr. Gardner is away or I am needing a last minute appt and he's booked, I've also been to Dr. Tokarz who took a lot of time asking me questions about myself trying to get to know me and Ly-Lan Bergeron, a physician's assistant who also asks a lot of questions and is really caring.
