I'm not a fan of the chain across the street and found myself waiting for the ferry so decided to try this place out. Coffee wasn't that great. I had an americano and it seemed watered down. The 3 stars are mainly for the cookie I had. It was a coconut, chocolate chip cookie. Seriously one of the BEST cookies I've had in my life. Cozy cafe. My husband and I went there for lunch and coffeeZ Coffee was really good. Lots of syrup flavors to choose from!! Plenty of food choices- I had a chicken salad on croissant sandwich. Delicious. My husband had a wrap. He loved it. Staff was great. I will definitely be back. read more

Three times now I've stopped in while waiting for my ferry and always had great customer service. The coffee was great and the vegetarian Quiche was delicious. Only problem is there's a problem with flies but I think that's mostly because of the location/weather. Definitely recommend. read more

What happens when you live in the land of Starbucks, but Starbucks sucks? You try all of the other awesome, local coffee shops, instead! This place is one of them. We ducked in here for some coffee and to escape the cold weather. Super friendly employees and great coffee makes for a winning combination :) The inside is very cozy, with local artists work on display and for sale. The inside is actually very large, with many seating areas. The coffee was really good. We will definitely be returning here. read more

Been coming here weekly for a couple years now and I keep coming back. The prices are in the same range as the big sb but the service is always less pressured and calmer. Whenever I need a caffine jolt in the middle of my workday, I trek out to Fraiche Cup for some excellent coffee and a sandwich. Great little coffee shop with a very loyal following - they've remained true to their base over the years - always looking to improve the quality of baked good, etc. Love the "other" stuff in the store and that they have barstools where single patrons can chill. I would much rather stop here than head across the street. Only downside is that sometimes they're a little bit understaffed...but, any wait is worth it. read more

I've been going here for many years. When you want a great cup of coffee, nice people, and a quick cup on your way to the ferry, this is the only place to go. My drink is ready within a minute or two of ordering and I've never missed a ferry because of waiting for coffee. read more

Pretty depressing in here, not gonna lie. The place seems sleepy and cluttered. The time we tried them out the service was OK until a gentleman arrived (I'm pretty sure the owner, glasses, white hair) who seems bitter and unhappy. He started "helping" at the counter which seemed to actually slow things down... And the coffees we got were just OK. I wouldn't go back, and it's a shame because they are across the street from Starbucks but aren't putting up much of a fight to compete. read more

Family-owned business, very friendly service. The first time I went here was on the honeymoon with my husband we decided to check out Bremerton to see what his future duty station looks like (he's in the Navy) so we stopped by this local coffee store rather than starbucks across the street. Well after that we moved to Bremerton and I kept coming back. They let me sit down for hours to wait for my husband to come and pick me up after getting off the ferry from work. I even sat down for 3 hours without really buying anything (in the end I bought a cookie because I felt bad, and it was YUMMY!), just using their free wifi. The baristas are super friendly and willing to help or let you know about items that aren't necessarily written on the board. My 6 year old normally loves whip cream on his coco, but for whatever reason decided that he didn't want it one day. They were completely understanding and willing to do another one so he could have his perfect cup of coco, this time without whip. The coffee is good, better than the cafe up the street on the corner of 6th or 5th. We've lived here for just under a month now and I think I may have found my favorite coffee shop here! Much better than Starbucks (which happens to be across the street). The cookies are delicious! read more

I live downtown Bremerton and do my best to support local businesses. I often would enjoy an afternoon coffee or drink while relaxing or catching up on the news. Unfortunately, I can do neither with the musician that plays excessively loud, repetitious music at its entrance. So sad one person is allowed to consistently ruin the peace and quiet of a once relaxing place to enjoy a coffee and pastry. read more

since my last review, i have been back here several times. and looking back, i've decided that it's actually quite a decent little place. it seems that when i had been going there previously, it had different owners and since the change over, they have switched to getting there coffee from Pure Vida....a fair trade, shade grown organic, cause driven company....well done. the owners actually seem to be a friendly couple who care about their business, customers and the community around them. onto the actual coffee and re-review....for espresso, they have the option of medium or dark roast(medium has more caffeine-score!). they know what they are doing...i have yet to get a badly poured shot there. the location is prime...if you're waiting for the ferry and need a little "pick me up", they are way better then starbucks and have a much more comfortable feel....not to mention, a local mom & pop business which is ALWAYS better then a corporation. read more

A Turkey Croissant for $6 with barely any meat or veggies and no spread of any kind? A veggie sandwich with dirty tasting veggies and no spread of any kind? Methinks we got ripped off on our first (and last) visit. My husband got a 12 oz. hot chocolate that tasted of Hershey's syrup (yuk). I got a decent 12 oz. latte. Our bill came out to $15 and some change. Really? I have never felt so cheated. The service was also quite rude and unfriendly. I now can see why this place is almost always empty. read more

Located conveniently near the ferry terminal, the coffee is pretty tasty. They have a good selection of flavored syrups to choose from. I ordered an americano with the tiramisu syrup and my friend ordered an americano with khakis syrup; both were the right balance of espresso and sweetness. read more

I'm cool with this place, just not blown away. A lot of people seem to like this place because it isn't Starbucks, which is kind of a non-compliment as a lot of places are not Starbucks. Is it any good? Yeah, it's one of the better options in the downtown area, but it just has nothing about it that makes it really unique for me. Really good coffee! Good sandwiches. This is a nice place to go when you're waiting for the ferry but you're sick of Starbucks. They have awesome dairy alternatives (Soy, almond, rice, Hemp milk). My only gripe is that they don't have coconut milk, but hemp milk is pretty good. This is my favorite place for coffee if I'm in downtown Bremerton. read more

Very quiet place on a beautiful Sunday in the Northwest. Really good latte and hot chocolates. The bathroom is very clean and the service was fine. Free Wi-Fi with password worked well. Plenty of space to sit down and comfortable chairs. Would definitely pass up on the Starbucks across the street :-) read more

Coffee is great. The service is inconsistent but they are quick and totally understand the whole "ferry-rush". Unlike their competitive neighbors, they get people in and out in a matter of seconds. Cold case selection could be improved a bit as other yelpers have stated. I seriously dig the quiche though! I tried their regular coffee and their hot mocha. They were both good but not great. The regular coffee was a bit too weak and the mocha was a little too sweet, but both had a fairly good flavor. So I would definitely go back there though it is not my favorite coffee place. read more
