I keep coming here because it's close to the ferry and the baristas in Saturdays are always super sweet and welcoming. The ambiance is charming in the kitschy kind of way that reminds me of where I grew up in the South. The coffee is nothing special. The quiche is decent, and the berry crumble is pretty good, but their other food looks a bit anemic. read more

The girl who took my order was super sweet and helpful (the only reason this review isn't 1star.) I ordered a few coffees and breakfast goods to go. Then moved on down to the end of the bar to wait on my drinks. The barista (pregnant lady with chest tattoo) was rude and seemed bothered that I was ordering coffee. Even when leaving I tried to be nice by saying to have a nice day to which she replied in monotone voice, "yeah, you too" not even looking up, smiling, nothing. I had a sip of my coffee once we were on the ferry and it was obviously not what I ordered and was watered down. The food was your standard bagels and muffin. I chose this place over Starbucks across the street because I'd rather support local but, in all reality, I would have probably been better off at SB. read more

The Barista I've encountered a few times here is wonderful. This is normally in the evening before they close. I met my mom downtown and her and I came here for coffee. I will say it was an alright drink. I ordered a latte and mumsy had an americano (Late in the day they no longer had coffee in the pots). The 4 star rating has nothing to do with the atmosphere or help, the help is fabulous but I am not a fan of the coffee being used. It is alright, def beats the crap in a cup across the street. read more

Better than Starbucks. They take the time to make your drink right the first time. I highly recommend the orange cranberry scones. Will never go to Starbucks again. Convenient place next to the ferry. read more

The good: Decent espresso, good plain old coffee. Nice pastries and such. You can sit around here for a while. They often don't charge for extra shots. The bad: Internet policy is a little paranoid, but welcome to Bremerton, where we can't have nice things. Service is hot and cold. read more

I'm digging this coffee house! It's one of my favorites in Bremerton. Parking is limited/difficult because of its downtown location, and there's a sort of weird side project with merchandise for sale inside the shop that seem pretty unrelated and off point, but aside from that, the service had always been prompt and friendly. The foods is really good, as is the coffee. Prices are fair for the quality. I will definitely be back. read more

Cute coffee shop, a little too cluttered but has a comfortable homey feel. No cold brew coffee :( the barista did offer me an iced americano instead which was nice but I don't care for them so declined. She said that it was basically the same thing, which it is NOT, so if you have never had cold brew before, please don't think it tastes the same. Had the medium roast drop brew and it was good. Though the coffee was perfectly fine and the almond milk was frothy but not scalded, I did not like the service at all. When I arrived the (only) barista was making a sandwich for another customer in front of me. Though she looked at me she did not say hi or tell me she would be with me soon. She just grimaced at me. After she was finished with the previous customer i waited briefly for her to return to the counter, and stepped up. She looked at me and told me I would have to wait a few minutes. I said ok and 5-7 minutes later, after 4 other customers had come in and another had stepped up to the counter she returned to help the customer that arrived after me. I had to interject that I was in line and had been waiting before she took my order. I haven't been to a coffee shop with such rude service since I lived on Capitol Hill and I will not be returning. Simply sublime espresso has better variety milk alternatives, a wide range of alternative foods and even though sometimes you have to wait, the girls are friendly and helpful. read more

I have loved this coffee shop for years and have been a devoted customer. I am now changing my place to purchase coffee due to some bad things I have heard and seen in this coffee shop. I have witnessed on a daily basis one of the main employees rolling her eyes at and talking ill of another employee. I am not the only one to witness this sad situation. I think it is very unprofessional when employees do this type of thing. I love the employee that they are treating this way. On the days that she is not present they proceed to talk behind her back and costumers CAN hear this. Sad situation and I hope it changes. Too bad. :( read more
