These guys have you covered. We ordered the Detroit style with artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, jalapeños and red peppers. Amazing, and no we couldn't finish it. They also have a good selection of beer & wine and the patio offers a good view of the sunset on Madeira beach. We were looking for a spot to eat coming from Treasure island and we drove right up Gulf Blvd. We had no idea what we had a taste for. My husband spotted the Detroit pizza sign so that grabbed our attention. So we were in btw this place and Slyce. We love Chicago pizza and Detroit pizza and that's why those were the options for us. Chicago Jacx appears to be closed. Slyce only has one option of Chicago deep dish pizza and Frabotta's Detroit pizza is their signature so we came here for the first time. Everyone was very nice. My husband thought the outside lit up section was theirs, but it was the bar next door that doesn't have service for their pizza. We sat outside on the side of their restaurant and it was a nice area to sit. They are dog friendly inside and out. We ordered the 8 slice Detroit pizza. They also have round pizza. Detroit style is square or rectangular. This is great so we can have leftovers. Ham and pineapple pizza was our choice and after 25 min, we had our food. Happy to say it did not disappoint and you can taste the cheese on the top as well as in the middle of the pizza. Our fave Detroit pizza is Nona Slice in Safety Harbor. This is a very close 2nd. Happy to have good pizza on this side of town. We were excited about leftovers and they were even better so clearly we are a new fan. read more

First time experiencing Frabotta's Beach Kitchen on Maderia Beach and was definitely impressed!! We were greeted and seated immediately upon entry!! Our server, Marina was helpful in recommending food selections and was an excellent server!! Entire restaurant was decorated nicely and had a nice vibe!! Had upbeat music playing which added to the atmosphere!! Ordered "The Diana" 16" pizza that was absolutely delicious!!! Looking forward to trying more menu items on our next visit!!! The pizza was pretty good but nothing to brag about. The service was fast and friendly. The chairs outside were a bit uncomfortable and probably should have a mesh to cover the blazing sun. The view and the spot is great. I would like to try other items to give it a more wholesome review and rating. read more

We went down to see the area as it was an absolutely beautiful day. Of course the area is still in rough shape but places are starting to reopen. Our service was great also. We had a pizza and iced teas, while enjoying the outside patio and air. Please as you have time, get down to Medeira, Johns Pass etc... and enjoy some food and shops to help rebuild. read more

Dinner with Family last night at this popular establishment. We arrived before 6 pm and scored an inside table. My niece was on the way so we ordered having texted with her in her preferences for the meal. Our beverages were delivered and she arrived within five minutes. The service was excellent and we even started a 'wave' for the bartender who was taking great care of us. Our meal was delivered and devoured in that order. Our niece was handed the ToGo box as you can see in the picture attached. We were sad to hear the building owner is increasing the monthly rent from 13k/month to 18k/month. Great little Italian restaurant across from the beach. Just around the corner, walking distance from were we are staying. Dined in tonight and had excellent service and great food, we enjoyed everything we had. Started with garlic knots (they could of used more garlic/butter), Caprese salad, Caesar salad, shrimp alfredo, Detroit pizza & delicious cannoli. Would go back but id skip the garlic knots next time but overall a solid choice if you want a great meal! read more

Service was really quick and the servers were exceptional. Great patio area to eat outside. A full service menu with drinks and all. Okay, first the negative such as it is. Parking is about as bad here as it is in most places along the Madeira/Redington Beach strip. That's just the entire area and does NOT reflect on Frabotta's. I only mention it to urge you to be aware and keep your eyes open for available parking as you approach the restaurant. My wife and I tried this spot for her birthday dinner last night. She wanted Italian food, and this was one of the spot's closer to our hotel which had good reviews. We were glad that we gave it a try. It's a smaller restaurant, but the staff was awesome and the food was absolutely wonderful! I believe that our server was Kerry, at least that is who is listed on the receipt. Sorry young lady, but I forgot to confirm your name before we left. Regardless of her name, our server was a pure joy to meet and chat with; she was also very good at her profession. My wife chose the Lasagna while I had the Chicken Parmesan. Both dishes were outstanding. We had such a great experience that, unless plans change, we intend to have lunch there tomorrow. We haven't tried it yet, but we understand that their pizza is excellent as well. I look forward to trying it. read more

We love our occasional visit to Frabotta's for casual Italian Dining on their outdoor deck in a open aire environment. Occasional live music and great Sunsets can be had there! There food is always fresh & hot - service excellent! We love their fresh Salads both Caeser and Giacomo and every other time a Bianca White Pizza. As locals we typically walk up about monthly or more frequently for either a casual lunch or relaxing dinner. Just picked this one out of the blue off of maps. Enjoyed two very good meals. Had an excellent server and the staff very friendly. I had meat Ravioli n marinara and the wife had Fettuccini. Recently, when you ask for restaurant recommendations in and around Madeira Beach: A-lot-a-peeps-mention: Frabotta's Beach Kitchen. (Say that three times fast.) Based on recommendations, my daughter and I stopped-in for dinner on May 23rd. It's a bright, clean, space with tons of windows. It's not huge, and I'm okay with that. It's the perfect size. They offer Detroit style pizza, along with a wide range of other more traditional, Italian fare (including: Lasagna, Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parm, Ravioli, Shrimp Alfredo, etc). If you aren't familiar with Detroit style, it is a square or rectangular pizza with a thick bread-like crust and whatever toppings you want. My daughter ordered a cheese pizza. My boyfriend and I were at Madeira Beach and wanted to grab a bite to eat. We were sick of the typical beach food- fried fish, burgers and sandwiches- and wanted to try out Frabotta's since it's got the perfect walkable location to the beach. It's across the street from a major parking lot that sits on the sand and we were able to just walk over. The restaurant has a rustic, classic Italian vibe to it and it was pretty busy. We noticed they were short staffed and only had two servers working but every table was eating and seemed happy so we gave it a shot. We sat outside and had a great view for people watching and looking over at the beach. The service was friendly and prompt. I enjoyed an Aperol Spritz and my boyfriend had a Modelo. We got their Mozzarella Sticks and shared the large fig and prosciutto pizza. EVERYTHING was yummy. You can tell this is the kind of place that makes their pizza dough in house and uses fresh ingredients, just overall high quality, well made food. Even the Mozzarella Sticks were gooey, cheesy, and had great breading. But keep in mind, the large speciality pizzas are huge. I had ONE slice and couldn't eat much more, which is unlike me! But it made for delicious leftovers the next day. I found my cocktail to be balanced and boozy, the perfect end to our day at the beach. Highly recommend Frabottas to anyone in the area or visiting Madeira. It's a fresh and delicious twist on your usual beach restaurant. read more

Wow! If you think, as I do, that pizza is the perfect food, this here is the perfect pizza. We ordered a pepperoni, onion, roasted red pepper Detroit style large pizza and it was divine. Almost, I'm going to just say it, WAS a spiritual experience. The char, you know what I mean if you're a foodie, along the edges where the cheese and the dough meet the square sides of the "assembly line" pain was amazing. The cook and the waitress were both friendly and accommodating. Last we were in town we ate down the street at the big "local" been there forever pizza place and it was papa Gina style kiddie type out of the box pizza. The Philly was ok at best, not flavorful and the shaved meat looked cheap especially for the price point. If they are going to serve mall quality Philly steaks then they should charge mall prices. We went to eat at Frabotta's Beach Kitchen tonight. To be honest it wasn't bad, but it wasn't fantastic either. Our waitress was very nice. We ordered a Detroit Coney Island to share because we never get a chance to have a snapper hot dog! It was very good! We had the chicken piccata, it was okay, very lemony and the spaghetti penne pasta with meatballs, the meatballs were very good. But the pasta was watery. The lemoncello cake was so so good though. I said our waitress was nice, but it seemed like she didn't want to be there, after she took our order, we only got drinks once, our cups were empty the rest of the dinner. I know it's hard to find staff and people have bad days so we will just say it was an off night. Over all I give it a 5 out of 10. read more

Why this place does not have 5 stars is beyond me. It's advertised as Detroit Pizza, and they have the best. It doesn't get any better, including in Detroit. Views outside are very nice and in our experience (been there at least 10 times). The waitstaff has always been very pleasant . We are hard-core Chicago deep dish affecianfos, but although Detroit style is entirely different, it is right up there with the best! If you haven't been there , give it a try. read more

Detroit Style pizza was delicious. For anyone familiar with Noble Romans (Indiana) Deep Dish pizza, this is the same type pizza but much better. I ordered from their website for pickup only to find out the order goes through a 3rd party and costs more. We were told by the girl at Frabotta's, when we picked up, to always CALL them direct for take out or delivery - the price is less. We didn't eat in so I can't comment on the ambiance but it's across from the beac and next door to the Saltwater Hippy, which is a fun little bar. Overall very good! read more
