Got ziti with meat sauce - waitress asked what kind of pasta - i told her penne is the same as ziti. Big portion. Mediocre at best. Got a side salad that was good. Waited to get a to go box and the top didn't fit. She said she could repackage but i just asked for a plastic bag which i waited on. She was pleasant. For the first time in my life, I threw a pizza away. My philosophy is that even bad pizza is good pizza. I always order a plain cheese pie when trying out a new place - if that doesn't taste good, then nothing else will either. The whole pizza was extremely lightweight. It's a very thin, barely anything there pie. So the value already isn't that great for what you are paying. The sauce was very salty. The ratio of sauce to cheese to crust was just way off. I took several bites but then didn't want to eat anymore. I actually ordered another pizza from a different place just to get the taste out of my mouth. I don't like leaving negative reviews because it seems like they haven't been open that long and I want new food businesses to succeed. Especially pizza places. I'm hoping someone there decides to work on their recipe further. read more

We attempted delivery this time, but the pizza arrived barely warm. We ordered extra cheese (+$4.00), yet the cheese was still sparse. The usual 3% credit card fee remains on the bill, along with a new $2.50 delivery charge that isn't shared with the driver. Why is that? It doesn't seem to cost them more to deliver. The tip is extra, and tax is calculated on the full bill, including fees and tip, not just the food. Despite the closing of Original Pizza II, many other pizza options are still available, and we plan to try different ones to improve our experience. We genuinely hoped Traviso would do well, but we can no longer ignore its focus on profit over quality. read more

As per usual, when I start a pizza review I warn you that I'm pretty harsh. Treviso was not somewhere that was on my radar. I was initially going to a more well-known local pizza place but circumstances changed that night and we ended up at Treviso. We walked in and the interior was nicely kept and clean. It almost appeared like a well-run chain restaurant. It was empty, which concerned me, but employees were friendly and prompt. I ordered what I had planned to order at the other restaurant and got the Margherita pizza. My wife got a pizza with pepperoni on gluten free crust. Due to her being GF, we are always looking for good options on that side of things. Looking at my pizza, you wouldn't be blown away but it looked good. The crust on the other hand was essentially perfect. I think it's the hardest thing to do right and it was exactly the way I like it! Crispy but not hard with minimal flop but a little give. It didn't look like an artisan crust that would hit all the right notes but trust me when I say it did. Now the sauce was a little lacking in flavor and that could be corrected pretty easily. Wasn't bad just mild. Overall, I was quite pleased. My wife reported the same about her sauce but the GF crust was pretty well done. It wouldn't be my first recommendation but it was more than decent. Pleasantly surprised, 7/10. read more

Pretty solid overall experience. Ordered for pick up. Only took 20 min for food to be ready. Customer service was good with no complaints to note. Got a gourmet 12"(which is like a supreme or deluxe elsewhere). Pretty solid football pizza. They use 00 dough, which was cooked all the way through and was not soggy in the middle, considering all the toppings on it. No complaints for the pizza and no indigestion afterwards. Also, got the village salad with the lemon vinaigrette. Vinaigrette tasted very fresh and complimented the style of salad. No shortage of ingredients either for the salad. Tomatoes were a bit too mealy, which understandably can happen from time to time. Meatballs (not pictured) were just so so and I would not get those again. They tasted a bit too cheap to me, but then again they were $4.99 for 3. Would come back for the same pizza and salad or even try a different pizza and/or salad. read more

I have ordered 3 pies from Treviso Pizza & Grill. The first one tasted burnt, but I was having some trouble with my taste buds at the time. The 2nd one was ok, better than the corporate chains. The 3rd pie was a disaster. It was a cheese with mushrooms. The crust was way too thick, there was too much cheese on the pie, and far too few mushrooms. I had to toss it out after 2 slices. Update July 2025 2 Stars What a Shame The owner replied to my review above by stating that he had taken care of the service issues and asked me to give them another try. I gave it a few months and then decided to visit again. There was a party of 2 at a table when I arrived. The only other business was an occasional person picking up a call-ahead order. So, they weren't busy. Unfortunately, the same service issues persisted, and the food got worse! I ordered soup and a side salad and a pasta. I clearly asked the server to bring them in three courses and not at the same time. The salad arrived while I was halfway through the soup and the pasta came while I was barely into my salad. This isn't hard--especially when business is so slow. As for food, the two items that were so good before--bruschetta appetizer and penne ala vodka with ham, shrimp and mushrooms entree--were no longer on the menu. When the server took my order I said I wanted to start with the soup. He asked which one--an odd question since there is only one on the menu. I asked if there was another and he said no. The soup was bland and had no richness to it. The side salad was very nice and quite large. For the entrée I asked for the penne ala vodka with sausage and red peppers. It was also surprisingly bland and probably the worst penne ala vodka I've ever had. The "sausage" was long, thin strips that I'm sure was gyro meat, not sausage. I took most of it home where I can work on some spicing to improve it. The confused service remains and the food got worse. I won't be going a third time. read more

The pizza was pretty good, I liked the crust a lot. I wasn't a huge fan of the Tuscan pizza toppings, they sounded good but ended up being a funky combo for me. However, I'd go back and just try a different type! The Caesar salad and garlic bread were pretty good too. I wouldn't say this is anything special, but it's decent. We ordered it for delivery, so I'm not sure how the ambiance is, but the food came pretty quickly so the service is good in that aspect. I'd go back but it wouldn't be my first choice. read more

We placed our order through their online ordering system and received a pick up time. Living only 3 minutes away we waited until our pick up time to drive to get our order. The pizza had not even been made yet and we had to wait an additional 22 minutes. If they can't get their online system aligned with their kitchen they should not use it. To compensate for the wait they did offer a couple of free canolies - which was nice. We would rather have been given a more accurate pick up time. I've been a pretty good customer of this facility until tonight. A person they had working the front was extremely rude to me when I came into pick up a pizza to go. I can definitely give people grace if they are struggling and new to the job, but when they are completely incompetent and rude I have to take issue. She was the only one at the front, but seemed to struggle with reading orders for their tables. There were only 3 tables, and I was the only one in line. Not a big crowd at all. I have seen one person at the front before with more people and they never had this much trouble. She did mention that she would be with me in a moment after I had been there for a while. That is fine. But after she delivered food to a table, she then started messing with her hair scarf and proceeded to go back to the bathroom for a bit. What?! Then, after she came back she took another order to the table, walked right in front of me without saying excuse me or nothing. Then went back around the counter and piddled some more. I had to tell her I was just there to pick up a pizza. It took her a great deal of time to figure out if I had actually paid for the pizza. After she finally confirmed that I had paid, she left the pizza at the counter fairly far away from me and walked away. Couldn't even hand it to me. I had even left them a 15% tip online, ending up with just a lot of frustration and inconvenience, as well as a colder pizza. I called back to complain and she answered. Completely denied that she was rude. She lives in a far away dimension that is not reality. I will not be back to this place. They just lost a customer. read more

We ordered the Margarita Pizza yesterday and it was excellent. It had a wonderful taste and we ordered crispy and it had a perfect and grainy crust. We've previously had pizza there and the service was always pleasant and efficient. We only wish they had a more expanded wine list, but we are certainly happy that they are locally in our Bardmoor neighborhood. read more

Front of house staff is great very helpful. The pizza not so great, on a Dave Portnoy scale it's a 5.0 at best. The sauce is boring, flat taste at best, it could use some oregano and salt. The cheese is ok, no real flavor. The crust is soft, and floppy, it's cooked on a screen, so it will never be cooked properly. It's a shame I had heard great things about this place. Maybe it's an off night, but the ingredients are the ingredients. The service however was great. I don't know why service is checked off on this, it won't change. read more
