I paid over $400 for my frame but when I received it it was cracked. The salesman told me that I would have to take it like that and after complaining about it he said that he can only give me a $40 discount which was not enough because I had traveled two hours back-and-forth from the store to my home. My client is also not happy because the frame was damaged and they would have to waite another week for the frame to be reframed. I am not coming here again. Also, the mounting screws included in the back of the picture frame were rusty! If this a professional run business, an over-sized painting should not be a problem! read more

I had seen this place driving by a hundred time. So last week I walked in and loved what I saw. They have a ton of frames that they hand craft. If you like thing that are done the correct way, something that will last you entire lifetime and then some, you want to at the very least give frame 2000 a look. Yes, you can get cheaper frames from target or wherever but they are junk. Do you really want an important picture or canvas put inside junk? They have seceral types of ass to choose from. Frames made from reclaimed wood. And are started to print on metal, which btw I have seen the demos and they look great. Do yourself a favor and save yourself money in the long run. Sam and Frame2000 are the best. I have framed stuff all over town over the years, but one of the benefits of my recent move to Venice, has been working with them. I think he does great work and I always love his guidance on a choosing a frame, matte, etc. That is, he offers his expert opinion but definitely does not push. Prices are reasonable, especially for the area, and I love that they have been in business there for like 20 years. Also, he's never missed a completion date - that is, if he tells me its going to be ready by a certain day, it always is! This is my second trip to Frame 2000 in the last few years. On my first trip I had my brother and sister in law's Ketubah framed and was so stunned with how great it came out and how fair the price was I knew I'd be back. My husband and I have decided to create a very large gallery wall in our home and I took about 20 items to Frame 2000 to finally get them all framed. I came in today (6/15/22) at about 8:45 AM and was helped by Beto. Fortunately, I was the only customer in the shop so I was able to get extended individualized attention. Beto and I worked together for an hour and a half picking the best frames for each item and discussing pros and cons of different matting options and stylistic choices. Beto is SO knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. I learned so much from him and his patience is remarkable. He said the job would be done in max three weeks (which is much sooner than I would have thought) and all of the frames they have in stock were on discount which was great news. I hope the owner sees this review and knows how lucky they are to have an employee like Beto -- he is definitely the reason I will be back time and again and refer all of my friends and family to Frame 2000.
