We didn't hear from them for 3 weeks so we called to ask about the status of our generator. The gentleman could not find the paperwork and called us back later to say he had found it and they would look at the generator now. So where was the paperwork for 3 weeks and would we have heard from them if we hadn't called? A few days later we get a text that says it's ready for pickup and the cost was over $500. They never called for consent to do any further work beyond the diagnostic. I called and the woman was instantly very rude to me as I tried to explain why I was upset with the way they had done business. The gentlemen I spoke with after was slightly less rude and did apologize for not calling with an update but then tried to excuse it by exclaiming how busy they were. If you're too busy to conduct business fairly and provide adequate customer service then maybe turning people away is better than taking their money before they've consented to the repair. Had he communicated with me about what the generator needed and why he thought it was worth the cost to repair it as opposed to buying a new one I would have appreciated that very much and I don't think is too much to ask. We asked for a small amount off the bill to compensate for our bad experience and they said no and that if we didn't pick it up they could sell it. Very predatory way of doing business and simply rude people who can't take accountability when they mess up. Steer clear...I will find a repair shop who treat their customers better.

On January 5, 2026 I took a Husqvarna chain saw into them for chain sharpening and tune up. A deposit of $52 was requested. I was told that it might take 2 weeks to be serviced. After not hearing from them for 3 weeks I called and said it was "on the table" awaiting repairs. Did not hear from them again for a couple of weeks and when I called Don said he was awaiting a part expected the next day. Called again after a couple of weeks (nobody ever bothered to call me). When Don came on the line he whined about how much time it was taking and he couldn't get a part to fit (gas tank cap). So I told them I would pick it up. When I picked it up I asked if chain was sharpened, plug replaced. "No" but when I asked for deposit Jen said they would keep it for them "having to look it over!" Long story short: after two ten minute "chats" on Husqvarna's website, new part received that fits. All I had to do was send them a picture of the incorrect cap. 'Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me." Never again. I hate to be ripped off. The only reason I gave one star is that they answer the phone.

The staff was professional and knowledgeable (albeit not the most friendly) as they diagnosed the issue when I started it up as there likely being debris in the choke. Their shop rate is $90/hr and they claimed it took 0.75 hr to fix which seems about right. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they replaced the spark plug after I told the guy expressly that I replaced it a month ago. It's likely that they go ahead and replace the spark plug and air filter on every mower that comes in, regardless of whether they need replaced or not. Honestly, people don't bother doing the maintenance, so chances are, most mowers that come in need them; just not my spark plug. The mechanic also forgot to tighten the guard around the muffler, which the counter guy caught and tightened.

I explained that over that small amount he would be losing a customer to which he told me to get out of his store and that I am not allowed to rent again. After several contacts with the Pipersville parts person, this business stood by its representation of a correct part as posted. There was no comment from the company the same identical part could be purchased thought Amazon for $20 delivered yet Pipersville Lawn and Garden is charging $169.62. The parts person said he would charge anyone the same price. There was an attempt to contact the co-owner/manager of this business to discuss the issue. With no responses in a reasonable amount of time, there is the conclusion that this is the foundation of this business. This is a situation of deceit and lack of conscience that a business will seek any opportunity to take advantage of their customers.
