I have to disclose up front that I'm a hugh fan of Francie's. A life long consignment shopper Francie's is one shop that never disappoints. I shop all over the USA and this is a great shop. Leslie, the owner, is so personable and always helpful while shopping. Most consignment shops in my area (Cape Ann) make it so hard to consign with them. Not here. I tries to consign some things here and found that it was a different owner than I had seen before. She was not friendly and I felt judged as soon as I walked in. I discovered this unique consignment store which sells high quality, excellent condition, beautiful used clothes during a trip to Rockport and Gloucester a few years ago. The store also carries some new items which add to the selection. I'm sure you will find something there each time you visit as I have -- especially on the $5 rack which has some real finds. The people who work there are always very helpful and friendly. I have even made a few trips to specifically visit this store even though I live an hour+ away -- always worth it. read more

I went back to Francie's recently and the place has really improved a lot in the past year. This place is definitely a boutique so if you're looking for discount prices, I would go elsewhere. But it's got some really nice high end things for really good prices. I got a beautiful silk Anne Taylor dress for $45 that is just unbelievably cut. My mom found a gorgeous short blue dress with big sparkly sleeves that made her look incredible. I recommend this place if you're looking for something really nice and dressy. read more

I have consigned with Francie's several times and have always been pleased with the experience. Leslie prices things fairly, gives thorough receipts and is timely with the payments. I've also been lucky enough to get some personal shopping; Leslie keeps an eye out for things that I'm looking for, or that she thinks would suit me and she's always right on target! My only sadness is that I haven't yet been able to actually visit either of the stores, but I'm hoping that won't last long! read more

I learned about this resale Boutique through a close friend that works in Haverhill. I had a great time. It is clean, intimate and friendly. The owner was very customer service savy. I left with 4 items well under $100 and all unique. The owner was so nice she stayed open a couple of minutes longer for me to try stuff on. Again, the clothes were clean and well organized.
