This is a nice sized mall. It only has one level. The place was clean and the architecture was nice. Almost all the spaces were occupied and a good many people were shopping. They have a JCPenney, Sears, in Value City, I haven't seen those stores in a while. There isn't a food court and instead concession stands are scattered throughout the mall.

It is a smaller mall to compared to others carries most of the stores but also most not was going to Dulles airport and had to stop in to see if I could do a little shopping walked the whole mall it was pretty cool. The mall is very well taken care of it's clean. Food court didn't have that many options but it is what it is had to get what they had.

The pork was fried well and the breading wasn't overwhelming or too much. You can either eat the fried pork by itself, dip it in the sweet and sour sauce, or pour the sauce all over the fried pork. I liked to dip the pork in the sauce so the pork stays crispy. I was surprised that the onion and bell pepper were raw in the sauce. I would have enjoyed it more if they were cooked. There were also carrots and pineapple in the sauce.

About a 2-2.5: Delicious Chinese Restaurant - I really wanted to like you!…read more This vendor is one of the food court finds you'll find at H Mart - note that you have to go to another kiosk to place orders for any of the vendors that you'd like to order from; I guess it's a way to allow the eateries to focus on preparing the food, rather than lose the extra employee in dealing with the register. Masheeneun Joonggook Jip, aka 'Delicious Chinese Restaurant' offers your typical Korean-Chinese fare, such as jajangmyun, jjambbong, tang soo yook, ggangpoongi, etc. We came here for lunch, and we ordered: +jajangmyun - wasn't a fan of the black bean sauce, as there seemed to hardly be any flavor - it was super bland; also, the noodles were overcooked and were 'swollen' +hae mool jjambbong - the seafood jjambong's broth had a spicy kick to it; unfortunately, the broth was super thin, and while there were ample amount of mussels, the squid had a fishy smell to them and were not fresh; there were tons of noodles, however, but just like the jajangmyun, they was overcooked +soon sahl dak gganpoongi - these came boneless; this was actually not a bad dish, as the sauce wasn't too syrupy sweet as most Korean-Chinese places make them; they had a slight kick to them, had tons of veggies (bell peppers, peas, onions), and tons of sauce, which would be great eating with a bowl of rice I was a little surprised that the only banchan they gave you with the meal was the dakgwang (pickled yellow radish), but no kimchi or ggakdoogi (fermented radish cubes); I also thought that a bowl of rice would have been served with the entrees, like the gganpoongi. There was about a 40-minute wait (which we were quoted), as there were a lot of patrons ordering from this place - a recommendation would be to get there earlier before the lunch rush. This seems to be run by a husband-and-wife team, and they were really slinging everything; super kind. This may be a good option for those living in the Frederick area, but definitely not worth the trek for us. Glad we were able to try it, but we wouldn't return. Plenty of parking in the lot. +stick with the gganpoongi +overcooked noodles +order near the Sogongdong Tofu place for any eatery items +located inside H Mart +plenty of parking in lot

I first tried this place with my kids because the Korean corn dog was trending on YouTube and TikTok and they really wanted to try it. We first tried the half hot dog half cheese potato dog. Not bad, but again nothing special. I tried the cheese and potato dog. Not bad. The sauce selection is very basic. They have this sweet sauce that I personally hate. They trick you because it looks like spicy mayo, but it's the opposite!! However, if you're into sweet and savory sauces, you may like it. Nonetheless, I wish their sauce selection was broader. The more recent time I came in to try the egg toast. I got the bacon egg toast this time and was very disappointed. The food was cooked fine, the eggs nice and fluffy, but it had that sweet sauce inside!!!! Totally ruined the sandwich for me. It came with these 2 fried cheeseballs, which barely had any cheese in them and mostly just fried dough. My friend had got the hot Cheeto corn dog and I tried a bite. It just lacked flavor. Again, if there were good sauces these dishes could've been improved. Everything was just "Oh K". The warning is in the name! Note: this food spot is located within the H-Mart food court. I will definitely be back to the food court, but not for Oh K-Dog!

Today we tried Lazy Fish because it was recommended by David's colleague. We got the Pork Belly appetizer, Lazy Rainbow, Lazy Shack, and the Lazy Spaghetti which was on the Specials menu when we went. Pork Belly: Although the pork itself was fatty and tender, and a bigger piece than we expected, although waaaaay too much cabbage and a little too sweet from the pineapple for my taste. Lazy Shack and Lazy Rainbow: LOVED these rolls! We were actually impressed by how fresh the fish was?? And the amount and texture of the rice was on point. Multiple tables next to us got the Lazy Rainbow so it seems like a popular one to get. We also appreciated the real crab that they used (although I may have gotten the smallest piece of shell in my Lazy Shack, but it was so good I didn't even care). Lazy Spaghetti: Basically like a massamun beef curry and spaghetti fusion. On the tad spicy side for me. Was really creamy and the sauce to spaghetti ratio was a little heavy (on the sauce side) that I wish there was more spaghetti to soak it up. Definitely would stick to the sushi here (although I'm a sucker for a sushi + hot dish combo). Would consider coming back to try some of their nigiris next time!

I guess I'm not that surprised, it's in a struggling mall with weak food court. I had work travel and was traveling back through Frederick in June 2023. I decided to stop at Francis Scott Key Mall to look around since I had never been in there. There was a cool rock & crystal store in there. Food court is more of a middle strip with some seats in the walkway. I was weighing my options of eating here or elsewhere in the Frederick area. I decided I was game to try Halal Diversity as they were nice, prices were reasonable, & looked promising. I got a rice, lamb or beef, or side salad. Wow, this was the best Halal restaurant I've had, better than Halal Guys! The sauce was delicious as was everything. If I ever was in Frederick again, I'd try to revisit this place.

Protein over rice, in a wrap, etc. there is plenty of seating in the back with access to two bathrooms. Chicken Platter came with rice with some sauce and a side salad of romaine lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and maybe a bit of onion. The chicken had a hint of sweetness in it and the marinade was cumin heavy. Delicious with a mild kick. Steak burrito came with lots in it and was devoured quickly. They don't list what else is in the burrito but it was definitely also cheesy. Falafel gyro- with the green, moist falafels came grilled vegetables, mushrooms, on a fluffy pita. Loaded fries: crispy fries with steak, cheese, sour cream, grilled onions and peppers, and jalapeños. There was a bit of sweet sauce on the bottom that reminded me of a Thai chili sauce.
