Hubby and I came to this location for the first time for dinner, we ordered the house salad with grilled chicken ($21), the 12 inch o'track pizza with serrano chiles ($24), mozzarella sticks ($11), and a couple of drinks. Total came out to approximately $89 (not including tip). What's hot - Menu. There's something for everyone, even possibly vegans. There's meats, veggies, and seafood. - Quality. Their mozzarella sticks were yummy. Not overly breaded and served wi5 a marinara sauce. The cheese was stringy when I bit into it, which I always love. The grilled chicken that came with my salad was tender and warm. The veggies of the salad were fresh and crispy. The crust of the pizza was soft, warm, and slightly crunchy. The serrano chilies added provided a nice spicy kick. Be aware that the o'track pizza is not ordinarily spicy, even though the menu describes the honey as chili infused. When we asked the server how spicy the chili is, he responded that it's more sweet than spicy. - Portions. Pretty good value for money. It's enough to get you full, not stuffed. - Location. It's right on the Boardwalk, which provides a wonderful view. There's an indoor and outdoor seating area. What's not - Service. Not the most reliable, but this probably depends on day and time. We came on a weeknight (not Friday) and the restaurant was not packed. They appeared to only have a few wait staff. We asked for lemon wedges with our waters, which didn't arrive until mid-meal. Not the worse problem to have, but just be mindful that attention to detail may not the best their strong suit. We also waited a good amount of time (probably close to 10 minutes) for a server to come to our table and bring us the essentials, like utensils and water, after being seated. - Chairs. Their chairs are made from woven straw, which is not bad, but not the best material, as it can dig into your skin and leave marks when you're wearing shorts or a swim suit. I took a video so if I can attach it, I'll attach it here and it has a little bit more of a backstory, but this is our first time to Ocean City. I brought my mother out here to see the Thunderbirds because it was on her bucket list so I got this hotel that was supposed to be show Center so she could watch from the balcony and not to deal with heat and sand. Incidentally I booked the Hyatt Pl., Ocean City Oceanfront. They're really good rooms and this is a prime spot. Anyways, our room wasn't ready so I sat her down in a chair on a patio right underneath the hotel. I thought I saw a sign that said Hyatt guests so I thought we were fine. It looked like an actual store and when I was researching on the Internet, pictures showed a beach novelty shop right beneath the hotel so I thought that's what it was, but it didn't look like one however, when I looked inside, it looked like a little café. I thought perfect because we've been driving four hours and it'd be great to get something to drink and maybe a little snack while we waited for our room. So we hung out there for a little bit until this nasty woman from Franco's came came at us sternly saying, "You can't sit here! You have to leave- this private property! You have to leave!" I said, "Oh- I'm sorry I. I thought this was a place for Hyatt customers." She told us that no the sign said it was only allowing Hyatt customers to pass through the patio area. So I said, "Oh OK I said well I was trying to figure out if this place was open so we could get some drinks and food or something." She goes, "No. That's next-door and it's full right now and, it's $60 per person minimum." As if I couldn't afford $60." Like I can't afford $60. Subsequently, we got checked in and from our balcony we could see her shooing all these people away but somehow others showed up... reservations?? Who knows why didn't she just freakin say that. As for Franco's pizza, I can tell you that the food looks amazing that comes out and it smells amazing but unfortunately because of that first impression there's no way in hell I'm giving these people my money based on that experience. I'm a person who will spend a lot of money to indulge, especially on vacation and I tip very very generously because I respect and I appreciate those in the service industry who provide good service. We're also next to some people here at the hotel that say the service over at the restaurant proper is actually pretty good so there is that, but I just can't get the taste out of my mouth just yet for the disrespect, blatant disrespect mind of that woman. I mean, I get it if the proprietor of the business and the property doesn't want people hanging around. They need to be putting up signs and there's a much better way you can tell people to respectfully move on. read more

For this visit to the beach, Francos became my go to spot for a slice or two of pizza and a drink. I made several visits to Francos for lunch the week I was in town. The staff were great but the bartenders know how to have a good time at the beach. I had Ceasar chicken wraps and pizza slices. The wraps were decent sizes with fresh ingredients and grilled chicken was cooked perfectly. If they are not busy, you can order pizza by the slice with limited list of topping options. The pizza was fresh hot with a crispy crust. Good size to kill the lunch hunger. The bar drinks were great. It was cool that they had a full bar. They also showed the FIFA games so that was good as well. I look forward to my next visit. read more

The food was good and our server was great. We were a family of five, ordered five meals, and my wife and I each ordered a drink. Unfortunately, something was off with the Spicy Margarita. We both tried it and agreed it was easily the worst one we've ever had. We politely asked if we could exchange it for a different drink, but were directed to a menu policy stating that all ordered items must be paid for, regardless of whether they're consumed. We were told this is n MNG policy. In all my years of dining out, I've never encountered a restaurant unwilling to replace a drink that was clearly unsatisfactory. It was disappointing, especially considering we had ordered a full family meal and weren't trying to get something for free--just a replacement. I also asked whether drinks are free-poured or measured and was told "both," which left me wondering whether there may have been a mistake in the preparation of the margarita. Overall, the food and service were solid, but the drink policy felt unreasonable and left a negative impression on an otherwise enjoyable experience. The server did get it taken off eventually but its a stupid policy that needs to be judged better. I 100% agree if someone drank the drink or was activing unreasonable they should have to pay. But a family ordering a full meal and mentioning something off with a drink should be a no brainer to jsut replace and move on. read more

I was a little put off by the fees, online carryout had a $4 fee just for ordering online, then 3% credit card fees, on top of already expensive food that sort of pushed the limits. Francos pizza turned into Francos fees. Would not go back on a regular basis, but on vacation with family it's probably worth a visit in person, in restaurant, to get feeless ordering and fresher out of the oven pizza. read more

We had been seated at coastal salt just a few minutes before, but got turned off by the sky high menu prices .. so while no one was looking we made a quick exit before ordering anything. Just a block down the boardwalk was Franco's, and on this warm Tuesday evening we got seated right by the boardwalk, just like the table we had ditched at coastal salt. To my relief the menu prices looked pretty reasonable! We ordered two crushes which were tasty and had the requisite kick. My gf had a burger with fries and I got the paccheri genovese pasta, and we were both very pleased. The pasta dish in particular was commendable with oversized rigatoni noodles and lotsa fallin apart beef in a tasty red sauce. The service was friendly and efficient. The tab came to $100 for two entrees, two cocktails, a side of fries (not included with the burger but a huge portion that we took most of it home) and the tip, which I considered to be totally worth it for decent Italian food right on the boardwalk. My only nitpick, and I always have one, is there was no bread. Cmon, it's an Italian restaurant -- with no bread? But it's ocean city, so you take what you can get. read more

This is my favorite pizza on the boardwalk! They offer both indoor and outdoor traditional seating options, along with indoor and outdoor bar seating. We opted for the outdoor bar seating for this visit and were not disappointed. The bartender was friendly and attentive, taking our food and drink orders right away. We split an order of mozzarella sticks and the 12' L'Immortale speciality pizza. We were starving and by the time the mozzarella sticks showed up, we devoured them. They were perfectly crisp and the marinara was flavorful. The pizza came out shortly after and it was perfect. The fresh basil really added a kick of flavor, the prosciutto was delicious and the burrata was the perfect texture. The crust of the pizza has a nice chew and it's just the right thickness. We loved it. I really recommend the bar stool seating outside. You're covered, but you can catch a nice breeze. The fries were the best part of our meal. The mozzarella sticks were the cheese stick logs which I specifically asked what type they were before ordering them as part of the "kid menu" because my daughters do not like that type. Stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Located right on the boardwalk imappreciated the branding of the place with the black panels, the nice decor and the various fixtures etc. We obviously came here for pizza and I think if you're walking from the boardwalk there should be better signage that if you want to walk up and order take out, but slices (didn't see until we had sat down and ordered) or get table service. Obviously with some foreign wait staff they aren't aware to give people that option but nonetheless we sat and ordered 2 12" pizzas - one pepperoni, the other prosciutto and arugula. I thought the prosciutto was good - the pepperoni a little on the pedestrian side. Our waiter - tall guy with a hat and shaggy hair - maybe foreign? was good and did a good job. The food was satisfying. The burger was ok, but nothing glaringly amazing. The menu list "cheese fries" but the cheese comes on the side, not on the fries. It should be listed as "Fries with side of cheese." The shrimp tacos were good, but you may need to request additional sauce. After breing seated, my wife and I waited a good 8-10 minutes before our server greeted us. However, she was pleasantly friendly, promptly got us water, and took our order. We initially wanted to sit inside, but the drinking crowd was an overbearing bunch. So, we opted to sit outside. This, unfortunately, was not without its setbacks. The flies are extremely aggressive, resulting in swatting while eating. :-( and we got a few misqeto bites as well. If you decide to give it a try, bring your patience and insect repellant. read more
