    Pico Burger

Another excellent evening at one of our local spots. I tried the pico burger and it was amazing, so juicy and delicious. My wife had the cat fish sandwich and it was amazing as well. The crew here is always very friendly and polite, we love the atmosphere here. The bartender is such a great person we will shit at the bar and visit with her anytime.

We finally stopped in to give them a try. It was a Friday night so they were understandably busy, but there were seats outside to sit and wait. It's a small restaurant, and seems to be a local favorite. The booth seats need to be reupholstered, but the place seemed clean otherwise. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. I ordered the plain burger and fries. The fries are hand cut and very delicious. The burger was juicy and had a good flavor. If I had to compare it to any place, it would be Ron's. My husband had the large pasta with cheese sauce. He said the cheese sauce was good, some of his pasta was not fully cooked, but it's a large portion so he was able to get enough. We ordered the bread pudding for dessert. Warning: when the waitress says the bowl is hot she means the bowl is HOT! I thought it was a good bread pudding, not too sweet. All in all, it was okay. Our meal was $50 ( not including tip ) I felt that was a bit much for a burger & fries, mac and cheese, and bread pudding. We had a tea and a can of soda for our drinks. It didn't make my sensitive stomach upset, and that's a good thing. If you're looking for a descent place to eat downtown Bartlesville, I'd recommend them.

Double Barreled Tastebud Slaying Monster! Had a superbly delicious smothered burger and fries for lunch today. I've been a dedicated Pork Chili fanatic since 1992. I've had all kinds and this place is one of the best. Super hot and tasty meal full of flavor, not spicy at all. Great staff and friendly relaxed atmosphere. Huge portions and fair prices too. Definitely coming back tomorrow for the Salmon, as it looked amazing as well.

    Green chili cheese burger

WAY to loud with the music, makes everyone scream just to visit, barely can hear server. No business meetings for sure, which brings my rating down. Had the green chili cheese burger with fries, server didn't hear wife say no onions on her salad or me say fries they brought chips again music to loud! Burger was outstanding Gwen chili perfect blend cooked perfect salad was big and good ! Definitely will return but noise level brings it from a 5 to 3 star.

We had a big group and they sat us quickly. We liked the way the place was set up. Waitress was fast and friendly. We all ordered ribeyes and they did not disappoint. It was the best steak that we had ever had. The best place we tried the week that we were there. Most definitely on the list of stops when we come back to town.

One of your basic staples in small town Oklahoma. A lot of different burgers, a couple salad dishes, pasta dishes, a little pork, a little fish. I had the Johnny burger, which is a basic smash burger with jalapeño cream cheese. Fries are a little limp for my style, but average. So far in my experience, they mostly do smash burgers in Bartlesville. I haven't seen a medium or rare patty anywhere. I had a couple cocktails. One refreshing, one sweet and heavy. Busy around 7 PM, was cleared out by 8. I got seated immediately. Staff was attentive. This is an average restaurant. Will try again, but nothing mind blowing so far. They reportedly have a famous bread pudding, which I had planned to try, but the server brought me my check before I was able to ask for it. You're supposed to ask for it about 20 minutes ahead of time because it's made to order. Prices moderate. As others have said, don't expect substitutions. It's written expressly on the menu. Yes, all condiments are extra. Doesn't bother me, but may bother some. Will revisit my rating when I try again.

All I have to say is WOW. If you are stopping in town I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. The green chili is so amazing and flavorful, a little spicy, i could go into so much detail about everything but just go. The espresso brownie was amazing as well. Perfectly crisp, oooie gooie, and the vanilla ice cream mixed together was the cherry on top. Menu was balanced, priced well, props to who put it together. I could keep going but 5 stars

Sticky tables, mediocre food, high prices, and service hit or miss. Nice location though.

Long and rambling post so be prepared. Remember that a three is OK. While Palace Rooms has glimpses…read moreof greatness, it was just OK when we were there. I'll start with the pluses. The decore and vibe are excellent. It's retro without being kitschy. It's a cool location (downtown B'ville). The fried mushrooms were maybe the best I've head (rivaling by far Hideaway's). My aperol spritz was delicious. The manager was great! We have been to Lollipops a couple of times in Tulsa and are intrigued about the Palace Rooms and the speakeasy and how they were going to fit all of this into the old Goldies. They just opened these two concepts in Tulsa and we figured they would be swamped this weekend so we decided to roadtrip to B'ville. I got the impression from the Tulsa media stories that they recommended reservations so I did that for the Bartlesville Palace Rooms. (It's pretty simple to do on their website.) They do not have a host at the door and there was just a sign that said seat yourself. Since we had a reservation and I didn't want to screw up their system, we checked in with the bartender. "Oh yeah, we've got a couple of reservations. Just grab whatever reserved spot you want." No one ever asked what the name was. We did grab a cozy booth area (couch, a couple of chairs and a coffee table). Great area for having cocktails. Not so much for dining. We sat for a while without service and then went to the bar to order drinks. Bartender said they would be delivered. We literally watched our drinks walk by our table a couple of times before the server checked back in with the bartender to see where they were supposed to go. She then grabbed us menus. That was all. Finally, the manager came by to see if we needed anything. We said we wanted to order an app and she took our order. While I didn't think the wait for the mushrooms was that long, the staff seemed to think it was. Another server came over to let us know it would be about four more minutes. Then the manager delivered our food and apologized. Again, the mushrooms were excellent! We decided that we would go dine elsewhere. It was honestly for a couple of reasons---I didn't want to eat off a coffee table (and we totally could have moved b/c they weren't that busy). And, I really didn't want to spoil the OK-ness of our experience here. (I really want to love this place.) We asked for the check and the manager, still our main server, was really perplexed. She wanted feedback and sat down with us in our booth. She shared a few things on how they were working kinks out. Totally personable and I would revisit just because she took the time to find out what we thought. Final thoughts: great vibe, probably a great cocktail place, menu looked interesting, if you want to dine, grab a table. I feel like if we had sat at the bar we might have stayed. Manager was excellent and is really trying to make this a stellar experience. Honestly, if it had not been for her, we probably would have walked out after our drinks.

We went for dinner last night after seeing a friend post online about the place. With a 5:30pm…read morereservation, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. This worried us a little at first. The cocktails were amazing and relatively inexpensive. Nice beer selection too. We started with appetizers and salads and they were excellent. I ordered the fillet for my entrée and it was absolute perfection. One of the best I have ever had, and I'm a big Mahogany/Morton's/Ruth's Chris fan. Service was impeccable (of course we were the only people there). Atmosphere was fantastic with multiple chic booth seating areas that make the dining experience comfortable and private, but also several more open small table options and a beautiful bar. The location and parking is going to be a challenge for them. The Goldies that used to occupy that building experienced similar issues with parking because the lot is terribly designed. There is also a visibility issue because of the way the building is "tucked" under the level of the roadway. Best to park on the North side of the building and avoid the tight angles in front. We will be back, probably frequently, and with friends. It's a great atmosphere with great food and service.

It was absolutely amazing. I was extremely surprised to hear that he himself is from New Orleans! I'm one lucky girl to be able to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. The best part of it all was it had Cajun food and I use to live in Louisiana. My hubby had steak for dinner but I had this amazing gumbo with a rice ball along with boudin balls as an appetizer. Every bite was heaven. The little bit of spice in the gumbo was amazing and reminded me of Louisiana and how much I miss it, the people and the food. The chef out did himself on dinner tonight. Man I will definitely have to come back again when you have Cajun food. It's my absolute favorite. Thank you chef for an amazing birthday dinner.
