This skyscraper is located right off historic Route 66 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. It's well worth a quick stop while traveling through town. While there you can also get a photo of the big 66 sign. This is the menu for tonight 3/24/23. I can't say enough amazing things about dinner tonight. I really enjoyed Chef Nook's New Orleans menu tonight for my birthday dinner. It was absolutely amazing. I was extremely surprised to hear that he himself is from New Orleans! I'm one lucky girl to be able to celebrate my birthday at this restaurant. The best part of it all was it had Cajun food and I use to live in Louisiana. My hubby had steak for dinner but I had this amazing gumbo with a rice ball along with boudin balls as an appetizer. Every bite was heaven. The little bit of spice in the gumbo was amazing and reminded me of Louisiana and how much I miss it, the people and the food. The chef out did himself on dinner tonight. Man I will definitely have to come back again when you have Cajun food. It's my absolute favorite. Thank you chef for an amazing birthday dinner. They've revamped their menu and schedule. They now have Trivia Tuesday, Wine Wednesday, live entertainment on Thursday, and karaoke Friday. Saturday open for dinner, closed Sunday and Monday. They have a lot of refreshing cocktails specials. The new pimento cheese poppers are gooey and fantastic! The chicken sliders are hot, crispy, and delish. I've also recently tried the bone in pork chop, which is thick, juicy, and well prepared. We picked the Copper Restaurant to celebrate our 22nd anniversary and it was the perfect choice! They are still remodeling the restaurant so we didn't get to eat on the 15th floor, but when they're done I look forward to going back to see it! Now to the food: We were able to order an appetizer from the happy hour menu. If you are able to- try the hummus with pickled onions and flat bread. Let's start with the hummus- WOW!!! We've had hummus several times but this was hands down the BEST we've ever had. It was so smooth and light, the flavor was spot on! Next the flat bread, fresh made flat bread. It came to the table still warm from frying. Wonderful appetizer! My husband had the Wagyu steak, it was so tender, melt-in-your-mouth tender! It came with roasted carrots and mashed potatoes. He was very pleased with this choice. I tried Ida's red beans and bone-in chicken. The chicken has a wonderful crust and was very juicy inside. The red beans and rice could totally stand alone as it's own dish- amazing! We finished with the cheesecake with seasonal berries. You know how the typical crust on a cheesecake is thin and soggy? This was not either of those! There was a thick crust that held up perfectly! The cheesecake itself has a slight lemon flavor to it and was refreshing. No no no. I've been there many times over the years. Every time the food was bad. The service is always fair at best. I suspect it gets highly ratings for the view or the fact it's in a "Frank Lloyd Wright" building.... As if that has any bearing on good food. I only try it when work functions are there. If you're looking for an intimate, cozy and fresh environment you need to visit. the staff was extremely friendly and the service was magnificent. The chef came out and talk to us was extremely approachable and the food was delicious we had a great time I highly recommend for couples looking for date night. Came to the bar area while waiting for the door to be fixed to our room. The staff was friendly, but it had a very odd atmosphere. We had a good drink at a reasonable price but didn't want to stay longer than we had to. It really is not much of a bar. There are a few tables and about 7 or 8 bar stools in a very small space. So it's 35 degree outside. This place is outdated from 1950's! The water was cold, the breakers went out, the furniture is old, stained. It's like a a mixture of the movie 'Blast from The Past' and 'The Shining'. There's no running restaurant. They literally kept everything the same from the 1950's. The Copper is just reopening after a metamorphosis, including selecting a new chef from a nationwide competition. It is going to do nothing but get better! Expect intimate setting, fresh and well thought out menu, wonderful service and lovely views. My salmon was extremely well cooked, husband had a delicious steak. Dinner meals will run about $100 with dinner and drinks One year later, and Copper just keeps getting better and better. Bartlesville is lucky to have this caliber of restaurant in our town! You need to try the crab bisque and the corn bread with toppings! The beet salad and the Brussels sprout salads are also wonderful. I haven't had anything that wasn't exquisite! read more

We made a special trip to Bartlesville just to stay and eat in the Price Tower and it was so worth it! Our lunch was amazing and so was the service. While the food here is absolutely delicious, we went in and were very disappointed that we didn't get to eat on the 15th floor, which is a very cool experience, and is still being advertised. Most of the staff is friendly. My order was brought at the same time as someone who ordered their burger at 12:40 (yes I verified the time) Fries were extremely soggy and tasteless. Went on Mother's Day 2022 at 5pm, only 4 people in the restaurant. Service was slow had to ask for drink refills and to ask for empty cups to be removed. Food came out and was not hot, you pay $34 for a steak and expect it to be at least warm, but no. And to make things worse the air conditioning seem to be out, it was at least 80+ degrees in there. 4 meals at a total of $145.00 I would expect better service and food. I will not and I repeat I will never go there again, and to think I took family from out of town and it was a horrible way to show off this wonder town. read more

Had a business dinner for 12, and everything was spot on! Service was exceptional, and the appetizers and desserts were fantastic. This place is so cool. The architecture and building and space is so cool. That warrants the 2 stars. However, the service, bar and restaurant are not even warranting of even one star. There has been many, many issues with several visits with numerous events I have hosted or have been to at the Copper Bar. The Executive Director, Mr. Byron Boles, doesn't seem to care whether or not the patrons enjoy themselves. That's disappointing because this place is beautiful and has a beautiful view of downtown. They also close extremely early. Often at 10:30 they will do last call and have everyone out in ten minutes or less. Food is mediocre at best. The kitchen and waitstaff are unknowledgeable and poor. I know it's hard to find good help, but seriously, no one should be subjected to the service this place provides. read more

The Frank Lloyd Wright architecture was stunning, and the funky decor of the Copper Bar matched the building's exterior in a delightful way. The bartenders were uniformly warm and polite. There's a good selection of Oklahoma beers available, but the mixed drinks we tried were just so-so. My wife got one of their house specialties, and I tried the long island iced tea--both serviceably good, but no real pizzazz to either of them. She ordered a sidecar next, and although they didn't know how to make it, they were happy to give it a whirl following her recipe. The resulting drink was adequate, but not truly up to snuff. The lemon and orange juice wasn't freshly squeezed, and she couldn't taste any cointreau. Overall, there is better food for better prices in Tulsa, but if driving 45 minutes for a nice dinner is too much of a hassle, The Copper is really your only in-town choice. read more

Bartlesville's best dining IMHO. I haven't actually eaten there since Chef Michael left, but the food I've had there would compare to the best anywhere. And the ambiance of Frank Lloyd Wright's live-in, work-in sculpture (his only completed skyscraper) doesn't hurt either. The restaurant/hotel remodel was exceptionally well done. The bar area is very small, the acoustics are awful, but it's classy and is truly a cultural oasis in the Bluestem prairie... and you can take in the museum on the first floor to complete the experience. Be sure and notice the original woven copper curtains (custom made for the Price Tower) and the huge cloisonne mural in the museum lobby. read more

High turnover rate for bartenders/staff means the quality of your drinks, food, and service will vary from visit to visit. Food is average. Small overall size of venue can leave groups larger than 4-5 feeling cramped. Like most places in Bartlesville, the hours are limited. My husband and I stayed at the Price Inn the Frank Lloyd Wright designed hotel in Bartlesville Oklahoma. We made a reservation to eat at the Copper Restaurant and Bar which is on the 15th floor. Small seating area which was comforting to us during COVID. Very simple and understated dining room but the views were amazing. The chef stopped by to see if our meal was satisfactory. We appreciated hearing from him. The food was great but simply plated. I think the chef deserves a better wait staff and should snap then into shape as the dining experience is equally important as the quality of the food. The waitress did I not pronounce the special properly and struggled with describing the menu. She also failed to bring me a steak knife with my meal and then again forgot to bring me a a fork with my dessert cake. When I reminded her she complied and brought me a spoon. We listened to the wait staff gabbing in the entry which was very distracting. I would recommend getting pepper grinders rather than salt and pepper shakers. The bartender needs to be trained or fired. Drinks were sloppy and poorly constructed. Chef...get your wait staff in order and up to par with the price point of the menu and the quality of your food. read more

Enjoyed a fantastic meal at Copper on a recent weeknight. Took advantage of the Happy Hour specials to get half off any glass of wine. The Lebanese flatbread and hummus were delicious, and the truffle fries were very tasty as well. I had the Ricotta gnocchi with butternut squash - perfect portion size and so yummy! My husband loved the Wagyu steak - very tender and perfectly grilled. My daughter had the scallops with corn risotto - another winner! Food and service excellent. Let me start by saying I'm a Jack Daniels and coke drinker. It's my favorite before dinner drink. I arrived to the Copper a little after four for an early dinner. I noticed that "happy hour" prices were 5 bucks for "well" drinks" so, thought what the heck, give me a bourbon and coke. Drink wasn't Jack but it was acceptable. During the course of the evening and with dinner, I drank two more. Imagine my surprise when the bill came and I was charged $8.50 per drink. I questioned the server and asked why? he said, "we don't have a well bourbon".....would have been nice to know that....who doesn't have a well bourbon? read more
