I spent some time walking along the waterfront paths and exploring the docks and pier. If you're not a fan of heights or being over the water, parts of the dock might feel a little intimidating. The boards are older and somewhat uneven in places, but everything felt sturdy, safe, and added to the rustic charm of the park. The weathered wood and waterfront views make for a great aesthetic, especially if you enjoy photography. Another nice feature is the local businesses nearby. Whether you're looking to grab a beer, a coffee, or something to eat, everything is within a short walking distance. If you're visiting Silverdale and want a relaxing place to take photos, have a picnic, enjoy a family outing, or simply take a peaceful walk by the water, this park is definitely worth a stop. On Saturdays it is open and more can be learned. Even the Park House is an old Farmhouse restored with some history to it. Seems Well Kept, Nice Equipment and the restrooms are clean. There is a phone number posted in the Covered area in case you want to reserve it for future dates. Close & easy to get to when you don't have time to go far.

You can see everything from River otters, ducks, geese, and the occasional deer and rabbits on the trail. The park is also connected to the dog park so after your furry friends are done playing in the park, you can wear them out more on the trail. My only grip is that pet owners need to learn to take their poop bags all the way to the garbage instead of leaving them along the trail for others to take care of. Other than that, this is a great family trail!

The restrooms were clean as was the park itself. There are plenty of picnic tables and a well-appointed playground for the littles.

The rangers were all very friendly and easy to talk to.

We hiked from the parking lot to the falls using a very well manicured trail system. Lots of areas to stop and take photos, most of the trail system is covered by huge trees providing tons of shade from the elements. If you don't want to hike the trails, you have the option to walk all the way up to the falls using a service road. I'd say ok for parents with littles and definitely recommend bringing your dog. We spent a few hours hiking here.
