When Dr. Roger Hess entered the room, instead of focusing on the appointment, he began offering explanations for his late arrival. I made it clear that the excuses were not my concern and that I wanted to move forward with the appointment professionally. What immediately stood out to me was that while I was addressing the situation, he was smiling and laughing, which came across as dismissive and unprofessional given the circumstances. Shortly after that, it became obvious he had not reviewed my referral and did not even know why I was there. At one point, he commented that he would need to read through the 10-page VA referral during the appointment itself, which confirmed he was completely unprepared. As both a veteran and a counselor, I understand healthcare offices can run behind at times. However, being over an hour late, unprepared, and unfamiliar with the reason for the visit is not acceptable--especially after a patient drives a significant distance for care. Overall, this was one of the most frustrating and unproductive medical appointments I have experienced.

He works quickly and efficiently so I didn't have to spend all day at the dentist. My dad and my cousin have both seen Dr Lee for implants and my husband had gum grafting done. It is very clear that Dr Lee works hard to make her patients comfortable and makes sure they have all questions answered. All their treatments turned out great! The office does have a pretty firm financial policy but that is to be expected with a specialty office. I will say that while they are firm, they are easy to work with and flexible when financial hardships occur.
