We bring our daughters here, and I occasionally stop in for men's mani/pedi and foot/hand massage. Very nice and courteous staff. Clean, relaxing, bright, non-flashy atmosphere with spa music playing quietly in the background. They offer basic services - manicure, pedicure, brows and lashes - plus sculpted nails, gel polish, designs, etc. Tip: less busy before 5:00 pm. I wouldnt mind going back for a refill the shaping they do is good but my only complaint would be that they did sit in front of me and talk about me so in the beginning when they glued down the tip they asked me how short i wanted it and the length was still pretty long which i assumed would get a bit shorter when they shape it so before the lady who painted my nails did the acrylic on it i asked if she could shorten them and proceeded to complain about doing it she said no they look fine and i asked again then she proceeded to say that they look better long and next time to get them long when she trimmed them down they looked completely the same and i got charged $65 for this set in any other nail salon i would only get charged $50 read more

Fun fact I learned today, there's no such thing as gel powder. Its just regular acrylic, names it gel powder to calm its better for your nails which is not because my nails where just as brittle and scams you by charger you more. They do not stick to they're prices. I need a refill one time along with one broken and he told me that just because of that I should get a whole new set because its going to cost me the same anyways which is such a ripoff when I had just gotten a new set earlier that month. I felt like they overcharged me like when did gel pedicure cost $38 dollars that should have at least come with hot stone and massage. Then I had a full set nails that needed to come off so they soaked my nails. I got a gel manicure and asked for a white flower design which i think was the owner an older male couldn't deliver so he pulls out a bunch of stickers that I didn't want. He claims he couldn't draw and his coworker is the only one that can draw. But she was in the middle with another client doing white and pink nails. So I spent $78 and I felt ripped off cause my nails have dents so it was a sloppy job. Not coming back. read more

There are huge hunks of nail acrylic under her nails. They didn't even file them off. She wanted coffin shaped nails and they are all different. Terrible all around. I ALWAYS come here. I'm a big critic when it comes to my nails and especially my eyebrows. My nails always last weeks without polish chipping (gel polish). Anytime someone asks, I always recommend Frankford Nails. All of the girls are great but V is my girl! Didn't even know my eyebrows could be arched until she blessed them with her waxing skills. Lol! I once made the mistake of going somewhere else because the location was convenient. They messed my eyebrows so bad, but the girls at Frankford Nail Salon were somehow able to save them. A co-worker had beautifully shaped eyebrows and I had to ask her where she had them done. I've had some whack eyebrow waxes in my day which is why I typically have my eyebrows THREADED. However, I can't seem to find a place close to my work and this place did a great job with the waxing. The woman was very pleasant and asked if the wax temp was ok and if I was comfortable. She invited me to inspect her work, which was perfect. I've had many complements since. I was very unimpressed with my experience here. The polish was old and thick, my manicure started chipping after 2 days. The technician's tool kit had someone else's nail clippings in it before he started working on my fingers. He also mocked me while I tried to decide which color to use, which I really didn't appreciate. I went in today looking to get a full set done by V after reading reviews and seeing pictures of her work. V was busy so Tammy asked me if she could do my nails instead and I agreed. Tammy did such an amazing job! She worked so diligently and patiently on my nails, paying attention to every detail. She even took the time to ask me my name and introduce herself which to be honest, completely made the experience for me. Another woman did my pedicure and she was just as patient and diligent. Tammy also did my eyebrows and for the first time ever I'm so happy with how they look after a wax. Like others, I come here for the eyebrows. The lady did a great job and was able to tell me my last eyebrow job was done poorly.

I gave this place a second try yesterday because I kept seeing positive reviews and pics of nails that I really liked. Let me just say, WOW!! I am so glad I gave V a shot. The last time I came, 2 women tended to me, but they were not V. If you want real attention and care paid to your nails, you must ask for V. I had been on the hunt for a salon that was more careful and attentive to their clients and in Philly, that can be difficult to come by without compromising in design abilities or acrylic/nail quality and workmanship. V took my remaining 4 nails off and gave me a new set like i requested, and gave me the nail shape and colors i asked for as well. I am very pleased. I hope the acrylic stands up to my 2 week test, but I have a feeling it will be fine. I will be going back here. I got my eye brows done also and with my nails and eye brows, total service cost was $40. CASH ONLY!!! I didnt know this. I was embarrassed, as I only had $12 cash. No worries tho. Luckily V was very understanding, apologized for the inconvenience, i left my license as insurance and ran to the Wawa down the street and took out cash. I gave her $50 on a $40 check. Next time i go, i may get fancy and see if she can do some freehand designs. I mentioned Puerto Rican nails and she seemed to know what i was talking about, so I will keep my fingers crossed!! read more

I had my nails done by Kim, she's so fast and good! She's really sweet and speaks good English! I got a full set and a pedicure both look great. My pedicure was amazing! I went on a Friday and it was pretty busy so I thought maybe they would rush through the pedicure but she didn't. It was so relaxing pretty long compared to other salons around there. I am always afraid to have new people touch my eye brows but she was really professional so I took the risk and she did a great job. They are super clean and sanitary, although the they were pretty busy they still made sure they thoroughly cleaned all pedicure bowls after each client! Will definitely be back!
