Visited Frankie Martin's Garden last night for dinner, drinks, and live music. It's a really unique and neat venue. I am familiar with 9 Mile Garden. That's a cool space - and by the way from the same owners. But Frankie Martin's was clearly designed to be a food truck and entertainment venue. There's a specific section for food trucks to park, making walking around and getting food quick & easy. There are separate buildings and sections - a whiskey bar, beer area, and dirty soda stand. There's a few private seating areas, including big covered sections and smaller clusters of chairs around fire pits, that look great for a party or special night. There are lots of covered picnic tables but I wouldn't bank on getting one unless you get there early. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets. There are corn hole games set up around and a volleyball section area I believe, but I didn't readily see it. More game options would be nice, especially for adults. We parked on the street, didn't seem like a lot of parking options. Lots of kids running around and got crowded. The band we saw, Zero to 90, was a 90's cover band and pretty good! There's also a big screen above the stage, which is a little distracting while the music is playing. I walked around before that trying to find a fountain soda and never did, so I got something from the soda stand. The soda stand closed at 8:30 last night and we didn't realize it would. The pizza I got from Savory Wheel (margarita) was pricey, but delicious. It was ready quickly, hot & tasty. My husband got rolls and rice from Bad Monkey. It is worth noting that it was a 40-minute wait for his food - much longer than expected. Each place had a buzzer that let us know when our food was ready. It can vary by truck and be confusing. My husband ordered on a screen and then had to ask for a buzzer. Everywhere we purchased from took cash or card. The website tells you what food trucks will be there as well as the entertainment schedule. It would be helpful if they had the menu or at least type of food mentioned as it's not easy to find in advance. I was looking for vegetarian options, but took my chances and luckily had something for me. We might be back, especially with a few friends or with our kids on a quieter night. I'm not sure if it was a big crowd because of the band or what, but I would prefer a less busy time for sure. read more

Love the atmosphere here. Superjam played from 7-10 pm and sounded great! The weather was excellent. Nine food trucks offered a nice variety of choices. You can find plenty of beverage options, including alcohol free drinks. Arrive well before 7:00 if you want an outside table or bring your own lawn chairs. There's plenty of room in the cushy astroturfed garden to sit. Or bring a blanket for the kids. Remember your sunblock, too. read more

I finally made it out to this adult playground. They were having an 21+ social event and it did not disappoint. Food trucks were all serving great food items from tacos, chicken , hamburgers, Philly steaks. Great variety and prices were even budget friendly. Drink specials, and variety of ciders, beers, cocktails etc. Plenty of seating and fire pit fun as well. Band playing for music vibes and big screen tv displaying sports. Staff friendly! We were big patrons of Frankie Martin's. It wasn't unusual for us to visit 3 days a week since it opened. In that time we've seen prices skyrocket and crowds get bigger and more unruly. As a result there's been a lot of changes, and not for the better. For starters, the mixed drink pours are drastically inconsistent as are the prices from the beer garden to the whiskey house. The fact that there's now a security team in place should mean that there's less chaos. It's the opposite. They literally stand around and do nothing except pick on smokers and tell them that they can't smoke except for area up near the whiskey house. There are small children running around while the parents socialize. We watched a toddler almost make it to the street where the food trucks are. A disaster waiting to happen. Great parenting. Kids kicking and throwing balls next signs that say "no playing ball". More and more we were seeing under-aged teens with zero parental guardianship doing whatever it is teenage kids do. Where are the parents? Why are they allowed in without a parent or guardian? Back to the smoking situation. Evidently you can use e-cigs wherever you want, but for cigarette and cigar smokers you're limited to sitting in area around the whiskey house. If you want to use an ash tray you have to surrender your state issued ID (also called a driver's license). I'm no attorney but that seems like a violation of the state constitution. We're seeing more and more "reserved" tables and/or areas that may or may not get used. Then we'd see people breaking the yellow tape lines or moving paper signs from table and just grabbing seats/tables. Probably not the people that these tables were reserved for, but it's understandable why they're are doing it. There's no oversight. Another thing we'd see was the security people touching people's baby bags, women's purses, backpacks and strollers. I'm pretty sure that's a big no no. You can't touch someone's personal belongings without permission. I get it, more people, more rules but what used to be a fun relaxing time, is no longer. read more

Frankie Martin's Garden is such a fun spot with a really cool concept! I love the food truck variety and the taco truck is usually my go-to, but the snow cone truck is amazing as well. There's really something for everyone, which makes it perfect for families. The pickleball courts are incredible--I counted at least six. On a Saturday, it was so fun to play, grab a drink, and just enjoy the live music. The whole vibe is relaxed, lively, and really welcoming. The servers are always have great service too, even when it's busy. I'm so glad Frankie Martin's is in Cottleville. It's one of my favorite spots to bring out of town guests! read more

Margarita Festival turned into the most unexpectedly perfect day out. We had 10 pours plus 2 bonus tastings, so it truly felt like a full-on flavor tour from booth to booth. The drinks were delicious and varied, and that incredible chicken quesadilla between sips absolutely hit the spot. Even though it was a little chilly, the sun peeked out just enough to make it feel festive instead of freezing. The fire pits and heaters were a total lifesaver and made it easy to hang out, chat, and really enjoy the experience. Every stop offered something different, which kept the whole event exciting from start to finish. The vibe was lively, colorful, and full of people just there to have a good time. Safe to say, this is officially a new birthday month tradition. read more

I have always seen Frankie Martin's on my Facebook events page advertising events that they are having and thought one day I'll go. Well the day came so a friend and I went to an event that was for adults only and I really enjoyed myself. There were at least 5 food trucks and I chose Goodies food truck and got chicken strips and fries, cant go wrong with that. The service at the bar was quick even with there being a host of people ordering. There was live music, firepits, and a jumbo TV to watch, it was very well lit once the night fell which made the ambiance even prettier. Im glad I went and would love to go back for other events. read more

High school reunions, Homecoming and weddings made it very difficult to get here and park. It was so crowded and noisy from the high school reunions that it was really not that enjoyable. Might be nice on a normal day but today, so so at best. Beer was cold and fine, but we left after one beer due to the crowds and noise. Just visited Frankie Martin's Garden for the first time while meeting up with some coworkers and their families! It was a VERY hot Wednesday night, and I think the place was pretty empty because of that. Because my partner and I had never been here before, we weren't sure where to park, but there's street parking all around, as well as a public lot nearby that we found an open spot in. Not sure how many food truck options are usually there, but there were only two to choose from when I went. My partner and I wanted to get the full experience, so we ordered a little something from both food trucks! The employees working at both were extremely friendly and efficient. The venue itself is so fun. I felt bad for the live musician who had to perform in the unbearable heat, but he persevered and did a great job. There's plenty of seating options, and everything is nice and spread out. At the bar, I had a peach margarita that definitely earned my approval. My partner had a rum-based skinny dip cocktail, and it was super refreshing in the heat. I loved to see so many people playing on the pickleball courts! The sand volleyball court also looked nice. This is not an isolated pattern of behavior; in previous years, I was even forced to return a bottle of water to my car in extreme 95+ degree heat. First time here. This is an outside open air, sit and listen to the band playing sort of family fun place. Very clean, comfortable chairs and hanging lights make this a lovely fun place to hang out and listen to free music. Then add in a bunch of food trucks offering a nice variety and it is now a destination. Also so far, we have not noticed anyone smoking and we appreciate that! Just above the band playing is a huge TV with the Cardinals playing. So, now they really have covered the bases. This place has events going on all the time during the week and weekends. We came here for Saint Patrick's and Easter. Free events. Plenty of entertainment and food trucks of all kinds of flavors. Very well kept area up to date style. Service was a bit slow for my liking. Golf cart accessible and good cop security. Wish they had a cross walk by food trucks way too busy of a street. Really nice outdoor venue for food drinks and family fun. We stopped in in part because the La Colombionita food truck was here. There was also a BBQ truck and a baked potato truck. Many of the concerns mentioned in earlier reviews seem to have been addressed. Soft drinks are available in the Beer Barn. A crosswalk signal has been installed to help pedestrians across Highway N. There's a public parking lot behind Frankie Martin's. Sand volleyball and pickleball courts provide extra entertainment to the live music and oversize TV sports stream. I arrived shortly before 9pm and the live country rock band, lively crowd, and STL City soccer game on the big screen provided a lot to watch and enjoy. There were only four food trucks and they were closing up. So, I couldn't judge the dining options other than to say ice cream, tacos, wings/chicken, and sandwiches were available. FM seems designed for families and judging by the number of kids running around, its operators have succeeded. It's clean throughout. Parking is convenient--there's a separate lot for golf carts. Bathrooms are available (with A/C!) and were clean despite the large crowd. Complementary cold water was available in the Beer Barn, and there were fountains outside the restrooms. Hi! I was bitten by a dog owned by one of the owners of this location. The management team said they would cover the medical bill of this incident. We called back to inform the manager of this incident shortly after this happened. Suddenly they claimed not to have any involvement. Absolutely distrustful and will say anything to keep business coming through the front door. Good beer but be aware of who you are doing business with. read more

This is for Frankie Martin's itself, not the food trucks. It's a nice place, but you need to get here early to get a table (especially if there is an event going on that they're reserving tables for). If you're having trouble find a spot to park, you're going to have a problem finding a table. No soda fountain. If you're not drinking alcohol, you're probably better off getting a beverage off of one of the trucks. A bottle of soda is $3. For that price I want refills or at least to have it come from a fountain. They used to have the food truck schedule on the website, now you've got to check the Facebook page. That can be erratic (so can some of the trucks). Really you need to just drive by to see who actually showed up and is serving at any given time. If the weather sucks, you're going to have a bad time. Though it may be less crowded (assuming it's open). The food truck lineup (at least the regulars) is kind of 'meh' at the moment. Will award additional star(s) if it improves in the future. read more

My family and I were invited by friends to come to the big truck day. If it weren't for meeting friends we would have just left. This was our first time there and as soon as we got there one of the employees told us there is no outside food or drinks allowed. While I 100% understood for business purposes when you sell food and drinks of course you want to make money. When a customer tells you that they have food allergies and can't eat what is offered anyways. Which was only 1 of the 4 who would have bought from the trucks. So you still could have made money off my family. The bigger issue was my drink had electrolytes in it that I need for health reasons. Especially on a humid/hot summer day. The guy didn't care and said I couldn't bring it in. Needless to say we didn't stay long because there wasn't as many trucks there as we expected and I was getting light headed. When you have a customer that has health issues please do better. My husband was so upset how we were treated that we didn't eat there and when we left we ate somewhere else. I have never had any business tell me I can't bring in my own food when I mention my allergies. This is the first time in over 10 years an exception was not made. You really need to do better. The electrolytes and health issues related to the drink is new for me so I can't compare but I can tell you it's wrong to not care about the customers health on your property. read more

I'm very disappointed in this place. I came here with some friends to celebrate my college graduation. The website said there were going to be 3 different food trucks and there was only one food truck that actually sold food. The other food truck was ice cream. None of the food trucks that were posted on their site were there. We were stuck buying food from the one truck there that was super overloaded with orders and took forever to get food because it was the only truck. We spent most our time there waiting for our food. Also, we had bought multiple drinks that were not cheap. It was a very hot day and after eating fried food (because that was the only option for food) I asked the bar for a cup of water. They refused to give me a cup of water in 96 degree weather! The patio was really nice but will not come again due too lack of food options and refusal of a simple cup of water on a hot day! read more

It was a crappy experience. we got together with one friend who brought their own alcohol, and the rest spent over $50 on food and drinks on property, we were approached told that every week we come in and bring our own alcohol and spoil business and were ALL kicked out, and they even took our friends cooler and threatened to call the cops for asking for it back, she assumed everyone was underage and didn't allow anyone to show an ID for proof, and never gave it back. safe to say we are never coming back, they claim signs are up, which are but cant be seen in the dark places they are in.
