Went here with a large party for a Friday evening meal. The indoor dining area is not overly large, but they do have a great patio. Our group was 10 people so they sat us inside. Service is the strength of this establishment. Although we had a one waiter assigned, numerous others assisted. They were always attentive and helpful. We had a terrible first experience at Frankie's and haven't been back since. We came in and were maybe one of four tables. I always order chicken fajitas anytime we try a Mexican or Tex-Amex place for the first time. My husband ordered sour cream chicken enchiladas, also his go to. The chicken was dry, overcooked and had zero flavor - so I asked the waiter if he could take it back and I'd prob order something else. The waiter seemed perplexed, took the fajitas away and never came back to our table. My husbands enchiladas weren't an issue but that was the last time we saw the waiter, at all. I had to flag someone else down and explain what had transpired and they said, 'ok', then proceeded to bring us the check. Fajitas still on the receipt, I literally had half of a bite of one strip of a piece of chicken...so we complained once again on deaf ears, with literally no concern or interest in making it right. Good food but very frustrated this trip. Special birthday dinner for my wife and family on a Friday night. Called at 11:00am to ensure we could get a table for 8. They don't take reservations but the lady guaranteed me a table for 8 at 7 since it was a larger party and a special event. As you might guess by my crappy rating, we get there at 6:50, greeted by a long line of people waiting for a table. And, of course, no frigging reservations. We also ordered queso for an appetizer, and there is complementary chips and salsa. Let's start with the queso and salsa. It was queso blanco, which I usually don't like so I was concerned but it ended up being delicious. I love queso and was happy with it. The salsa was really good too, not too spicy but the right amount of kick. The appetizer was so delicious I didn't know if I could handle the entree. My boyfriend loved his chimichanga, says it was delicious. My enchiladas were also good. It wasn't extraordinary but definitely solid, if you're craving authentic Mexican food I'd say this is a great spot. They also have brunch specials there on the weekend, if you're looking for a brunch spot. The service was great and prompt. Very polite and they were checking on us often. I've ordered carry out a few times and had Sunday brunch two times. The food was always perfectly cooked and tasted good. For new patrons, I recommend that you read the menu carefully. Some of the dishes are not traditional Tex Mex and Frankie's puts its own spin on their dishes. Some are good, some are strange (like fries with a burrito), and some completely different (white queso, and mashed potato enchiladas with brisket.) However, their drink selection is really good. They have cucumber margaritas which were amazing and jalapeño margaritas which were "different". Overall, I really enjoy the food and its always served piping hot. A co-worker recommended this place and man am I glad she did. I have had 2 different entrees so far, Angie's Enchiladas $13.50 and Best-Seller Brisket Enchiladas $15.00. I will start with the Brisket one, which is unique. It has mashed potato filled enchiladas which sounded off but actually works well with the sauce. The only down to this dish was the brisket was a bit tough, otherwise it was tasty a flavorful. Now, for Angie's, this was just a bomb of flavor, has cut up sausage and fajita veggies.
