    Pub-Dry Locust Cider 10/10

Let me start out by saying, my husband and I have been coming to this location for over 4 years. We love trying new beers/ciders and the chill vibe. The food here is wonderful and most recently we tried their "spread". We got the large one and was a little disappointed in the amount of mustard, jalapeño jelly, and meets/cheeses in comparison to the mass amount of bread. Almost felt like a bread tray with a few extra things thrown on. We've gotten the pizza and nachos before which were all delicious and perfectly portioned out. My second complaint was the service. The bartender seemed genuinely annoyed that we were ordering, then even more annoyed when we sat at the bar. We had to flag him down after several minutes each time our glasses were empty, and...... we said thank you each time and were ignored. It may be silly but even one acknowledgement of our thanks would have gone a long way. We love this place, we truly do.. but the service we received most recently definitely made us think twice about returning soon.

Stopped by Guitars & Growlers this past Tuesday with a group of friends to participate in weekly trivia! We had a great time chowing down on the food and enjoying the vibes. The thanksgiving sandwich I got was on the blander side but I really enjoyed the jalapeño soup and the cold cut Italian sub that my husband ordered. Also liked the cider I got as a drink. We'll probably be back again next year to try out Tuesday night trivia again, it was a blast!

So as you know Dallas had yet their annual February freeze. On Thursday when we were clear to safely travel we headed over for a beer and lunch combo. For an appetizer, we ordered the pretzel and beer cheese for $7.99 and it was awesome. The bread was warm and soft and the creamy beer cheese was such a great dipping added on. These pretzels are salted however the salt is easy to take off if you are not happy with that kind of pretzel. I ordered the cup of creamy jalapeño soup for $3.99 and oh man I would have gotten the bowl if I wasn't already sipping on a beer and had some bread to keep me full. The creaminess is there so it's filling. The crackers seem to be coated in olive oil and have some added flavor with spices which were better than if they had just given a plain Saltine cracker. The entree of choice was a lunch combo $9.00 Tripping Turkey & Cheese: turkey, bacon, pepper jack, spring mix pesto/ sourdough, and for the side the cup of cowboy beer chili. For the sandwich, the nice touch was the pesto sauce. My favorite chili is from Wendy's there version was Spicer and had more flavor, it also contains beans!! Loved their beer flight just wish it had labels so that when it came to ordering a full beer ot would have been easier to recall however, the flight board is way cool!

Someone had recommended we try this place out, and we're glad we did. The atmosphere is on the small, cozy side and it is a bit eclectic. They offer counter service for both food no beverages. The bartender/server was great at helping us navigate things and finalize what we ordered. The place had several smaller groups of people. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and this wasn't a night where they had live music. We started with the small charcuterie board. We enjoyed all of the meats, cheeses and other items on the spread. My husband went with the G&G TX Fav sub that features a variety of meats and toppings. My husband had no problems finishing it all. I went with the Cuban and it was tasty as well. We look forward to our next visit to enjoy the environment when they have live music to enjoy as well.

We try to stop in here when we are on this side of town. They have a tap wall with nice options, including some wine options on tap. They have a nice selection of sandwiches, salads, and flatbreads. The space is cute and you might have guessed, music themed! They also do events such as music bingo and they have live music stage. It's a great place to check out!

We only went for a couple drinks and maybe it was because of the drink choices we chose but the beers were OK. It's a nofe environment kind of smaller than I thought and it looks like there's live music things like that going on. the food looked really good so we will definitely make it back. Maybe just try different beer.

Visited this bar today with a friend to check out their Tuesday Trivia Night! They had a 4th of July theme with it being the week of the holiday, and it was lots of fun. Heads up: They have wine and beers but no liquors, so no cocktails. All food and drink orders are made at the bar, and food is bussed to you. I had a bbq flatbread that tasted good, although the flatbread was over done so I picked around the crust. The trivia was 2hrs that went by fast! Nice space, but it was freezing cold in there. Overall an a-ok time, and I'd come back for trivia

There is an entire complex of multi-story apartment buildings in the area and then businesses like this one for all of the residents to walk to. Parking is available around the complex, but it looks like you have to pay through an app. On the day I visited the brewery, there was an event there, so parking was full. I ended up parking in the park and ride lot for the train station. Parking was plentiful and free at the DART station, and the walk through the promenade to the brewery was nice. The brewery has an outdoor patio with tables and chairs. There is even a cut through window so you can order beer from the bar without walking inside. They have both food and drink menus. You can leave your tab open, take your beer to the table, and the food will be brought to you if you remember to put the food order number flag on your table. The beer selection was mostly from the various local breweries. I got a flight of beer so that I could sample several. I ordered a personal pizza too. It hit the spot. It was on thin flatbread. The Margherita is a favorite of mine. I brought my dog with me. He was allowed on the outdoor patio, but not inside, so I didn't go in. From what I could see, it's a very large room. There are TVs hanging everywhere so you can see a game from any place you sit. Tables vary in size and can accommodate singles as well as big groups. I will most likely return because of event meetings taking place here monthly. It's a decent place to hangout for a drink and a chat with friends.

They are equipped with large TVs and chill vibes in an open, airy environment with a fantastic selection of cold beer on tap. Our server was very nice and helped me pick a smooth pale ale. I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted so I went for the lemon pepper rub wings. My cousin ordered the Nashville chicken pizza which is her absolute favorite item. I must say the wings were disappointing - they were fried ok but the lemon pepper rub was mostly absent. The meat also tasted super processed and smelled of chemicals which was very unpleasant. No amount of dunking these bad boys in ranch was gonna fix that. The pizza on the other hand was amazing, even though it was very different than the rope of pizza I'm used to in New York I appreciated the crust, the spicy pieces of chicken and a drizzle of that balanced it all together. The pizza was truly a highlight and paired so well with my beer, it's a shame that I have to knock some stars off for the wings in this review. I hope they can up the level of food and make it as stellar as the pizza. Otherwise this is a solid joint to pour yourself a cold one and catch a game.

We only saw 2 workers the whole time we were there which made sense with how slow it was. Ordered some drinks and they were not the best. My partner did not enjoy his at all since it was basically just margarita mix. We quickly noticed that the prices on the menu were modified, handwritten new prices with pen on paper than was then taped over the old prices, with many dishes having increased by $5 compared to the prices shown on their website. We get it, inflation has been crazy, but that seemed drastic. The food was fine but in our opinion definitely not worth the increased prices. My dish (Rib Eye) was a good portion size and the flavor was fine, but it didn't blow my mind. The Arroz Poblano was a very sad portion size. Service was very slow throughout our whole visit, which is wild because we were the only ones there. An explanation on the delay between drop ins would've been nice. Sadly it just didn't meet our expectations and I'm not sure we will return. Maybe it was an off day for them, because many other reviews are filled with praise, but as of now we'll just opt for other Latin food spots we know.
