I would absolutely not recommend taking your pet to this veterinarian (Dr. Mullins). Our dog loves everyone but does not like her. She does not have a good disposition with animals and constantly talks about our dog's vulva frequently, which is unnecessary. Additionally, we believe this vet is a money grab and does not look out for the best interest of the pet and owner. Every time you go to the vet is no less than $300-$500. read more

I live across the street and have taken both my dogs and my cat here for years. My siberian husky had gone there for 12 years, since he was a puppy. He got out recently and was unfortunately killed by a car. I can't tell you how helpful and nice they were. Took care of his remains and let me say goodbye, no appointment and gave us the room for as long as needed. They had even stayed late before to help my dog. They have also let us drop off for an appointment and pick up later in the day. I feel it can be a little pricey but I have never had issues with treatment. I love this vet. Even after moving an hour away, I would never change to another vet. Dr. Mullen is so kind, understanding of dogs animals with very specific needs, and so patient with new pet owners that are learning everything from scratch. You can tell that she absolutely always has my dog's best interest in mind. If she was an exotics vet, I would bring my other pets here too. I brought my dog here for her first appointment about 2 or 3 months after adopting her from the rescue. Dr. Mullen informed me that pets should be brought for an appointment right after adoption, but did not say it in a shaming or condescending way. She just wanted to inform me so I had the right information. She also gave me tons of printed articles to read, but took the time to select only the ones that were relevant to my specific situation. For example, she gave me an article about dogs peeing on beds specifically (as this was a recurring issue for us) rather than just a general one on potty training. I have read all of the bad reviews that have been posted here about this clinic, and these people are all very confused and misinformed. They complain about not wanting to spend money on vaccines and medications that make their pets comfortable. Please do not listen to any of these people. Dr. Mullen is an incredible veterinarian. read more

Our two dogs have gone to Franklin Falls for three years. The vet techs are always very friendly and helpful. Our dogs don't love going to any vet, and everyone there is so patient with them. When we first started going there I asked my aunt to check out some of our bills (she runs her own vet practice in northern Indiana - too far for us to drive), and she said the prices were very reasonable. We also checked out another vet in the area and weren't fans. We definitely found the best place for us! read more

Service is becoming a joke. Your protocols for service/entry are not serving and protecting the customer. Called and put on hold for 15 minutes while you serviced customer that arrived after us, but walked up to the door. If you are going to not enforce rules don't have them. Had to call back to get service. Will be looking for next vet clinic. Avoid this clinic! read more

This is, by far, one of the best Vets in the Indianapolis area, Very thorough, and they do NOT put you through a profit algorithm trying to find ways to increase your bill with extra exams etc. They are 1/2 the cost of the Corporate VCA's in the area. read more

I would not recommend this vet they are quite pricey. I have a dog with food allergies and I went here for 2 years and there was little to no help on finding the allergen. All they wanted to do was prescribe expensive meds and send me on my way. The last time I went they gave me meds to help with her scooting that she developed from switching foods so often. These meds were antipsychotics and made my dog a zombie. I called and asked why they gave them to me and they said it was to rule out a behavioral scooting. This was never said to me during or after the visit only when I called concerned because my dog seemed to be dead inside. I don't appreciate them experimenting on my dog with drugs. I was told one thing then the drugs did another. read more

I have a rabbit who is often not able to be seen by regular vets. My rabbit had stopped eating and I was very worried, within the first few minutes of talking to the clinic they offered to see him without having an appointment. They were extremely nice, caring and explained everything thoroughly to me. I'm confident that my sweet bunny will be ok. read more

I brought my 6 year-old cat in for a wellness check, as a first time client/patient. The cat had been experiencing severe wheezing, coughing and the appearance of difficulty in swallowing for several days. Mullen, the veterinarian, told me I should have made a VIDEO of the cat during a wheezing spell. My god, who would have thought of filming their pet during a such a time, and how could anyone think of starting a camera, pushing it up under a sick animal's face, and then recording it? Am I a movie director, who would tell the cat what to do and how to do it, for the sake of a silly woman doctor's ridiculous nonsense? This "doctor" did not administer treatment to my cat in any way, even though she agreed with me that the cat was not feeling well. At the very least she should have provided my cat with a mild antibiotic to ally symptoms and possibly prevent further issues. But no. During the exam, Mullen said the cat had been well-taken care of, but had some wax in her ears. Would it have hurt this woman to have mildly cleaned the cats ears, as this is a difficult procedure, requiring delicate touch, and an animal doctor could have done it better than I? But no, Mullen didn't want to help my cat at all, apparently. A cotton swab or two with a bit of oil was too much to give of this "doctor." In asking about giving current vaccinations, the technician told me that my ADULT cat should be given the full compliment once, and then should RETURN FOR A SECOND ROUND of the same dosage in a couple weeks! This is complete baloney and a financial rip-off. Her reasoning was to "make sure the vaccinations take." How many times would they have to be done in order to "take." What poppy-cock and what a fraud. In sixty years of pet ownership I have NEVER heard such a lie. Further, if Mullen thought, as she said, that my cat was healthy that visit, there is no reason why she shouldn't have been vaccinated at the time. Mullen just wanted two more office visits, plus payment for two UNNECESSARY rounds of vaccine. No, Mullen, you aren't going to get even one. I was charged $96.00 for this, including a heartworm and fecal lab, that was supposed to have included 1/4 off for the initial visit, making this visit of nearly nothing, a fee of $135.00. read more

The place is a joke. The office staff is friendly sometimes. The techs especially the male is horrible. One of our first visits he got mad because our dog scratched him. He's a puppy. Sorry. I asked he not handle our dog after that. Then when asking questions to the vet she hands you handouts that you can find yourself on the internet for free. She has no real advise to give. Another option is to refer you to a behavioral specialist at $100 or more an hour. I should have known then but silly me came back because it is conveniently located. When it was time to have him fixed I was quoted a little under $500. I asked about all the extras included and was told it was teeth cleaning and IV and nails trimmed and this and that. I said can we do it without all the extras and was told most of it was a have to. Amazingly, we took him to a low cost clinic who did it and trimmed his nails for $65 and he lived and is great. When he needed his Bordatella for a kennel stay it was a hassle because they couldn't handle him. I asked if I could give it to him since it was oral and told no and they took him back without me. When the tech brought him out she said if we came back that he would need to be given doggy Xanax for every appointment. I stated I would talk to the vet about that. I don't think a dog needs Xanax to make their job easier. He really isn't difficult. Fast forward to today. I wanted to order his flea medicine online to save time and money. I was told I needed to find another vet. That our relationship wasn't working out! Really. Just because I choose not to spend an obscene amount of money on my dog for things we can get cheaper? Not worth it. It really isn't. Find someone who is a true vet who loves animals and isn't about how much money they can make off you. Obviously we will be choosing another vet. read more
