Deplorable. You call, they don't call back. Call again 1 week later. They say the person you need is on vacation. Call back the following week, they say she's still on vacation. Either the person you need is on Maternity Leave and didn't leave a single note, or the system is permanently crashed. Either way, not good customer service. When I finally could get ahold of Mary, the lady in charge of the condo unit I own (before GBP from Boston took over in Nov. 2012), she seemed polite, sweet, apologetic, yet a bit dumb. Sadly, Mary left out one important detail. See, the unit I was contemplating had extensive (read: more than $10,000 worth) of water damage. When most people buy a foreclosure, they expect SOME damage. But it's a 1br. condo in a huge complex, the 2nd floor of a 5 floor building. By misleading myself, my fiance (who lives with me), and BOTH my realtors, Mary unintentionally set her company up for a lawsuit. A lawsuit which will probably be coming up very shortly... So yes, though the Condo Trust switched from FSM last fall, the NEW management company took the proverbial "ball" that FSM dropped, then threw it in the pond out back! Terrible... talk about a company who walked into something bad, made it worse, then bowed out just in time for an even criminally worse company to enter. Classy, huh? Did I mention they charge $25 a piece for "additional" swipe keys even though they KNEW two adults, both of whom are EMPLOYED, and not at the same company as each other, were living there?!? They KNEW we were first time homebuyers because I made the mistake of telling the truth on that page of my mortgage paperwork (it WAS my first time, after all, I'd never seen mortgage paperwork before March 2012). I now understand why the PREVIOUS OWNER who bought the unit in 2005 for 3x what I paid decided it'd be easier to simply walk out on her mortgage & take the loss in credit score...
