Choosing a carpet with the sales person stalking you was uncomfortable We did choose a carpet They where very good to accommodate us on the installation date The installer maker up and damaged / all of the pristine new 6" baseboard. He also cut the carpet outside on my driveway If I did not observe the driveway stones that were on the back of the carpet He would have just laid it done I need to stop he Than I vacuumed that off I discovered the baseboard damage after I tipped him and he left My concerns were addressed to management All I wanted was my tip back They offered to have someone come out and fix it But after the above experience I declined that read more

Horrible horrible experience. I do not recommend this company. I picked out tile for a powder room. After paying a deposit, I received an email that it was not available. I needed to make a second trip to pick out a new tile. Waited weeks for the installation date ( tile install and new baseboard). On the day of the tile install, I was informed they could not do the baseboard that day as I was told and was promised they would be out to finish the following Monday or Tuesday. No one called, no one showed up, no one returned my email or calls. When I finally heard from my sale rep., she said she didn't know when they could get out to finish the project! Horrible customer service and horrible attitude. I have never had such a hard time as I did with this company. read more

Wish I had read these reviews first - I have lived in Franklin over 30 years and have done business with Franklin Tile since they opened (3 houses). Built my 4th house and the contractor used Franklin tile. First thought was - great, I know these guys. So when we put hardwood through-out the house I didn't anticipate a problem. Boy was I wrong. 1) from where I am writing this I can see 9 pieces of hardwood less then 1 foot long in a 3 square foot area. They must have used every off-cut from my house and some they saved from a prior job. 2) there are 5 places where there is a lip where the floor boards but up against each other 3) the baseboards look like they were cut by a blind one-armed monkey. 4) nail holes and gaps were not filled. On the move-in inspection Anthony (The owner) blamed the large number of short boards on the manufacturer "The boxes came that way" and promised to come back with 'one of his guys' and resolve some of the problems. Several months later after no word from Anthony, I reached out to the contractor (Lobisser Building Corp) who also promised he would get Anthony to call me. It has been a year and multiple calls to Franklin Tile and to the builder and now I am starting to find floor boards that are actually CRACKING. I am refinishing my basement and had another flooring contractor in to quote the job- they looked at my kitchen floor and said "Let me guess - Franklin Tile". read more

I've gone in here twice for two separate bathroom remodels knowing what I wanted with the intention of seeing it in person and placing an order. While in the store I received decent help though the particular people I worked with had to ask others for the things I was looking for. My issue with this place is they don't follow through! I literally would have placed the order the day I was in there but they insisted on following up with an email quote. Fine. Then days go by. Then a week. No quote. Does this store exist to do something other than sell flooring? It must! I'm not going to beg you to sell me thousands of dollars worth of tile. What a waste of time! read more

My experience was similar to what Maggie posted. I went to the Grove Street showroom, looked at flooring, and made an appointment for a rep to come to my home to take measurements. The guy showed up on time, was pleasant, and took the measurements. He told me that I would hear from the sales department with a quote within 3-4 days. That was 3 weeks ago! Really annoying! We just had our bathroom remodeled and used Franklin Tile to purchase all the tile, etc for the job. Jan and Jenn were extremely helpful in helping us to decide on styles and colors. Toreti Tile Specialists did all the construction of the new shower and tile for the shower and the floor. We originally had a fiberglass shower stall and we had it removed and they built a whole new shower and tiled the walls and floor of the shower and bathroom floor. I cannot say enough about the team at Franklin tile. We also worked with Paul and Brian the project manager . Luiz and Matheus from Toreti Construction were absolutely amazing! You will not find a better team, their work was meticulous and done with absolute perfection. They were artists at their craft, nicest pair of guys, so considerate and made sure you were pleased with the job. Two really hard working guys. I cannot stop looking at the new bathroom, What an improvement! I highly recommend Franklin Tile for your tile and definitely ask for Toreti Construction to do the job, you will NOT be disappointed!! read more

We were just beginning to make tile selections when Covid hit. The Company did an excellent job of making accommodations right away. They left tile in a bag outside the door on their step for easy pickup and return. Eventually, we had to meet inside and again, everyone distanced as recommended and hand sanitizer was available. Meanwhile Jenn helped with tile selections. She made excellent recommendations based on prior phone conversations with our decorator. We did not waste time being inside for hours. Ultimately, the tile in five bedrooms was installed and the workmanship was very good. I would not hesitate to recommend Franklin Tile to anyone. It may be off the beaten path but well worth the trip. read more

Their carpet installer ruined our floors, trim and stairs. He was very rough and careless. We found out just how bad his carelessness was when we had our carpet removed. This person used a razor on both sides of each stair marking our beautiful wood. He put over 100 staples in each stair and multiple staples in all of out thresholds. In addition we had poor guidance on our carpet selection. They sold us a very expensive carpet that we had to replace three years later. We called the owner and the store and were promised a call back and no one returned our calls. Disgraceful! read more

Stay away! Pricey and bad service! We special ordered a rug and it was the wrong color then reordered only to get right color but wrong color edging around rug. That's when they decided to let us know that we couldn't pick color of edging! That would've been nice to know before we paid for it. Also took extremely long to get the product in! I had kitchen tile (counter back splash) done. It was a marble mosaic, and a very tricky and laborious install. The installer was there for 10 hours the first day and 5 hours the second. The quality of his work was superb, and he was very methodical in his approach. Franklin Tile sent their overboss out at the beginning and ending of the job to make sure everything was going well. If you get tile done by these folks, I would suggest you as they send Luan to do the work. The guy's only 23 but he's already a great craftsman. I was surprised, however, that the price was so high. It works out to about $110 per hour for the labor. But, as they say, the pain of a poorly done job lasts far longer than the pain of paying a high price. I would not hesitate to use these people again, especially if they agreed to send Luan. read more

What amazing customer service! We recently renovated our full bath and due to holiday travel had to speed through the selection process. Jenn could not have been more helpful! She gave me all the time I needed to select flooring, tile and grout and took all my design anxiety away. My daughter and I spent a delightful morning with her brainstorming ideas and left with samples of everything in order to confirm our choices in our space. Jenn was also extremely helpful in terms of helping me stick to my budget, going so far as to research items online that came in super high from my other vendor. The icing on the cake was when I learned after the fact that on Christmas Eve the owner of the store left a holiday party to deliver an item that had been mistakenly left out of my order just to ensure my project would be completed on time. We recently needed flooring for our entire downstairs of our colonial house, We went to many stores and received estimates from different companies. We then went to Franklin Tile Carpet One. Our salesperson, Blanca was very knowledgeable, letting us take time to choose different samples to take home. Their products and selections were varied and of great quality and warranties. The gentleman that came to our home for measuring was excellent - the end job had very little waste. We ordered and made an install date. We are thrilled with the workmanship and work ethic of their crew. As they laid the floor, they chose very carefully which planks to use so that the overall effect was beautiful. We had rugs installed as well. Again we can not say enough good things about the quality and work ethnics of their people. Every day the area was cleaned before they left. Franklin Tile Carpet One is by far the best group of flooring pro's I have worked with in many years. I have bought, refurbished and sold many properties. These folks listen, are courteous, on time and super responsive. Recently during a bathroom refurbishment, we encountered multiple issues due to the home being 50+ years old. These problems were only discovered on the day this group was to perform their service. Not only did the installer immediately communicate this issue to the owner, but he went back to the store, and they problem solved. And let me add, this problem was NOT part of their general services. I couldn't believe it as I was sure I was going to have to hire a contractor to solve the issue.
