From…read morebeginning, with scheduling, to finishing, with my issue being fixed, I had a five-star+ experience. Everyone was so helpful with amazing communication. Andrew, my electrician, was extremely thorough with explaining the process, step by step, of what he was doing - keeping me in the loop. He located the issue, fixed it, even making sure to take preventative measures for the surrounding area. The price was very fair as well! Andrew was friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely neat! Hands down, I would highly recommend ECO Electric for all your electrical needs!

As veterans, and with me being a retired law enforcement officer, my husband and I would not…read morerecommend this company based on our experience. My husband called Eco Electric because two outlets in our kitchen were not working. We expected to pay the standard service call fee, which was around $60 and possibly, if needed, $289 diagnostic fee. The electrician, Andrew "Drew", arrived and my husband explained the problem. Andrew gestured toward an area of the kitchen and said the issue was probably there, referring to where the GFCI outlet was located. However, before performing any diagnostic work or even checking the outlet, he had my husband sign an agreement authorizing a $289 diagnostic charge. Andrew then stepped outside, came back in, walked directly to the area he had pointed out earlier, moved a medicine box that was blocking a GFCI outlet we didn't even realize was there, and simply pressed the reset button. The outlets immediately started working. At that point, my husband asked if the diagnostic charge was still necessary since the problem had already been resolved. Andrew told him the charge still applied because he had already signed the paperwork, even though the issue had been fixed before any actual diagnostic work had taken place. That is what left us feeling misled. Our concern has never been about paying for honest work or a legitimate diagnostic. Our concern is that we were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic fee before basic troubleshooting was performed, and once the simplest possible fix restored power, we were still expected to pay the full diagnostic charge simply because the paperwork had already been signed. Andrew seemed like a nice person, but that doesn't change how the process was handled. I don't know whether the technicians are paid on commission or another type of incentive, but as a customer, the process felt dishonest and misleading. My husband later spoke with Bill, who I believe was the manager or someone in a supervisory role. Unfortunately, my husband found him dismissive and defensive of the complaint. He didn't seem interested in truly listening and even interrupted my husband before he had finished explaining what had happened. To Bill's credit, he said he would speak with Andrew to hear his side of the story and call my husband back. When Bill called back, he did agree to reduce the charge by $100, which we appreciated. During that conversation, my husband explained that, going forward, their technicians should provide a more thorough explanation and perform basic troubleshooting before asking customers to authorize expensive diagnostic charges. Otherwise, the process can leave customers feeling misled and can come across as deceptive. What was especially disappointing was reading the comments Andrew entered on our invoice afterward. He (Bill or Andrew) wrote that the customer "was not happy with having to pay for the diagnostic" and that he "wouldn't be able to work with him again." That is simply not an accurate representation of what happened. Our complaint was never about paying a fair diagnostic fee. Our concern was the lack of communication, the order in which things were handled, and the misleading process. We were asked to authorize a $289 diagnostic charge before the most basic troubleshooting step--checking and resetting the GFCI outlet--was even attempted. Once that button was pressed, the outlets worked immediately. We appreciated the $100 reduction, but that doesn't change how this experience was handled or how our concerns were documented afterward. As veterans, my husband and I expect honesty, transparency, and integrity from the companies we hire. Unfortunately, this experience fell far short of those expectations, and we will not be using or recommending Eco Electric in the future.

Got an immediate return call, but the earliest visit to evaluate the situation was the following Wednesday. Understandable, but not ideal. Next called Central Power. Owner George Diaz answered. Experiencing a major electrical failure on Memorial Day was an absolute Nevada homeowner nightmare…read more Our main power box failed unexpectedly, and like most people would expect on a holiday, I couldn't get a single electrician to answer the phone. Understandable, but still incredibly stressful when you're suddenly without power. Ampere Electric was the exception. Not only did they answer the phone, they had someone at my house within an hour. Unfortunately, by the time they arrived it was late in the evening and there wasn't much that could safely be done until NV Energy could disconnect service the next morning. What impressed me was that they didn't make promises they couldn't keep. Instead, they told me exactly what would happen: they would coordinate with NV Energy first thing in the morning, get the power disconnected, and begin work immediately. That's exactly what happened. Patricio and Carlos arrived early and worked hard all day. They replaced the equipment, completed the installation, and had everything finished by around 3 PM. At that point, the only thing left was waiting for NV Energy to return so final restoration could take place. Unfortunately, NV Energy was completely inundated and running far behind schedule. This is where Ampere really separated themselves from every other contractor I've worked with. Patricio and Carlos could have easily packed up, told us we'd have to wait until the next day, and moved on to their next job. Instead, they stayed. They waited outside my house for hours. They repeatedly apologized for the inconvenience even though the delay wasn't their fault in any way. They had done their job and done it well, yet they refused to leave until the entire situation was resolved. NV Energy didn't arrive until nearly 8 PM. Patricio and Carlos were still there. The moment NV Energy completed their portion, they immediately restored everything, verified that power was working properly, and stayed until we were fully situated and every aspect of the job was complete. That level of customer service is rare. They didn't leave us stranded. They didn't pass the problem to someone else. They didn't do the minimum. They saw the job all the way through from start to finish, even when it meant spending their entire day and evening making sure their customers were taken care of. I am incredibly impressed with Ampere Electric, and especially with Patricio and Carlos. If you want a company that does what they say they're going to do, communicates honestly, and treats your problem like it's their problem, this is the team to call. Five stars, without hesitation. I can't thank Patricio and Carlos enough. Seriously.

I had been researching EV charger installations for quite a while, and based on what I was seeing…read moreonline, most installations seemed to range from $800 to $1,800, depending on the length and complexity of the electrical run. My installation ended up costing over $4,200. I understand every home is different, but the final price was much higher than I expected. Because my home only has a 100-amp electrical panel, I was steered toward a different charging system than the one I originally wanted. After the installation, I did more research and discovered that the system I was sold was available elsewhere for significantly less. I wish I had taken more time to compare options before moving forward. Ultimately, I take responsibility for making a rushed decision, but I hope my experience encourages others to slow down, get multiple quotes, compare equipment prices, and fully understand all of their options before committing.
