She gave me instructions over the phone to try to help me, but I had already tried those suggestions before I called her. She had no one available today, but when I told her my husband is a stroke victim and the problem was right next to his bedroom door, she found an employee for me today. Dave's electric contacted me right away. The others asked me to wait until Monday with an automated message. I was asked to check the GFI breaker, the GFI outlet and to check if there were any other outlets that were not functioning. Through this process, I was able to track down a lose connection in the kitchen where many of the circuits come together. I was able to fix the connection myself which saved me hundreds on repairs. The light company I bought new lights for my house from recommended an independent company to install and they would contact me in 48 hours for estimates. They took five days to call, they came in, looked and took one measurement and gave me a quote of $700+. Nearly lost my teeth, that's as much as the lights I bought! We started searching Yelp and found really good reviews for Dave's, and was give a really good quote for two lights installation with a quick install date, less than 24 hours from time of quote! I have 18ft ceilings and the lights where 26 and 36 lbs with lots of bobbles and such. They came when they said they would, they where very careful of their surroundings, protecting my furniture, they picked up as they went and was even ready to vacuum once they finished! Fantastic service. Book an appointment to install 5 ceiling lights and received a quote from the front office lady. Dave's team showed up on time, were super personable, and swiftly installed all 5 of them in under an hour. We wanted them to do some electrical work with adding an outlet, they took a look and explained that the work would involve cutting some holes in the drywall, which was in retrospect somewhat expected as it is an old house. We opted to not move forward due to cost consideration. Dave's team did not charge additional cost for the evaluation, and charged exactly what was quoted for the lights installation. Came on Yelp to find an electrician for work on my house. Received 3 responses. Dave's Electric was one. I liked that he was local. I was given a quote. With the quote was a remark ( I later figured out was standard) asking for information. So I responded asking if they needed more information. A very basic "no" came as a reply. I then emailed them again asking to set up and appointment. Waited 2 days no reply. I then called and left a message saying that I would like to set up an appointment to have the work done. As of today ( this has been a 2 week process) I still have not heard back. So my thought is, if you need it done, don't call Dave's. read more

Whoever heard of SAME DAY electrician service? Well - THIS GUY, because that's what I got from Carlos and Michael at Dave's Electric. I literally called Dave's Electric around 11am, and by 1pm they were there. They put in a light fixture in a closet (with a dimmer switch) and put in 2 outlets where they had to go into the attic and fish the line across and down through the wall. Done by 4!! They were fast, clean, very professional, and VERY reasonable price! Super cool guys, also! When I have future electrician needs, I'll be calling Carlos & Michael. Was having non-emergency electrical issues with my house with some lights in the kitchen and some electrical outlets not receiving power. Reached out to Dave's Electric to see about resolving the issues before a $200 problem manifests into a $2000 problem. Call to Dave's was made in the late afternoon, early evening. Dave's returned my call within a couple of hours right before closing time. Ronda was cordial and to the point. Appreciated her treating me like a person who wanted to resolve the issues instead of treating me I am just another business transaction dictating terms before the electrical issues are even addressed. She was able to schedule an electrician to come by my house the following morning. Made a new friend with electrician Carlos who was very knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot my electrical issues quickly. Carlos was able to multi-task and hang out with me from time to time while troubleshooting the issues and resolving them. To my surprise, I received a response immediately and the representative provided me with several suggestions for solving our problem. Although the suggestions didn't work, I greatly appreciated her effort to spare us a service call. Patient. Knowledgeable.Fair. This company provided a quote that was a FRACTION of the estimates we were given to install four new ceiling fans (no previous wiring). Other companies gave us responses such as "Let us know when you can afford to do this job" along with their outrageous estimates, but Ronda was able to get us setup with an appointment the same week! Unfortunately, I screwed up and did not let them know we had a last minute change on our schedule which prevented anyone from being home during the original time slot. Although she wasn't able to get us in the next day or so, the guys showed up to work today (a weekend day--which is difficult to come by!) and got the job done and THEN some. Both the electricians explained what they would be doing to make the units work, got into the attic and did what was needed. I had to go back to the store TWICE and they were nothing short of patient and understanding on both occasions. They cleaned up their work areas accordingly and made sure everything was in working order before they left. Ronda immediately responded to my request for a quote to install two Ring Floodlights and we had the job completed the next day. We had them install one over the garage and one in the front of the house where no wiring previously existed. The installation was completed extremely quickly and blended perfectly with the house. While they were at the house we had them install an outlet in our backyard and install an outlet on our kitchen bar. Ronda and everyone involved was extremely professional and courteous.
