I was a Town Fair Tire fan for 12 years, but their service has nose-dived in recent years. Sure enough, an employee there told me that the owner had died and even admitted that others also complain about their declining service. Then I had a flat the day before Easter, but my friend still had my jack. So, I held up my tire to oncoming traffic for a good Samaritan to pull over, and he did: A guy named "Clint," who is affiliated with Sullivan Tire. His family was with him, but he still stopped to help me out. When I went to Town Fair Tire to replace my blowout, they didn't even notice I had another tire that was completely bald. You'd think that'd be in their interest and the customers' to replace a dangerously worn tire. The pressure had gone down to 17, but they just filled it with air instead, masking the symptom rather than fixing its cause. These people just don't care, and their attitude shows it. So, for that second tire, I went to Sullivan in Bedford, and what a difference! Instead of Town Fair Tire's $185 price, Sullivan charged me only $110. And their waiting room is far better than Town Fair Tire's, playing "The Matrix" on TV, offering free Keurig coffees, free wi-fi, and multiple copies of the current newspaper. Meanwhile, Town Fair still uses COVID, from five years ago, as an excuse not to bring back the coffee. Instead of being problem solvers, Town Fair Tire "yeah-buts" have only excuses. Sullivan has results. I'm so happy with Sullivan Tire, so glad I'm able to speak with my money, and so very glad to spread the word here in this review. Life just got better! read more

Another pleasant experience. Upon entering, I received a friendly greeting, considering it was early morning. After confirming my appointment, I went for a walk. Sometime during the walk, I was contacted, the technician needed the wheel lock key. Apparently, I provided what I thought was the key. I explained where to look in the trunk. Upon arriving back at the store, I was told the key was not found. Upon looking, I managed to find the key; it was under the spare tire. Not very easy to find. I apologized for the mishap. Though I delayed the store's scheduling, it was never apparent. Everyone (the front desk person and the technician) was very patient and understanding. read more

I've done business several times here (oil changes, rotations, balancing, alignments, state inspections etc) and every time I've been here it's been a great experience. Recently I've had to bring in both of my garden tractor wheels and tires here to fix bead leaks. The wheels are in rough shape and I was hoping to not have to buy new ones as they are very expensive. Both tires developed leaks from the beads and I thought I would bring them here to see if they could fix the problem. They fixed both wheels and saved me hundreds of dollars per wheel! Sullivan Tire continues to exceed our expectations for tires and repairs. They are reasonable, professional, and honest. They passed two cars when we brought them in for inspection which hasn't happened to us for YEARS. Other mechanics always find an "issue". They also don't overwhelm you with "you should probably" recommendations. They recently checked on a noise we were having with our truck and didn't charge us even though they took it all apart and flushed the system. The problem was fixed and they went on to explain that the next step, if it happens again, was to replace a part that they don't handle. The gave us a recommendation for a shop that does. Criminals. I was told I needed new brakes to pass inspection. The price was over $600. I brought the car to a different shop to see what they would charge for the work. The second shop said there was nothing wrong with the brakes. I went back to Sullivan Tire (since they had my money for the inspection). They again said I couldn't get a sticker. I needed brakes and showed me some wear on them. I again went to the second shop and showed them the wear. I was told it was not near enough to warrant replacement. The owner of the second shop said, "Tell Sullivan Tire that we can call the Police in Concord to come check this out. I'll stand by my opinion that these brakes pass. Will they do the same?". I went back to ST and told them what the second mechanic said. All the Sullivan Tire mechanic said was, "I'll get you a sticker." And he did. An interesting side note that the second shop pointed out to me, the inspection rejection form is supposed to be signed by the mechanic. The Sullivan Tire mechanic didn't sign it, meaning that the car was not legally rejected. They tried to tell me the mechanic went home sick, that's why he didn't sign it... but I think that's the scam. Tell the customer it's rejected and needs work, but don't legally reject it. Most people would just get the work done to "pass" when you just may have passed anyway. This actually happened over a year ago, but I don't believe they've changed much. read more

I have been going to Sullivan tire for over 1.5 years now. I went to auto fair Honda in Manchester New Hampshire for oil change and they let me know I needed front and back brakes along with rotors. I decided to go to Sullivan tire instead since I trust them more, it's a good thing I did. It looks like I only needed front brakes and rotors. So they finished my car quickly and for less money than auto fair Honda along with other quotes from nearby auto shops/dealerships. I love their honesty and they showed me the actual rotors and brakes. I would recommend them to anyone if you want the job done right and for the correct price. Since I live in Litchfield, they also picked me up and dropped me off at my home with a courtesy shuttle, it couldn't have been easier!! read more

Thieves. Seriously. We needed new brakes and a couple of other things on our truck and they quoted us at almost $900 so we called another nearby shop and they quoted us at $600. After bringing this to their attention they were happy to lower the price $200. Also, we have had more than one time where they claimed to do a service, like an oil change, and didn't do it. And after paying for four new tires one blew out after 20 miles. I brought it back and it was not a road hazard, the tire had been improperly inflated. We did end up getting a free tire but it was a mess...4 hours in the car waiting for a tow truck and then they didn't want to pay for the new tire. After that they offered us road hazard insurance for the car for $189, no thanks. 3 strikes and you're out. I will never ever go back. read more

Been going here for over years. Started to notice that everytime I was there, I needed more work on my car that ran perfectly fine. After both of my vehicles failing inspection and being quoted repairs of $1600 and $1300, took it to an another garage and both vehicle passed inspection with minor work and total cost of$800. Sullivan Tire says that they dont do brake pads or just rotors but has to do the whole brake system to the tune of $700. I asked why everyone else will just do pads and they say the are the only ones to do it right. Right....no one but they do it right. BS. Heard from my shop mechanic that their service writers get commission on total job. Total ripoff place. Stupid of me for being duped for so may years. read more

Brought in a tire with a slow leak to get repaired. They thought they fixed it, but the next day it was already going flat. Brought it back in again and they tried to fix it but couldn't find the leak. Next day it was still leaking. I then took it someplace else and this place found the leak in 5 minutes. read more

I literally don't know where to start and this was the place that I trusted this is the place where I would refer people -this was the place that I thought I could never question. The motto is to treat your customer as if they were family well considering that I did put work into my car $1400 to be exact and to be driving for less than even a month come to find out that my left tire was completely loose and I kept saying something was off and I kept saying to the owner and the manager hey somethings wrong I know somethings wrong and I get to another Sullivans location and they told me yeah you pretty much we're not driving a safe vehicle. I'm not questioning the customer service I'm definitely questioning the mechanics that are hired at this location as this should be protocol and procedures to make sure that your vehicle was completely inspected before you leave and now I am never going back. What they didn't know is I am a mechanic and they tried taking me for a ride. I begrudgingly paid my bill, yet they will never see me or any of my cars in the future. I had work done on my vehicle there and shortly after went to have an inspection done at Bonneville. It didn't pass inspection because Sullivan had forgotten to put the cotter pins on after doing the work. When I went back to have them finish this, they gave me two free oil change coupons for the inconvenience. I gave them to my 80 year old grandmother who lives near by and would get more use out of them than I would. When she went to use one of these coupons they changed the oil, but not the filter... which re didn't realize of course until much later when my husband went to change the oil. read more
