It's not often that I see a rating so far off from what I experience. This is some very good pizza, gently priced, and the people working here seem nice.

Pretty good local food but unfortunately very inconsistent... This is what you get when you ask for "EXTRA" tomatoes

Been going here for years but the past few pizzas have all been burnt. I get one time happening but it's all the time now

Amazing pizza! Extremely underrated, would highly recommend coming here at anytime!

We were hungry on our drive home from upstate NY. It was a long drive and ready for a break. Frank's Pizza was spotted from the road and figured pizza sounded good right? This pizzeria is your typical Italian American restaurant. Bright interior with the red checkered board table covers. Our friendly waitress got our order with fried calamari to start and a large pizza. The calamari was fine. Not oily and came with the usual marinara dipping sauce. The pizza was a thin crust slightly oily pizza the kind one gets from like many of the NYC pizza joint. We are probably spoiled living in the city with our choice of them. As for Frank's pizza it did the job. It was a good solid pie for what it was.

Franks continues to deliver some pretty good slices at decent prices. They serve squares and angles. Appetizers and pasta dishes are not bad. Have yet to try the sandwiches or a complex pie. My family has dubbed them the best slice slingers in town. But I'm not sold on that. Always packed after work for pie pick ups (no delivery). Leave work_Blockbuster for movie_on to Franks. 3.5 stars but today I'm rounding down. The order: 2 Slices (I hate radio raheem) Spinach & Artichoke Grandma 1 Robert Duvall - Angel Hair topped with Alfredo, dollops of Ricotta, topped with Mozzarella, and baked. The Verdict: Both slicers were tasty. Especially the Spinach & Artichoke pretty nice. As for the Robert Duvall (not really what it's called. This is a custom modified order. I and I alone named it Robert Duvall because I happened to be watching Falling Down while eating)... Anyway my idea and there execution made for a nice meal. I'd put this on my menu if I were slingin' pies. I would just add, white pepper, chiffonade of fresh basil, crushed garlic and olive's oil. I'd finish/top it with these additions. Maybe even a fresh tomato dice but then it becomes a Noam Chomsky. Good place to stop for some fine slices and other Italian delights. Search continues for the top slicers in the area.

I've been coming here since I was about 10! Frank's is a very solid pizzeria and it's pizza has not disappointed me. I sat in the dining room for the first time on Tuesday and the service was fast and attentive. We ordered two slices one with just sausage and the other with sausage and bacon, calamari, and fettuccine Alfredo w/ chicken. The slices were amazing as always. I wasn't crazy about the marinara that came with the calamari a bit more flavor overall on that dish would have really elevated it. Same goes for the alfredo dish. All in all love Frank's Pizza and I'm willing to try out more things on the menu.

We started off with the fried pickles that were the perfect combination of crunchy and tasty. The best fried pickles I've had because the batter was seasoned and the pickles were cooked yet still crunchy. They created a sorrel type dipping sauce that was absolutely out of this world. What drew me to this was the smoked brisket sandwich. The brisket was flavorful and literally melted in your mouth. It was topped with melted cheese and a mango habanero chutney that was out of this world. The flavor profile of this dish was exquisite. My husband did a make your own meal, which included two meats and two sides. He opted for the jerk chicken an ribs with a side of Caribbean rice and fried plantain. He really enjoyed the cook on the meats. I can't wait to come back and try their Mac and cheese.

Decadent desserts: classic cannoli and cannoli cheesecake Refreshing drinks including a homemade lemonade (so good!), iced coffee, cappuccino, and a macchiato. I was in town for the 2pm Lion King Jr. performance at the church just down the street, featuring my #1 Honorary Young Pup as a certain uptight red-billed hornbill (if you know you know). Sustenance was in order, and I wasn't looking for anything too heavy so this brunchy coffee spot seemed ideal - and it pretty much was. There was ample parking in the lot behind the building, but the place was pretty packed when I walked in. Even though I had to weave through a crowd to get to the counter, there wasn't an actual line and I was able to immediately order. Cute spot; looks like it's been fairly recently redone (last few years?) and I enjoyed the bathroom, which features very classy artwork of aristocratic felines on the walls. The soap dispenser is in a weird/awkward spot far to the left of the sink where it's almost impossible not to drip directly onto the floor, but at least they have one. I decided on the Protein Berry Crunch Toast and a slice of their Lemon Blueberry Loaf. Both were very tasty/hit the spot. I got the slice immediately upon ordering and considered getting a second one while I waited for the Toast. Cooler heads prevailed. It felt at least a little less naughty than that lemon loaf that Starbucks has, primarily because of the lack of icing (it has powdered sugar on top instead) and was moist; not too crumbly. The Toast came out probably in 10 minutes or so, which I think is perfectly acceptable given that it was clearly busy in there with both in-person and online orders. For the most part, I thought the combo of ingredients worked really well together; I was a little apprehensive about the cheese coming in, but it's pretty subtle and only dominant in a few random bites. I think the weakest part of the toast is the blueberries, but that's honestly more of a personal palate call than anything else - it just didn't totally mesh with the cheese for me and didn't have the vibrant taste of the other included fruits. But same token, part of the optics of this dish hinges on that blue. Everything is a balancing act. I'd totally get that again in a pinch, especially if I wasn't looking for a giant meal. The service/hospitality was very good, almost too good. After I finished my loaf, I left its wrapper and my number card (for them to locate me for the rest of my order) on the table while I used the restroom, and they were both picked up by an employee doing a sweep. That's arguably on me, who temporarily abandoned a table that looked like it had nothing but garbage on it. Even though it required 10 seconds worth of troubleshooting to get my number back, I don't know how you don't consider that a positive on the part of the staff. The same guy took my "real" garbage on my way out before I had a chance to bring it back inside. Very friendly, pleasant staff. Nice spot if you happen to be around. Will try to sample the coffee options on my next foray.

There are a few tables outdoors right nearby the docks, so you can watch boats come and go on the lake while you enjoy your food. The service was so good, they even gave us a bowl of water and some treats for our dog! When we left they were so thankful and told us about some events they have coming up, they do car shows! This is definitely going to be our go to spot whenever we are in the area for a hike or camping! The only thing I would suggest would be to have a little more signage outside so it is a little easier to spot from the road.
