I've given this place a few tries now and have come to the obvious conclusion that they serve some of the most stale slices I've ever seen a business try to get away with, in an area where a great pizza place would easily thrive. It's an unbelievable missed opportunity and the people in this area definitely deserve better. I've given this establishment 2-3x tried now for a fair chance. Unfortunately, it hasn't changed my opinion once. Service - For starters, I don't think i noticed a single smile or positive take from any of the employees there. 2 of the 3 visits resulted in a pretty dishonest and worn personality from everyone behind the counter. Rare to find in this area, to be honest. The first time i called and inquired, "which slices do they have out." The response was, "a lot." Okay, thanks. I get there and there were maybe 3-4 different toppings out (lol) Food - I've tried two of their soups and several of their slices out for the picking. Crust is stale and doughy which means they leave their slices out for a while or don't cook it long enough. Buffalo wings were soggy to all hell which is crazy considering they're fried and breaded. Not the best mix. The soup, more specifically Pasta Fagioli, tasted like canned product from your local supermarket. Being new to the area, it's a shame this place couldn't work being so close to my home. Really hope it gets revamped or falls under new management for the employees' sake. read more

I have ordered the fried calamari several times just because it is filling and low calorie and low carb compared to everything else on the menu. They aren't really fried, just coated and heated. They were never good, but tonight they were absolutely inedible. They didn't even resemble food, just cold hard rings. I put them in my air fryer for ten minutes and was able to eat a few but threw out the rest. I will never order calamari from Frank's again. Their pizza isn't great, either. read more

Never will I ever order from this place again, Friday night Jan 10th ordered a little after 6 o'clock, ordered 1 chicken parm sandwich 1 order of fries, and in order of chicken franchise, received a text that it will be delivered between 7:06-7:21 then a text that said between 7:28-7:43 we ended up calling cause it was 8 o'clock and they said it would be there soon, didn't get here till 8:15, chicken parm was soggy and cold as well as my fries chicken franchise also cold as bricks, called wanted to speak to a manger let's put on the phone with some Spanglish guy who I don't believe is the actual manger and I complained about the cold food and he put up some sorry excuse to which I asked for a refund and he said I'll give you credits and I was still speaking and this guy straight up hangs the phone up on me, you'll never see me here and will always suggest people go elsewhere then this crap hole, I expect a refund and a call from a real manger read more

We have been long time customers of Franks Pizza in Jefferson, but after tonight we might have to change our minds. Ordered via Slice a large cheese pizza, garlic knots, and mozzarella sticks. Placed the order at 7:00pm, says "out for delivery" at 7:15pm, and still no delivery after 8:30pm. We called and they said that the order was never prepared or "forgotten". Arguably the worst pizza that I have tried in 2019. We came here famished and tried 4 different slices. Pizza is mostly tasteless and in some instances actually had a really horrible after taste. We were hungry on our drive home from upstate NY. It was a long drive and ready for a break. Frank's Pizza was spotted from the road and figured pizza sounded good right? This pizzeria is your typical Italian American restaurant. Bright interior with the red checkered board table covers. Our friendly waitress got our order with fried calamari to start and a large pizza. The calamari was fine. Not oily and came with the usual marinara dipping sauce. The pizza was a thin crust slightly oily pizza the kind one gets from like many of the NYC pizza joint. We are probably spoiled living in the city with our choice of them. Franks continues to deliver some pretty good slices at decent prices. They serve squares and angles. Appetizers and pasta dishes are not bad. Have yet to try the sandwiches or a complex pie. I'd put this on my menu if I were slingin' pies. I would just add, white pepper, chiffonade of fresh basil, crushed garlic and olive's oil. I'd finish/top it with these additions. I've been coming here since I was about 10! Frank's is a very solid pizzeria and it's pizza has not disappointed me. I sat in the dining room for the first time on Tuesday and the service was fast and attentive. We ordered two slices one with just sausage and the other with sausage and bacon, calamari, and fettuccine Alfredo w/ chicken. The slices were amazing as always. I wasn't crazy about the marinara that came with the calamari a bit more flavor overall on that dish would have really elevated it. Same goes for the alfredo dish. All in all love Frank's Pizza and I'm willing to try out more things on the menu. read more

Their chicken fajita and their buffalo chicken slices are amazing! We were blown away by the amazing flavors that after 4 slices we had to get more. The fajita slices had onion, tomatoes, and parsley on there and was just so yum. The buffalo chicken slice had just the right level of spicy and flavor. I am amazed at the negative reviews of this place. I am from northern Sussex County and I work in the Jefferson/Lake Hopatcong area. I frequent Frank's Pizza a few times per week. They have the absolute best pizza I have ever had here, and when I bring friends to this establishment they agree 100%. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. My personal favorites with pizza is buffalo chicken and chicken fajita, but my non-pizza favorites are the buffalo wings and pesto sauce. Everything in this place is homemade and delicious. It's also worth mentioning that Jefferson Police frequent this restaurant daily. If local law enforcement eats at this establishment every day, you know it's a great choice. Went a couple of weeks ago and had a couple of slices, and beef ravioli with meat sauce. Pizza was great had a nice hint of garlic, but the pasta wasn't to good. The ravioli was hard due to undercooking and the meat sauce didn't taste like anything and it was very watery. Ordered a sandwich and pizza a couple of days ago and it was great.
