My boss ordered two pies last Monday from here that really really surprised me, might be some of my more favorite specialty pies in the area. Fortunately, I didn't grab any photos, but we had a drunken grandma (vodka sauce instead of tomato) and Brooklyn-style pie that were both really good. The vodka pie wasn't overwhelming in any direction so it was a solid overall slice and the Brooklyn style was especially flavorful and a very nice surprise. I will definitely be coming back here to try some other slices soon. read more

Friendly staff. My complaint every time I've taken a slice home of their thick pizza looks like a Sicilian slice but it's not square. The pizza is raw. I'm chewing on dough. This is not a one time occurrence. I tried it again months later and no change. read more

Consistently delicious thin crust style Pizza over here at Paisano's. Everything they bake is done in an old school type set of brick ovens which adds a TON of delicious flavor and crispness to their Pizza. You really can't go wrong with any of their innovative topping combinations as well as any of the standard style of Pizza that they serve here.      So far I've tried the Drunken Grandma, the Chicken in Vodka Sauce, and the Traditional Plain Slice and all were very tasty indeed. Fact: Pizzerias represent 17% of All Restaurants in America and sometimes it seems like there's one on every corner here in Jersey but I wouldn't want it any other way. Last night was my first stop at a new pizzeria nearby, Paisano's. The restaurant is at the location of the old Scalici's in the Weis shopping center on Rt 10. The place looks very much the same and is only pickup, no delivery. The positive was that the pizza was very good. We went with half plain, half pepperoni. A really nice crust and a tasty sauce. The reason for only 3 stars is that the front counter service was a mess. On a busy Friday night, things were completely disorganized. Customers were being taken out of order, then I was told my pie was not ready when in fact it was sitting in a box on top of the oven. I'm assuming that as time goes on, the front end problems will get straightened out. I'll try again in a few weeks to see. read more

Usually a huge fan of paisanos never have a complaint and family members always ask us to order from them when they come over but tonight got my first bad review for them... I got my food and start eating it and there is a piece of hair in my food I immediately get on the phone and call the paisanos and tell them about it and the manager says that they can make a new one but I'd have to come pick it up. And I asked if they could deliver it to me and was told no that they don't have a driver or anyone available to bring me a replacement. I said there is no one that works there that would be able to bring me my food and then the manager said no. I said that's not good for business that you aren't taking responsibility for the situation at hand and he said I can credit you for next time I said my food should be delivered and I should not have to worry about any hair in my food any more. And that I will not be ordering food from them anymore and to be honest I would order from them at least once a week and always would tip them in store nonstop. I am beyond unhappy with the service they have not provided me for this situation. read more

I'm so disappointed! I ordered Chicken Marsala. As soon as I as I saw the dish, I knew I wouldn't like it. The "Marsala" sauce had almost a white color to it. Upon tasting it, there was absolutely no flavor. Good thing I ordered garlic knots (not the greatest either) and a side of sausage. My main entree was not even edible. read more

Great pizza, horrible customer service. We have ordered here multiple times before. Buyer beware there are coupons listed on their website that specifically state to mention the coupon while ordering but when I mentioned they insisted it had to be printed and even insisted it was an old website, hung up the phone before telling me how long it would be. When I went to pick up the food and showed them the website it was in fact the correct website and there is no old website. Even after showing them the coupon they would not honor it. I asked for the owners email or phone number and they refused stating it's not given out. If the coupon Clearly stated print I wouldn't be causing a fuss. Good thin pizza, BUT during busy times like Friday nights, if picking up check your order before you leave. It will save you a trip back which is not good when you are hungry. Good pizza, bad service. I've gone here regularly for a while (it's on my way home from work), but they often have no pizza ready, or give you attitude about not wanting a slice they just burned. Their website hours aren't when they're really open. If you show up at 11am to pick up pizza, they tell you they're closed and the pizza will be ready at 1130. Never had this at another pizzeria. Final straw was when they took out a new plain pie, I asked for a few slices, he heated it up again (not sure why), burned them, gave them to me and was surprised when I said I didn't want them. No apology, nothing, he was just indignant like I was being weird and then ignored me. Hire better staff because I'm not the first one to have this issue. read more

I have ordered a couple times from this place, and I don't think the food is worth the money. I tried a philly cheesesteak and it was just okay. I also had a slice of pepperoni pizza, but it barely had any pepperoni on it. The guy working the front is always very rude. I went to pick up an order for a friend, and he told her that it would be $3 over the phone. When I walked in to pick it up, he tried to charge me $5 for that same slice she ordered. I gave him $3, he took the money, and said "alright get outta here" while he pointed towards the door. I do not recommend this place considering how average the food is and how poorly they treat customers. read more

Stunningly average pizza, I had high hopes for this place when it opened a few months back (and before the Covid-19 pandemic). The owner gave me a free slice to try and it seemed good. However, the times I've ordered full cheese pies since, the crusts have been overly doughy, to the point that it led me to conclude the pie was not completely cooked. The tomato sauce, which I am sure comes from large cans tastes far too sweet. My suggestion when ordering from Paisano's is to ask them to make sure the bottom of the crust is super crispy or else you'll just get a doughy mouthful of cheese and tomato sauce. read more
