This is excellent gluten free pizza. I don't need it, personally but it was delicious.

Great little hole -in-the-wall pizza joint. Homey atmosphere. Excellent service. Wife needs gluten free and their GF pizza is delicious. I had the chicken sandwich and it was very good, but the bread it's made from was outstanding. Our friend had her favorite, the tacos. She's a regular local that showed us Frank's Place.

Grabbed lunch in this nice little downtown pizzeria. We opted to not get any pizza however the pizza I saw come out looked amazing. We got a decent helping of the home made Alfredo. Tasted delicious. We also got a 1/2 meatball grinder and soup. The meatballs and sauce are both homemade as well. They had three homemade soup options. The potato soup was excellent!! The dining area is limited to about 4 booths and three tables. Overall very clean. Our waitress was very helpful and we received great service. The menu has not only pizza but some pasta options and burgers. This is a place we will come back to.

Our custom made veggie pizza... LOVE the variety of options!

I love when you're walking out and the kids covered in tattoos making pizzas sincerely ask how your experience was and thank you for coming in. I've been to Frank's, maybe a dozen times, over the last 15 years and I don't think the place has ever changed. The Sicilian bread is still to die for, the service is excellent. One of the best parts is how fresh the ingredients are and the variety! I don't eat meat so any place that gives me options like jalapeno, broccoli, spinach, fresh thinly sliced mushrooms, red onion... has got my number. They have a lot of options on the menu, but I make the trip primarily for the Sicilian cheesy bread. It's a must-have.

Next time put the fresh basil on AFTER cooking so it doesn't turn into burned hay.

Love Franks. Excellent menu selection and nice little salad bar. I've never had anything bad there. My favorite place for pizza.

Updating my initial review as we've been back over a dozen times (between happy hour, dinner and…read moretakeout)! First, happy hour is awesome: 4-5pm + last hour (so 8-9pm Sun-Wed and 9-10pm Thursday thru Saturday). It's half off: draft beers, sangria, starters, house cocktails and wines. Also, I stand by the opinion that DropTop is the BEST Detroit style pizza right now. However, their burgers are also FIRE - that olive burger? YUM! I also am happy to share that the little details from opening - like cold frosty glasses, cold plates for salad, from scratch dressings/sauces, etc. is still on-going which truly makes a difference to the overall experience. Service is always super friendly, helpful.

The burgers are easily the standout!! juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shakes are AMAZING, and the pizza is different and big size, making it great for sharing. The fries are another win: crispy, well‑seasoned, and addictive. The environment is nice and cozy, which adds to the charm, though I do wish they had more tables. That said, they've optimized the experience by offering a separate pickup door, which makes takeout incredibly smooth and efficient... a smart move for a small business. What really elevates DropTop is the staff. They're super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and you can tell they care about the food and the customers. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. The burgers were my favorite, but honestly, everything I tried was solid.

This delicious New York pizza chain apparently has a location in Ann Arbor of all places; we went…read moreto ALOT of places when we visited yesterday and this one was the one we absolutely had to go to. My girlfriend doesn't even like pizza. She LOVED Joes. The interior feels like they took the NY location and turned it to a warm break spot for those freezing their a** off and wanted something hot, homemade and FRESH out of the oven. Celebrities like Dua Lipa, 50 Cent, Bradley Cooper, Leonardo DiCaprio, Etc. EVERYONE LOVES JOES. Question is, and the most important of them all; does Dave like Joe? I don't know we had beef in kindergarten, let's see if I've finally stiffened up to him. I'm happy to say, a plain cheese pizza with basil does the trick beautifully. Delicious, foldable even though it doesn't flop. The sauce is easy to digest and so is the crust; I ate 5 huge slices and didn't feel a thing, it's so light and sweet. But it's crunchy! I got well done so I knew there wouldn't be any flop jalop. Perfection. Cheese was outstanding, crust showed the beauty in simplicity, the sauce was quite good but still a little too bland. I really wish the sauce POPPED. Another negative factor about this place is that it is DIRTY. Dirty to the honest cashier- Dirty to the floor. But it's okay, I know that the pizza comes out of a 500 degree oven. Any bacteria that might be on my pizza get burned and killed. Such a BEAUTIFUL pie. Loved it. (4/5)
