This spot is a true classic dive and is a must stop for any dive bar enthusiasts in the Lansing area. The owner is incredibly welcoming. He plays great music, prepares AMAZING fried chicken, and serves good cocktails. There's a pool table and a ton of space to just hang out and chat with your pals. Bartender was knowledgeable and attentive. She knew what she was doing. I recommend sticking to beer if you are drinking. I ordered gin and tonics and got their own gin ("Hard Nose Gin"). It did not appear to resemble a traditional gin, but the description describes it as "juniper-forward". It was alright, but not my choice. I stopped by the night before and had a couple of pints of the Blood Orange Blonde, which was EXTREMELY good. I have never tried any of their other beers, but, given my experience, there appears to be a lot of promise there. Overall, a very good experience. I recommend. I still think they need to cut down the sauce on their olive burger - by a lot. But the flavor was very good. And the burger was cooked to my liking. I will definitely visit again. I get to the Lansing area a few times a year, and I'll be back.
