I came here because I saw in an IG reel of the viral Dubai chocolate frappe. It was def glamorous compared to actually going here. The location is in a very touristy part of town- right next to an Orlando tourist gift shop and Bakery 1908. There seemed to be a lot of locals who were pretty rowdy when I got there with my family. The ordering was very transactional and there was a misunderstanding with my order. I ordered two Dubai chocolates and pointed to what I wanted, as well as another one with a Labubu chocolate. The guy took my order, I paid. And then stepped aside for others to order. I looked on my receipt and I was charged for only one (it was $21 so I didn't blink and question it when I ordered two). The Labubu chocolate was an extra $5 which I didn't know and the guy who took my order didn't tell me. I didn't go back and correct my order to two, I was pretty over being there to be honest because of the heat - it was 100* , and so many people around. There is one place to sit with a few plastic Adirondack chairs in a circle, which was already occupied by one group. I don't know what you're supposed to do, just stand around and enjoy your ice cream while standing at a busy high traffic location? Go to my car and eat my ice cream? And with the lack of seating, there were electrical lines/extensions everywhere on the ground. I didn't feel safe being around all that. I don't know , man. The owner made the cup and it was full of strawberries from top to bottom and the taste was wonderful OMG ! We also got 2 different flavors in smoothies and holy wow!!! Went around 5:30 on a Saturday and they were quite busy it's located in a little ice cream kiosk. They have a total of 3 to 4 people working and there is 20 to 30 people waiting. I tried the Dubai Strawberry and Dubai Chocolate Cup, and both were extremely underwhelming. First off, the Katifeh was burnt. I know golden brown can be a good thing, but this was way past that -- dry, overly crunchy, and clearly overcooked. It completely ruined the texture of the whole dessert. The chocolate used in the cup tasted cheap and lacked any richness. It didn't blend well with the other ingredients at all. As for the pistachio spread -- thick, low-quality, and just plain average. It felt more like filler than a flavorful component. The strawberries were the only decent part, and even they couldn't save it. On top of the poor quality, this place is extremely overpriced. $15 for one dessert like this is just not worth it. There's another spot nearby (I won't name it to keep things fair), just two minutes away, and they charge almost $3 less -- and honestly, the quality is so much better. You could buy your own giant tub for the same price and make for yourself and friends several times. It was not worth the money. Not worth the hype. There are multiple reviews talking about how they run out of the ice cream yet they have not upped their quantity to cater to the masses just a bit more? They have a little spot to sit w a couple of chairs and must've never thought to cover all the tripping hazards around the chairs. All of the parking spots look to be reserved for Olive Garden, Denny's, or the gift shops so you have no where to really park. We went and wanted to try the Dubai strawberry cup and get a frappe. First off, the wait was 1.5 hours on a Saturday evening. That's nuts even for Orlando. We almost left twice. We ended up eating at the bakery next door while we waited because my kids were losing their minds. There's no refunds which we found out after finding out the wait time. When we first pulled up there was 1 other family in there getting the last of their order. Once she was done she did not immediately take our order because she was in the middle of a FaceTime call. I originally thought someone was in there with her because of how loud the person was talking but later noticed it was a call she was on. The inside work area is so small so I would imagine if two people were in there they would be bumping into each other. She finally took my sister's order and I thought that since I was also standing there she would take my order as well but she did not. At this point it's only the 2 of us in line. She starts making my sister's order but very slow because she's busy still on this call. She never rung up the first thing my sister orders so she had to put an order in for that. Sister pays with cash and the lady has to go in the store to get change, ok fine. She comes back gives the change and the order. This is taking about a 15 minutes and yes she's still on the phone and I still didn't order my stuff. My sister gets everything she needs and she finally takes my order and by this time there's a long line behind me. Instead of making my order then being that I've been there for well over 20 minutes now she takes everyone in the line orders. Not sure why this couldn't be done when it was only us but now at this point I'm beyond irritated. The person she's on the phone with is still yapping in the background. After taking everyone's order (another 5 minute wait) I finally get my order of lemonade, piña colada, and a Korean and chicken wing ice cream. The drinks were delicious the Korean ice cream was good but I myself couldn't finish it because it was too rich for me. The chicken wing ice cream tasted stale. I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to taste because my sister said the same thing about it and it was our first time having it. Oh and the ice creams are $10.
