The adjustment was done and out I walked. Sometime later my wife told me that I had an indentation on each side of my head where the arms of the frames went. My glasses kept slipping and they were very uncomfortable. I went back for another adjustment and Michelle was working. Bottom line. The previous "adjustment" damaged the frame and Michelle replaced the frame and fit them perfectly to my head. I will keep going there but will make sure Michelle is working when I go. I…read moresaw Dr. Johnny Leung yesterday, and he is STILL the VERY BEST eye dr. and I hope he is at this practice for MANY years to come! I can't imagine going anywhere else now that I've had the BEST! My husband has to come with me each time, (for his appt too), since I'm so afraid of going to the eye dr. He mentioned afterward, on the way home, that, and I quote, "Thankfully Dr. Leung is still young so will be there awhile!" I couldn't agree more! Why do I like this eye dr. so much? He is patient, and that is saying something for someone like me who is scared to death of the eye dr. I don't know where this comes from, but the why is beside the point. He is so patient with me, takes time to explain about my eyes and shows the pictures they took of my eyes. He did the same for my husband. He lets us stay in the same room during our eye exams and that helps to calm me. Now for the staff...they are all exceptional! Friendly, answers any questions, and are patient when looking for frames when I can't decide which ones I would look best in. (Neither of us needed frames yesterday at our appt. but from past experience know this to be true). You don't feel rushed here, and everyone makes you feel like you are the ONLY patient they have! I told her that I learned more in one visit (for my son, not even an appt for myself) then I have learned in many years seeing other eye doctors. dr. Johnny absolutely takes time to explain everything to you about your eyes. I have been seeing another eye doctor and paying out of pocket for a reevaluation every year. Dr. Johnny said that that diagnosis/solution (prism) RARELY EVER CHANGES, so I don't need to keep going back and having it evaluated and paying hundreds of dollars. Holy crap! He also explained what macular degeneration is and what causes it. My blonde son with light blue eyes needs to be wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses as often as possible to prevent it in his old age. So those are just two examples of fantastic helpful friendly information I got in one hour. Not to mention, the staff is so nice and helpful. My husband and I both got awesome frames that we love and get lots of compliments on. (and by the way, just now my husband had an issue with his friends and they fixed it quickly and no problem!!!) I just really can't say enough about this office and would recommend it HIGHLY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY to anyone!

The place…read moreI used to go to (Normandy Optical) has really gone downhill the past few visits, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. I found this through the insurance that I currently have and would receive a free exam through them. They do sell frames here, but I'm going to get them somewhere else for a few different reasons. I called ahead to make sure they would work with my current insurance and they were able to find me in the system. I booked an appointment and was able to be seen within a few days of my phone call. Anyway, I walked in and the staff at the desk here was super friendly and helpful. I informed them of what I was there for and they checked me in and answered all my questions. Ok, so here's where I docked a star. If your running a doctors office, and you accept insurance, please don't ask me what I have covered "in my plan." I know there's lots of different insurance companies with different forms of coverage, but it's vision, and usually the coverage's fairly standard across the board regardless of who's paying (the insurance company, not the person.) I spent the time to educate myself on what I get through this specific coverage, so I knew what I was walking into. Free eye exam, 20% discount on progressive bifocals, etc. Even though I absolutely love the staff here, nobody seemed to know about coverage. Fortunately, I did. So, even though I had considered purchasing frames and the lenses from this specific location, it wasn't financially feasible for me at this time. The doctor here is fabulous, very professional and efficient. I was in and out in no time and have a prescription to get new glasses so I can see again. I would come back here in a heartbeat as this office is well run, efficient and the staff here is really one of a kind. Dr. Weingarden really knows his stuff and wasted no time and did a fabulous job. I can't brag enough about how wonderful and helpful the staff is, and I will gladly return in the future. I can't thank these gals enough!

The staff is welcoming and friendly which really sets their staff apart from many places. I see Dr.Lorne and am always impressed with the level of attention and care he gives. Aside from being genuinely so nice and a pleasure to talk to, he always explains everything in detail so I feel educated on my prescription and overall eye health. He goes over the photo scans and explains what he looks for and it puts me so at ease knowing that he is paying attention and looking for those details. I always leave feeling confident after my appointments that any questions I had were answered and I know exactly what to expect for ordering any glasses or contacts and future appointments. In addition, the "dry eye specialist " Dr Brandow doesn't remember from one appointment to the next so you may get a completely different experience each time with different recommendations. At one point she put me on a very expensive dry eye medication and called in 4 months worth. Then she told me to stop taking them! So I have almost the full 4 months worth sitting in my medicine cabinet for over a year. What a waste of time and my copay money!!
